"YN? Yoongi?" A quiet voice calls from outside my bedroom door.
I slowly sit up and get off the bed, trying my best to not disturb the sleeping father-daughter duo. I put my bed-head up into a messy ponytail and walk over to the door, opening it and seeing my mom on the other side.
"Morning, mama," I rasp, yawning after.
"Morning, sweet pea," She greets, giving me one of her warm smiles, "I'm gonna go out and get some food for breakfast. Does Chunnie or Yoongi like anything specific for breakfast?"
"Oh! Are you going alone?"
"Yeah, your father is in the garage doing some things with the car so it't just me today," She answers back.
"Give me five minutes," I say, "I'm gonna change and go with you. We could use some mother-daughter bonding."
"That sounds great! I'll go make us some coffee. Meet me downstairs then we'll go!" She smiles, making her way down the steps to her kitchen.
I smile as I pick out a some jeans and one of Yoongi's tees and put them on. I fix my hair and throw it into a bun before walking back to the bed and shaking Yoongi gently.
"Yoongs?" I whisper, trying not to wake Chunhei, who's cuddled into his side, "Baby?"
"YN?" Yoongi slowly wakes up, his voice raspy with sleep, "Hi, baby. Where you going?"
"I'm gonna go to the shops with mama," I say, placing a kiss on his pouty lips, "I'll be back in a few. Go back to sleep. You both need it."
"Hmm," Yoongi hums, his eyes already closing again, "Be safe, baby. We'll be here."
I lean over and place a kiss on Chunhei's forehead then moved back to place another kiss on Yoongi's lips.
"Is that my shirt?"
"Maybe," I blush, throwing an oversized cardigan over my form, "See you!"
"Hmm, love you, YN." Yoongi whispers before falling back asleep.
"Love you more."
I rush downstairs and see mama with two travel coffee cups in her hands, "Ready, my love?"
"Let's go!" I cheer, thanking her and grabbing one of the cups.

"YN, can you go and grab some flour in the other aisle?" Mama asks while looking over some fruits, "I wanna make Yoongi and Chunhei some pancakes."
"Yum, I love your pancakes," I laugh, walking over to the aisle to get the flour.
I quickly grab the flour and pass some chocolate chips. I stop in my tracks and look at the variety of chocolate chips. When was the last time I made cookies for Chunnie?
"Having trouble choosing?" A voice startles me, making me jump slightly, "Oh, sorry! Didn't mean to scare ya."
I shake the thought from my head and turn to the owner of the face, a gasp escaping my lips.
"YN?" The man questions moving closer to me.
I take a step back.
"YN? Is that really you?"
"H-Hey, Mingyu!" I stutter, scolding myself internally for being nervous.
"What are you doing here? What brings you back to Busan?" He smiles, once again moving closer to me.
"Oh, you know," I start, moving backwards, "It's the holidays. I wanted to visit my parents."
"That's great! Hey, what do you say we hang out sometime? How long are you here for?" He smiles.
"I actually leave on the 1st."
"Are you busy tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I wanted to spend as much time as I can with my family because I haven't been back in a while," I nervously respond, trying to find an escape.
"YN?" I hear my mom call.
"Over here!" I call back, mentally sighing in relief.
"There you are, sweetie! I thought you got lost," She laughs, pushing her cart towards us, "Oh, my! Hwang Mingyu? Is that you?"
"Hi, Mrs. Lee! Yes!" Mingyu answers, moving to give my mom a hug, "I was just asking YN if she wanted to hang out actually. I didn't know she was back in Busan!"
"Yes, she is!" Mama responds, giving my arm a reassuring squeeze, "We're actually in a rush. YN, honey, can you go and take the cart and find an open register. Your father must be really hungry by now! Bye, Mingyu! It was nice seeing you, honey!"
I wave at Mingyu one last time before mama and I walk the other direction.
"Bye! Hope I get to see you around, YN!" He calls out, walking away.
"ThANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU," I envelope my mom in a hug once we find an open register.
"I know how you feel about that boy," She laughs as we place the groceries onto the belt, "I thought he moved to America a while back. I don't remember his mother telling me that he was here again."
"Let's just hope that's the last time we see him," I sigh, putting the last of the items onto the belt, "I don't want Yoongi meeting him. I don't know how he'll react."
"I'm sure we won't run into him again, love."
back home
"Mama! Mummy!" Chunhei races to the front door as soon as we walk in.
"I missed you both!" She exclaims, wrapping her arms around my middle.
"We missed you, my pretty girl," Mama laughs, putting the bags into the kitchen, "Now come here and give mama some kisses!"
Chunhei giggles and runs into her mama's waiting arms, showering her in kisses.
"That's my girl! Wanna help me make some breakfast?"
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Chunhei jumps up and down, calling me over, "Mummy! Mama and I are gonna cook! Come and help us!!"
"I'll be there in a sec! Where's your daddy?"
"Right here, baby," Yoongi's comforting voice rings out.
I turn and see him walking in from the living room, where it looks like him and papa were sitting and looking over some photo albums.
"Hi, love," I greet, walking towards him and wrapping my arms around his middle while burying my head in his chest.
"Someone's cuddly today," He giggles, pulling me closer, "Also, you never told me how cute of a baby you were."
I look up and raise and eyebrow at him, "I never thought it would be papa to bust out the baby pics. Always thought it'd be mama."
"I wanted to be the first to embarrass you!" Papa calls out from the living room, "I haven't even gotten to the embarrassing ones yet!"
I let out a groan as Yoongi lets go, "You gonna help Chunnie and mama?"
"Yeah, I've been craving for mama's pancakes ever since we got here. I'm gonna see her recipe and hopefully make it back home!"
"Go on, baby," Yoongi kisses my forehead, "I'll be in the living room looking at your cute baby pictures."
I pull back and swat Yoongi's arm. He dodges it and walks back over to my dad, chuckling to himself.
"Meanie!" I call out.
"Love you more!" He calls back, making my face turn red as a tomato.
"Mummy! Come help with the pancakes!" Chunhei breaks me out of my daze.
"Coming, munchkin!" I laugh, walking into the kitchen.
a/n: IM SO SORRY!! I swear, I've been slacking off so bad and I feel so horrible for not updating. my internship was getting so busy, I've been trying to register and finish preparations for college and to top it all off, my sister got married this week! July has been so busy and I'm so sad I didn't get to update as much as I wanted to. BUT, now that I'm free from work and have two weeks before classes start, I'm gonna try and pre-write as many chapters as possible!!
