Colby
I wake up and I check the time 9:30 I sigh and put it down and I wrap my arms back around Sam tightly and pull him close and he snuggles into me I smile and kiss his head. Minutes later Sam stirs and whines slightly I start to play with his hair and he leans into my touch "morning baby" his eyes flutter open and he looks at me and smiles "g'mornin daddy" he moves getting on top of me and putting his head in my neck I wrap my arms around him and rub his back. "M' hungy" he mumbles "what do you want" "pancwakes" "ok but you gotta get up" he huffs but doesn't move I chuckle and sit up and he wraps his arms around my torso and puts his head on my chest "what time" I grab my phone "it's 10:12" he puts his chin on my chest looking up at me "get up baby" "no" he giggles wrapping his arms around my neck holding on tightly "ok fine" I get up taking him with me and he squeals giggling he looks at me and glares playfully and I peck his lips and he giggles and puts his head in my neck. I get to the kitchen and put Sam on the counter and I go to the cupboard and grab the pancake mix along with a bowl and measuring cup and I bring it to where Sam is "tan I mix it!" He asks excitedly "course baby" he smiles and I put the mix in along with water "ok baby mix it" he giggles and starts mixing it and I grab the pan and put it on the stove and turning it on to heat it up. "Otay I done daddy" I mix it a couple times to see if it was mixed all the way which it wasn't. I go to put some on the pan but Sam stops me "daddy da choky chips!" He giggles I nod and grab the bag and put it in the mix then I put it on the pan.
I plate the pancakes and I hand one to Sam "tank woo!" I make myself a plate and we eat. I put our dishes in the sink "daddy I bwoard" he whined "why don't you do something in the living room I have to do the dishes" I say while taking him off the counter "but I wanna pway wif woo" "I'm sorry baby I'll play with you after" he nods sadly I kiss his forehead and he goes to the living room. I finish the dishes and I go to the living room and Sam's watching tv "hey baby, what are you watching" he looks up at me and makes grabby hands so I pick him up off the couch and sit down with him on my lap "paw patrol" "aww are you three again" he giggles as I poke his nose he sits next to me and watches it again and then my phone goes off
Elton: we won't be leaving until tomorrow but make sure you pack
Colby: ok but I thought we were leaving today
Jake: the RV won't come till tomorrow
Colby: ok
"baby" he looks up at me "I need you to go back to your apartment" he furrows his brows with a small frown "whyyy" he whines "well I need you to do something there" he nods "here I'll take you there then show you what to do" I say getting up and then picking him up "otay" I go to Sam's apartment and walk in. I get to his room and put him down "ok I need you to pack bring clothes that will last a couple weeks" he nods and he walks to his closet pulling out a suitcase that has cow print on it "I'll be back ok" he nods I smile and kiss him "bye bye" I smile "bye" I leave his apartment and go back to mine. I pull out a black suitcase and start packing. I finish packing and I grab Sam's presents and the wrapping paper and wrap them up once I finish I put them in birthday bags and hide them again. I put my suitcase by the door and I leave going back to Sam's apartment I go to his room and he's still packing "hey baby" "daddy!" He runs to me and hugs me I chuckled and I hug back I kiss his head "do you need help finishing" "pwease" I nod and we finish packing. Stormy runs in the room "stormy!" Sam starts petting him "daddy" "yeah baby" "is he toming wif us" "um I'm not sure" "tan he pweaseeee" he begs I pull out my phone and text the others
Colby: he wants stormy to come
Jake: you told him were going camping!?
Colby: no not yet we're just packing and he asked if he could come too
Jake: and he didn't ask why
Colby: no now can stormy come
Elton: only if he's trained well
Tara: stormy is one of the best trained dogs I know
Elton: ok then he can come
I put my phone away "ok he can come" "yay!!!" I chuckle a bit "ok get his things then" he nods and runs out of the room and I continue to pack. He comes back in with a bag of food, his bowls, his leash, and some toys and he goes in his closet and grabs a small backpack but big enough for the things to fit besides the food and bowls "it won't fit" he huffs I chuckle "baby it's ok" he nods I zip his suitcase "ok let's go back to my apartment" he nods and picks up the things for Stormy "stormy fowow" he giggles walking out of the room stormy following him I chuckle and leave turning off the light. We get in my apartment and I put Sam's suitcase next to mine and I shut the door Sam gives stormy some water and food. We go in the living room and watch Disney movies cuddling.
"Daddyyyy" he whines "what baby" "I wanna coder" "go ahead baby it's on the table" he giggles and gets off the couch and grabs the coloring book and crayons and lays on his stomach and starts coloring. There's a knock on the door and then it opens I look up and it's Jake and Tara "ok just walk in that's fine" I laugh they laugh a bit and sit on the couch and Sam still didn't notice them "baby" he hums still coloring "Sammy" Tara says he gasps "tawa!" "Hi bubba" "Jake!" He giggles and stands up grabbing his coloring book and crayons and sits in between me and Jake "what are you coloring Sammy" "fwish!" He shows them the book and it's nemo and dory and then goes back to coloring "bubba how old are you" "tree!" He giggles and Tara coos "why'd you guys come anyway" I ask "we were wondering if you guys wanted to stay at the house today" Tara says petting stormy who just sat in her lap "yeah sure" "great get dressed" Jake says with a small chuckle then I notice were still in pajamas "right" I chuckle "baby let's get dressed" "whyyy" he looks up from the coloring book "were going to their house" he squeals and jumps off the couch and runs to my room I chuckled "guys when Sam goes to change in the bathroom could you take the presents to the car" I ask "yeah" Jake nods I get up and go in the the room "I change in bafroom" Sam says with his clothes in hand "ok baby" he smiles and he goes to the bathroom and then Jake and Tara walk in and I grab the bags and give them to them "we'll be back up" "thanks" they nod and leave and I change. I walk out of the room and go to the living room and they are all there sitting on the couch "ready" Jake asks "yeah" "ok grab your suitcases and we'll go" I nod and Sam gets up and goes by the suitcases too and he grabs the bag with the dog toys and puts it on his back and he dumps out the water in the bowls and grabs the food bowl too and then picks up stormy "otay I ready" "ok let's go" Tara says and opens the door and they leave and I grab both our suitcases and leave closing the door.
We get to the house and we walk in and I put the suitcases by the door and Sam puts Stormy down and we walk in the living room "hi guys!" Corey says looking from the tv then back at it "hi!" Sam giggles and he sits next to me on the couch stormy following and laying next to him. We were all talking but Sam got quite so I look at him and he's playing with the end of his skirt "baby are you ok" he nods not looking up "baby" I trail off "I jus bwoard" "oh I'm sorry baby here play on my phone" I say handing him my phone but he shakes his head "I wanna pway wif woo" "baby we don't have any toys" he sighs and grabs my phone "I'm sorry baby" "it otay" he mumbles I sigh and I wrap my arm around him pulling him close.
Sam yawns and he puts his head on my shoulder putting his thumb in his mouth and closing his eyes "baby don't do that" I say moving his hand he huffs "c'mon let's get you to bed" he opens his eyes and stands up I get up after "where are you guys going" Elton asks "I'm gonna put him down for his nap" "ah ok" I nod and grab Sam's hand and I walk upstairs and go up to the guest room where Jake put our suitcases. I let go of Sam's hand once we get in and he sits on the bed and I open his suitcase and grab a paci and his teddy bear I close it and go to the bed. He makes grabby hands so I put down the things and pick him up I then sit on the bed against the headboard and he looks at me "tan woo sweep wif mwe" he asks tiredly "sure baby" he smiles and wraps his arms around me and puts his head on my chest and closes his eyes "baby lay down" he sighs and gets off me and lays down under the covers I grab his paci and teddy bear "here baby" he looks up and he smiles grabbing the paci and putting it in his mouth and grabbing the teddy bear hugging it I go to lay down but I hear scratching at the door I furrow my brows and open the door and stormy walks in I chuckled and close the door and walk back to the bed and lay down next to Sam and wrap my arms around him and pull him close then Stormy jumps on the bed and lays on the other side of Sam and Sam giggles tiredly and pets stormy I smile and kiss his head he giggles and yawns "go to sleep baby" he hum and closes his eyes. I soon hear soft snores so I close my eyes about 5 minutes later I hear the door open "he- awww" "dev is he in there" "yeah Tara look" Devyn whispers "awww" Tara coos "guys what are you doing" "Jakey look" Tara says I hear him chuckle "let them sleep" he says and then I hear the door close I tighten my grip on Sam and I let sleep take over me.
