Skylar's POV
"We're leaving soon, go find the others and let them know." My dad walks up to me
"Finally, I thought we'd never leave."
This party has toyed with me more than I imagined, i just want to go home and figure out a way to somehow, maybe, just maybe get Vicky dear to be my friend.
Or maybe murder her and burry her in my backyard.. No? Okay
Think about it though.
I turn on my heel and make my way to the guys but ofcourse like all the other times, someone stops me
"Ms Reigns, you are still here."
This boy just seems to be getting finer every passing minute
"Uh, yes." I think I blushed, I'm not sure. "We are leaving soon however." I smile
He moves closer and takes my hand in his
"Grant me the last dance then, I'll be honoured." He flashes that gorgeous smile
You are no weak female Sky, don't melt. Run if you have to
I see Kendrick walk towards us and I quickly curtsy and grab Mr gorgeous' hand and lead him to the dance floor, well dragged but that's not the important part.
"You know, if you wanted to dance with me so bad, you could've just asked me earlier." He chuckles
Don't get ahead of yourself there
"Your father required your presence so I thought it would've been rude at the time."
He smiles deeper which brings out his dimple and my ovaries are screaming
I think it's starting to heat up in here. My armpits are sweating... Oh god
"He would not have minded, my dad is.... understanding in some sense."
Is he trying to convince me or himself?
"And my dad would probably want to cut off your balls and feed them to your dog while you watch if he sees us dancing together."
It's not a lie, my dad doesn't like his gender when it comes to me or Giana. Especially good looking ones. I mean it took him a while to accept the other three
"Lucky for me, I don't own a dog and I am very good with dads. I'm sure he's nothing scary."
"Skylar Olivia Pamela Reigns!"
I freeze and so does Mr gorgeous.
Nothing scary huh?
"Yes daddy." I batt my eyelashes and put on my brightest smile
"I told you that we would be leaving soon and it is already soon. Who is this?"
I'm tempted to roll my eyes but I'll be grounded for life if i do
"Williams sir, Richard Williams." He confidently says holding out his hand for my dad to shake
This is going to be interesting
"And what business do you have with my daughter?"
I believe when my dad sees me with the opposite gender, he sees pregnancy. It's probably written in bold right now
"Your daughter is extremely beautiful sir." I think I blushed again, I'm not sure. "But we were only dancing."
"Olivia, it's time to go."
Is it wrong to hit your dad on the head with a table?
I mouth a quick I'm sorry to Richard before I follow my dad out. He sends me one of those million dollar smiles and bows
Truly a charmer...
"You know dad, nobody is going to want to marry me with you always in my business." I joke
"Nobody is allowed to marry you until you're 60 or when I'm dead." He seriously says
I laugh, "okay but I gotta start somewhere either way, I can't just jump into marriage right away. So I think its about time I start dating."
"I think not."
Why are dad's so overprotective. I honestly think this is the reason why girls elope, I can think of a gorgeous somebody to elope with but I'm sure both our dads will not rest until they have hunt us both down
"Did you all have as much fun as I did tonight?" Karen asks as we a pile into the vehicle
I can think of two people who did
"Oh yeah, definitely had a blast." Vicky dear says and everyone apart from Kendrick and I agree
"What about you Ken, didn't you have fun?" Vicky dear flirtatiously asks
He looks at her and looks at me, rolls his eyes and looks out the window again
He's such a sport
"Come on, I'm pretty sure I did a great job at keeping you entertained." Vicky dear adds
This causes all the eyebrows in the car to raise. What did she mean about that?
Not that I care or anything, I just like some good gossip
"Shut up Victoria." He warns
"That's not what you were saying when your tongue was down my throat."
Oh my.....
"I said, shut up." He says through gritted teeth
All eyes snap towards me and it's my turn to roll my eyes and look out the window
Vicky dear is the first stop and she gets out of the car after saying her goodbyes.
Nobody has said a word after her little announcement if i can call it such. I just want to get home, change and think hard about the choices I want to make
Next stop is finally me, and I am relieved because I don't think i would've been able to take much of the tension in the car
"See ya." I say as I exist the vehicle
I get into the house and my dad is already there with Giana.
"I'm so exhausted."
I plop down on the couch next to them and i take my shoes off
"If you weren't dancing with that Richard boy you wouldn't have been so exhausted."
My dad is starting to sound like my mom now and its starting to get annoying to be honest
"Yeah no, we aren't having this conversation. Good night everybody."
I get up and head for the stairs to my room. I drop my shoes and throw myself face first onto my bed, letting out a muffled frustrated scream.
I wake up with a sore neck from the position I had slept in. I should get a medal for being able to sleep in this ball gown
I make it to the bathroom after getting out of the dress and do my morning routine follwed by a nice hot shower
I put on some baggy clothes and go down for breakfast. Nobody seems to be awake yet so I make myself some granola and yogurt before leaving a note saying that I'm headed out and that I'll be back soon
The road to the warehouse was one that was terrifying. I don't know how Randy is going to react but I definitely need to tell him
"I wasn't expecting you here today, is anything the matter?"
"No, everything is fine. I just thought I'd come pay you a visit you know, since we're like friends now."
He looks up at me with a 'What are you talking about' look
"Hey has that clock always been here, it's nice I wonder why I never noticed it."
Okay yes I am definitely stalling but you would too if you worked for Randy. The dude is scary
"Skylar."
"Yes sir?"
"Why are you here?"
"Well.... You remember Vee right?"
"Get to the point."
Grumpy old man
"Funny story, she kinda figured out that I am SkyHigh and I know that's bad, really bad but you don't have to eliminate her. I promise I'll take care of it and no other soul will know."
"Skylar?" He calmly says
No, it's not a good thing. Shit is definitely about to go down
"How the fuck did she figure it out?"
He yells, throwing the glass of whiskey in his hand against the wall behind me.
"You can take care of it, are you insane? This isn't a small matter anymore, who knows who else she told. She works for Ben for goodness sake, if he finds out or already knows you could be in grave danger. Not just you but everyone else you are associated to. Those people are dangerous and they do not give a fuck about anyone."
He throws the entire bottle this time only missing me by an inch
If I knew this was how he was going to react, I would've just taken matters into my own hands
"She hasn't told anyone yet, she doesn't have any evidence."
I try to calm him down but it doesn't seem to be working
"You better pray she hasn't."
"I will take care of it, I promise. She won't tell anyone."
"And how sure are you about that?"
"I don't know yet but I'll figure it out. Just don't do anything to her yet."
"You better take care of it. Now leave my office before I have you eliminated."
He's just kidding... I think
"Boss, Ben is here and he requests to as you." Jones announces as he peaks his head into the office
Both me and Randy give each other knowing looks but before we could do anything, Ben or who I think is Ben storms into the office freezing me as he does
"Old friend, it's so nice to see you again."
Yep, definitely Ben. He looks much older in person. He has silky black hair that has been over gelled, with hints of white hair and a clear shaven chin.
"Who do we have here?"
