Misty and Serena are about to start their Gym Battle.
"The battle between the Gym Leader Misty and the challenger Serena is about to start!" said the referee.
"I won't go easy on you because you are Ash's friend!" said Misty.

"Each trainer will use two pokémon and the battle ends when all pokémon of one trainer is unable to battle, okay?" asked the referee.
"Sure!" said Serena.
"So, let the battle begin!" said the referee.
"Psyduck, I choose you!" said Misty while throwing a pokéball into the air.
"Psy!" said Psyduck while stepping up on the field.
"Pancham, come out here and help me out!" said Serena while throwing a pokéball into the air.
"Pancham!" said Pancham.
"Make the first move, Serena." said Misty.
"Okay! Pancham, use Stone Edge!" said Serena.
"Pancham! Pan... Cham!" said Pancham while using Stone Edge.
Stone Edge makes contact.
"Psyduck, Water Gun!" said Misty.
"Psy! Psy... Duck!" said Psyduck while using Water Gun.
"Quick Pancham, dodge it!" said Serena.
Pancham dodges it.
"Let's end this with a single attack now! Pancham, Dark Pulse!" said Serena.
"Pancham Pan!" said Pancham while using Dark Pulse.
It makes contact.
Psyduck doesn't move a muscle.
"What? That should've been super effective against Psychic types!" said Serena.
"Psyduck isn't a Psychic type..." said an unimpressed Misty.
"Still... It does had an effect, but my Psyduck can be a little... Too absent-minded sometimes..." said Misty.
"Psy!" shouted Psyduck while putting its hands on its head.
"There it is..." said an unimpressed Misty.
Serena looks unimpressed too.
"Now! Use Confusion!" said Misty.
Confusion hits Pancham.
"But since Pancham is a Fighting Type... Confusion is super effective!" said Misty, smiling to Serena.
"Pancham! Are you alright?" asked Serena.
"Pancham!" said Pancham.
"Since Psyduck isn't a Psychic type... Use Arm Thrust again and again!" said Serena.
"Pancham! Cham Cham Cham Cham Cham..." said Pancham while sprinting towards Psyduck.
"Psyduck, dodge it!" said Misty.
"Psy?" asked a puzzled Psyduck.
"Of course..." said Misty, unimpressed.
Pancham successfully uses Arm Thrust multiple times.
"Now Pancham, use Dark Pulse at close distance!" said Serena.
"Pancham Pan!" said Pancham while using Dark Pulse.
It hits.
"Psyduck!" shouted Misty.
"Psyduck is unable to battle! Pancham is the winner!" said the referee.
"Thanks Psyduck, now rest a bit..." said Misty while retrieving Psyduck.
"You did it!" said Serena, smiling.
Pancham smiles back.
"Don't celebrate it yet!" said Misty.
"Now, let's change the field!" said Misty while pressing a button.
The field starts to go down and fill itself with water.
"Pancham, can you continue?" asked Serena.
"Pancham!" said Pancham.
"Now, it's time for my famous pokémon! Gyarados, show them your beauty!" said Misty while throwing a pokéball into the air.
Gyarados enters the field roaring.
Serena looks shocked.
Pancham looks shocked.
"Did you two like my beautiful Gyarados?" asked Misty.
"It sure is beautiful! But we're going to win it! Isn't it Pancham?" said Serena.
"Pancham!" said Pancham.
"Go ahead... Make the first move!" said Misty.
"Pancham, we're going to have no chance if we attack from close distance..." said Serena.
"Pancham..." said Pancham, agreeing.
"Pancham, use Dark Pulse!" said Serena.
"Pancham Pan!" said Pancham while using Dark Pulse.
"Gyarados, use Hydro Pump!" said Misty.
Gyarados uses Hydro Pump.
Both moves cancel each other.
"What do I do..." thought Serena.
"Gyarados, use Rain Dance!" said Misty.
Gyarados uses Rain Dance.
"I've got an ideia!" said Serena.
"Pancham, run around the field! It can't keep up with your speed!" said Serena.
"Pancham!" said Pancham while starting to run around the field.
"We're going to have to wait for it to stop to use our move..." thought Misty.
"Now, use Dark Pulse!" said Serena.
"Pancham Pan!" said Pancham while using Dark Pulse.
Dark Pulse Makes contact.
"Now Gyarados, Hurricane!" said Misty.
Gyarados uses Hurricane, hitting Pancham directly.
"Pancham!" shouted Serena.
"Pancham is unable to battle! Gyarados is the winner!" said the referee.
"You did great! Now get yourself some deserved rest..." said Serena while retrieving Pancham.
"If you're going to use the field to your advantage... I will do the same!" said Serena.
"Milotic, I choose you!" said Serena while throwing a pokéball into the air.
Milotic is on the field.
"Milotic, this is a water type gym... I think you should be able to take advantage from the field too..." thought Serena.
"Okay!" said Milotic.
"If you're going to take advantage from the field too, I'm going to use my full power!" said Misty.
"Do you think this looks good on me?" asked Misty while pulling her hairclip.
"Is that...?" Serena was asking.
"Yes!" said Misty.
"Now Gyarados, Mega Evolve!" said Misty.
Gyarados Mega Evolves.
Serena is surprised.
"I think we're going to have a tough battle..." thought Serena.
"But I think I'm capable of winning it..." said Milotic.
"Come on, Serena! You make the first move again!" said MIsty.
"Milotic, use Dragon Pulse!" said Serena.
Milotic uses Dragon Pulse.
Gyarados takes the hit.
"Gyarados, take advantage of the rain! Use Hydro Pump!" said Misty.
"Milotic, use Hydro Pump too!" said Serena.
Both Hydro Pumps look even.
Gyarados' Hydro Pump overpowers Milotic's Hydro Pump.
"Looks like Mega Evolving can really improve our strength... isn't that cool!?" said Misty, chuckling.
Serena is visibly shocked.
"Milotic, are you alright?" asked Serena.
"Yes!" said Milotic.
"Let's use speed again! Swim around Gyarados!" said Serena.
Milotic starts to swim around Gyarados.
"Not this time! Use Hurricane!" said Misty.
Gyarados uses Hurricane, creating a water hurricane in the middle of the field.
The water hurricane pulls Milotic out of the water.
"Milotic!" said Serena.
"Milotic, are you okay?" thought Serena.
"Yes!" said Milotic.
Serena has an ideia.
"Milotic, hear me through this, okay?" thought Serena, while putting her hand over her heart.
"Okay!" said Milotic.
"Dive down the water!" thought Serena.
"Serena? Is everything alright?" asked Misty, worried.
"Yes! Continue the battle!" said Serena.
"Okay! Gyarados, Hydro Pump!" said Misty.
Gyarados is preparing to use Hydro Pump.
"Now!" thought Serena.
"Jump from the water!" thought Serena.
Milotic jumps out of the water.
"Use Hydro Pump!" thought Serena.
Milotic's Hydro Pump makes contact.
"Wow!" said Misty.
"It's not time to be impressed... Gyarados, use Crunch!" said Misty.
Gyarados uses Crunch, biting Milotic.
Milotic falls on the water.
Milotic is clearly furious.
"Milotic? Are you okay?" thought Serena.
Serena just hears growls coming from Milotic.
"Listen to me..." thought Serena.
"Dive down again..." said Serena.
Milotic dives down.
"Gyarados, use Hurricane to pull it back to surface!" said Misty.
Gyarados is starting to use Hurricane.
"Now!" thought Serena.
"Jump out again!" thought Serena.
Milotic jumps out of the water.
"Dragon Pulse!" thought Serena.
Milotic starts to charge in Gyarados' direction, with a purple aura around its body.
Milotic hits Gyarados.
Serena is in amazement.
Misty is in shock.
"Milotic, did you just learned Dragon Rush?" thought Serena.
Once again, Serena can only hear growls.
Gyarados starts to fall down.
"Don't let it recover itself! Use attact!" thought Serena.
Milotic uses Attract.
It worked, Gyarados was in love with Milotic.
Misty looks shocked.
"Now, use Dragon Rush over and over again!" thought Serena.
Milotic uses Dragon Rush mercilessly.
Gyarados falls.
"Gyarados is unable to battle! Milotic is the winner!" said the referee.
"You did it!" said Serena.
Milotic jumps out of the water, still growling.
Serena hugs Milotic.
"Thanks Milotic! You were amazing!" said Serena.
Milotic becomes calm and happy.
"Thanks Gyarados... Sorry about the battle... They caught me off guard..." said Misty while retrieving Gyarados.
Serena retrieves Milotic.
Misty presses a button to remove the water from the field and raise the field again.
