Arthit was having a bad day.
A very very bad day.
He should have known. But he didn't.
Normally, when something bad was gonna happen to him in the course of the day, he would get a heads-up in the morning itself.
Arthit doesn't know how. But he would just get a feeling. Intuition maybe? But atleast he would be prepared.
And then, at the end of the day, he would curse. That he should have stayed at home itself.
But today, nothing like that happened.
Morning was normal.
Till the time he reached office, it was normal too.
But come second half, things started going downhill.
2 of his bosses scolded him, and Arthit disliked them a little more.
And then he got some upsetting news from his home too. Which made him sort of have a fight with his mother.
And if that was not enough, one of his friends let him down, sort of. Not in a big way. But still did.
And Arthit began feeling alone.
So very alone.
That he started wishing.
Wishing, that there was someone, who would accompany him now.
Sit with him, listen to his rants, and then give him a warm hug.
He sighed.
Arthit didn't wanted to go home, so he wandered to the nearby park and sat down.
It was deserted. Considering it was 8pm.
He looked up.
It was a clear night, and the view was pretty.
He smiled wistfully. The universe has this tendency to make you feel small, so small.
Then his thoughts drifted off to Namtarn. A girl he had always liked. But it had been so long, that he didn't knew anymore.
But he does admit, that it would feel nice, if she was here with him. Even just to give him company.
Was he that lonely? That he was longing the company of a taken girl?
Or maybe, it was someone else's company he was desperately craving.
His mobile binged as he sighed and looked down.
He quickly opened it to see, it was a message from him.
"Hey stranger"
"Hey"
" How was your day?"
"Bad☹️"
"Why ? What happened?"
" Nothing just, a bad day at office and at home too"
"Oh☹️"
"I...."
"Yes?"
"I feel so lonely...."
"Oh....what can I do to make you feel better"
"Oh.. don't worry. Just talking to you already made me feel better. But I just wish....."
"Wish what?"
"That someone was here with me. Right here. Right now. Listening to my rants, and then give me a warm hug"
As Arthit typed this message, an image flashed in his mind.
Of two people.
Sitting right here in this park.
Talking.
One of them was ofcourse himself.
And the other person, strangely or not so strangely was not of Namtarn.
It was...
It was...
It was of.....
"Hey stranger!"
Arthit's breath stuck in his throat as the image coincided with the voice.
It was him!!
The person he would meet in elevator everyday.
The person whose voice and perfume he could recognise anywhere.
And the person, whom he was subconsciously having a massive crush on.
Blushing slightly, and with rapid heartbeat, he turned around to look at Kongpob.
"Hey"
Kongpob smiled and took a seat beside him.
"What a coincidence", Arthit said.
"Maybe? Or maybe not?"
"Huh?"
"I might have or have not peeked into your phone in the elevator, and saw your sns and user name", said Kongpob cheekily.
Arthit looked at him dumbstruck.
"So, am right here, right now, with you, to listen to your complaints. And yes, what else you wanted? A hug"
Kongpob then proceeded to give him a long hug.
And just when Arthit thought, Kongpob was now going to sit back, he gave Arthit a quick peck and whispered in his ears,
" And That's what I wanted"
Then took his seat and said,
"Now start. Am all ears"
Arthit sat there gaping at him cause right now, he had nothing to complain about, cause he got, more than he wanted.
