The scene shows the group walking in a wasteland. They stop in front of a crack in a wall and prepare on what might be their biggest battle yet.
Mickey: it's time. The Keyblade Graveyard is up ahead.
Sora: (sees something) someone's coming.
They all look ahead, and see a man walking towards them. It was Xehanort, in his original form. A few of them were shocked, but still held their ground. He stops a few feet away from them and gives a sly grin.
Xehanort: legend has it that darkness once covered the world. We know so little about the Keyblade War—only that it was just the beginning. I'd ruin brings about creation, what, then, would another Keyblade War bring? When the darkness falls, will we be found worthy of the precious light the legend speaks of?
Ansem: (appears) or will all of creation be instead return to the shadows? Today, we will recreate the legend and see.
Xemnas: (appears) but first... Your light shines far too brightly. It must be extinguished in order for the truth to be seen.
Vanitas: (appears with Young Xehanort) only when your hopes have been broken by battle upon battle can the key be claimed to Kingdom Hearts.
Young Xehanort: and break you is what we shall do. It has been etched.
Arcturus: nothing is written that can't be unwritten. We beat you all before, and we'll do it again.
Cronos: (appears in armor and cloak) in that case, we'll see you in the battle field. If you survive.
Darkness the grew underneath them and shot out to the sky. From it, Heartless began falling out, along with Nobodies, Unversed, Soulless, and Nightmares.
Sora: look at how many there are!
Arcturus: there's thousands of them.
Clara: any bright ideas?
Riku: split up!
Mickey: okay, everybody. Get ready.
Everyone summons their weapons and spreads out. Arcturus, Sora, Donald, and Goofy were grouped up and they attacked. However, they kept coming in more and more and the friends were beginning to loose ground. Sora then decided to trigger an attraction that made the train again. They all road it and blasted at the enemies, causing them to fly up in the air. Arcturus then charges it with energy and they sent the train diving straight down, destroying everything and finally clearing the air.
Sora: that was crazier than the one thousand heartless battle.
Arcturus: it's definitely on the list with other big fights.
Donald: where are the others?
Goofy: they must've gone up ahead.
Arcturus: let's go.
They double checked everything and headed out.
*PAST*
With the younger versions of Xehanort and Eraqus, Xehanort plays his last move.
Xehanort: checkmate. And so darkness prevails, and light expires. You need a new strategy.
Eraqus: my move, isn't it?
Laura and Xehanort are confused as Eraqus grabs his piece and pulls it back to the starting point.
Laura: um, Eraqus, you should double check your pieces. There's none left on the board.
Eraqus: it's not over yet.
Xehanort: c'mon. That's not fair. I know I had you.
Eraqus: yes, you nearly did. But, a game's no fun if you know where it's going. There's more to light than meets the eye. I told you.
On the board, seven new pieces appeared. The other two friends were now intrigued by what this was, and Eraqus smiles.
Eraqus: some light comes from the past.
Laura: interesting. You know this reminds me of a tale with Kuroi.
Xehanort: what about?
Laura: when he was beginning to show signs of his fall into evil and madness, he had allies with him. People who shared his beliefs. But, one day, one of those dragons tried to make Kuroi his servant, in an attempt to control him. So, the dragon just followed for a while, but in the end, when the other dragon least expected it, Kuroi attacked and killed the being. To punish him more, he assisted the enemy they were fighting.
Xehanort: so, what you're say is, Kuroi's a trickster to everyone he meets. And only serves his own goals
Laura: precisely. The tricksters are the harder ones to figure out.
Eraqus: who do you think is the trickster?
Laura: (innocent smile) I'll leave that to your imagination.
*PRESENT*
The four went through the cavern, and arrived to an open field. There, they found the others.
Arcturus: everyone okay?
Everyone: (nods yes)
Aqua: (looks around) I hoped to have never returned back here again.
Ventus: you and me both. Not just with us, but I lost a lot of friends because of that stupid war. (Remembers the unions)
Weiss: we won't let that happen again.
Blake: but if they want us to fight them, why send so many enemies?
Roxas: they're not holding anything back this time.
Naminé: this is their final stand. It's all or nothing to them.
Ruby: they really want to do this?
Terra: Xehanort's been planning this for years. He wants us to forge that sword, no matter what.
Sora: even if that means working with people more dangerous than him.
Blake: we should keep going.
Clara: (detected something) hold on, everyone. We've got incoming.
Arcturus: how many?
Clara: a lot.
They turned to see Heartless approaching as the Demon Tide, and then Soulless as the Devils Storm. More then surround the area and the teams saw this was a new fight.
Sora: these guys again!?
Arcturus: now its a tag-team.
Aqua: boys, we'll hold off the others!
Sora: okay. We got this!
Arcturus: girls, I could use a hand with the Soulless.
RWBY: you got it!
Sora, Donald, and Goofy they fought the Demon Tide, while Arc and RWBY fought the Devils Storm. The groups then battled again. While it wasn't as massive as the first one, it definitely kept them busy. The two teams fought till the swarms were in second stage, which made things harder, but pushed it back.
Just when it looked weakened, both the tide and storm began merging together. This causes the air to pick up and the rest of the enemies to join them.
Goofy: something's wrong.
Donald: look out!
Ruby: what's happening!?
Blake: they're merging into a giant storm.
Like the Faunus said, everything got sucking into a giant tornado. Sora charges straight forward to attack, when is greeted by a white light. There, he sees a boy around his age with white curly hair, a black short jacket, white shirt, brown pants, sky blue eyes, and a red scarf.
Ephemer
Ephemer: (turns to him) needs some help?
The light fades, and Sora looks up to the sky and sees hundreds of Keyblades fly right towards him. They merge together into a storm, and like Vanitas, he rides it.
Sora: woo-hoo!
With the power of the previous wielders, Sora fights the storm head on. He keeps going until he breaches the storm and attacks the core. Using all the blades, he shredded the core, and defeated the enemies. Sora lands back on the ground, and was amazed as the Keyblades disappeared.
Riku: Sora! (Runs over with the others) are you okay?
Sora: yeah.
Arcturus: dude, that was amazing!
Mickey: what was that?
Aqua: Keyblade wielders...from long ago.
Ventus: it's the light of the past. Haha! Ephemer, you mad genius!
Terra: how do you know it's him?
Ventus: I just...feel it.
Kairi: (points) look.
They look in the direction she's pointing, and see a pathway leading to the wasteland. However, they see someone from the dust walking to them. Everyone gets on guard.
Axel: just send out the Big Bad.
Roxas: what he said.
The figure finally appears, and they're surprised to see the darker Repliku (since the original one will so up later, I dub thee Dark Repliku. It was either this or Billy). He gives an evil grin and has Soul Eater resting on his shoulder.
Riku: (glares) you!
Mickey: the Organization's been using hearts. Ones Xehanort got to in the past and has influence over.
Xion: and they decided to use a remake of the first replica they made.
Riku: yeah. How could I forget?
Dark Repliku: (chuckles) I'd say that was our finest hour.
Riku: wrong. My hour of weakness.
Naminé: if you're anything like before, then help us stop this.
Dark Repliku: oh really? (Dark aura grows) let's see you handle this!
The sky then darkens, and from the clone, a giant shadowy version of Xehanort appears.
Dark Repliku: a real test for the Mark of Mastery!
Riku: what did you say?!
Xigbar: (appears) we gotta make sure you're not blundering you're way toward a failure.
Axel: blundering? I'll have you know we fail with style, chief.
Xigbar: at least you admit it. Well, if you guardians think you brought the goods, you'll have to prove it to the old guy one last time. Kid, take it away.
He teleports away, and with a powerful scream, the clone causes the shadow to grow, and turns it into multiple smaller tides. He fades away with the smoke to regroup with the rest of his team.
Sora: this again!?
Arcturus: this is getting real old real quick!
Everyone gets their weapons out again, and we're battling again. However, more kept coming from the sky, surrounding them. Even with Arc's speed, they still kept coming.
Yang: holy crap. There's so many.
Mickey: this isn't good.
Aqua: form up, now!
They all huddle together and saw that they were closing in. They were already tired from the first couple of fights, and things weren't looking good. Mickey thinks of the situation, and prepares for a special attack. But Riku stops him.
Riku: if you try to use time magic against these numbers, you won't have enough strength for the final battle.
Weiss: we're running out of room, though
Aqua: I'll try and break through. Everyone, get ready!
Ventus: alone? That's crazy! I'll help!
Kairi: two is no better.
Terra: no one gets left behind!
Axel: yeah, splitting up's a bad idea!
Roxas: there's too many.
Xion: we're low on mp.
Naminé: we have to do something or we're dead.
Arcturus: (charges dragon arm) enough of this!
Riku: Arc, wait!
He's about to transform. But before he could, a light flies down, and they see it's Master Yen Sid and Summer Rose. The wizard uses his magic to create a force field that clears a path for them, and Summer unleashes lightning storms that helped destroyed the enemies.
Yen Sid: go, young champions. We will hold them all here for as long as we can.
Mickey: we're not gonna leave you behind!
Donald and Goofy look at each other and nod in agreement. Team RWBY sees this and joins them.
Donald: you guys go on!
Goofy: me and Donald will stay here. The two of us'll back up Master Yen Sid and Summer!
Ruby: and Team RWBY'll give you some cover fire!
Arcturus: are you sure?
Sora: it could be dangerous.
Weiss: you trained us. We got this.
Donald: you're a whole pint by yourself, Sora.
Goofy: don't worry. We'll catch up with ya in just a bit!
Yang: go and kick Xehanort's ass.
Blake: we know you can do it.
Sora: okay.
Arcturus: (kisses Ruby) for luck.
Summer: hurry!
Team RWBY then transforms into their celestial forms and Yen Sid strengthens the barrier. Acting fast, Arc grabs the wielders, and ran straight to the where the real battle begins. They arrived to an area where there were four sections that contained hundreds of Keyblades in each section.
Sora: this is where it all began. It's weird, but it feels like we've done this before.
Arcturus: Blake said that this all happened before. Sometimes they were so small, no one noticed, and others were so big, they nearly destroyed everything.
Sora: well, either way, this ends here.
They looked up ahead, and saw all members of Organization XIII approaching them. Except for Xehanort, all wore their cloaks and had their hoods up to conceal their faces. They stop across from them, and Xehanort makes his move.
Xehanort: today, we join these other wielders and leave our mark on fate. I have waited patiently... but together, we shall unlock the Keyblade War's secrets. (Summons Gazing Eye) now we forge it. The ultimate key...the X-Blade!
He plants his weapon in the ground, and it creates a grid around the area. From it, walls rose up from the ground, transforming the area into a maze. From the top, he looks down with a smug grin on his face. The others look around, and knew their next move.
Arcturus: there's no turning back, now.
Sora: there wasn't when we first came here. Here we go.
Nodding in agreement, everyone ran through the maze, some going their separate ways, and others pairing up. But, either way, this was the last stand. From the sky, thunder strikes and purple and gold lightning clashed each other for a moment.
Author's note: here we are.
So, I completely cut out the first death. Honestly, with the craziness I already made here, it wouldn't make sense to have it here. Even the next few bit will be different, but the ending will be the same.
Ephemer appears. I've realized now I've been misspelling his name a few times, so, I'll have to trace my way back through the chapters and fix that.
We're now at the fights. I don't know how they'll be divided, but I do know Scala will be its own part.
