The day after that at school things were weird between you and rodrick. You met on the roof as usual. "Hey so yesterday..?" you asked. "Oh ya no it's cool it was probably just the music and monster, it didn't really mean much I mean unless like.?" He looked at you with wide eyes "Oh no no, ya we were just weird it's cool it didn't mean anything to me either." You said nervously. "Ya so like it's cool, but idk if you wanted to again we'd be chill it's just kissing I mean." Rodrick said looking off the roof . "Ya no I agree." You say weirdly as he nods "ya." "Ya." You agree.
For the next few weeks you two never really talked about what happened, and when you would mess around you acted like it was normal. It kinda hurt cause ever you knew you really like liked him. As you thinking you get a text.
Rodrick: meet me at the woods in 20 :)
Y/n: oh ok, see ya there
You get shoes on and walk to the woods, feeling the dead leaves crunch under your feet as you took in the air.
Usually you would love this but after Halloween and not talking about anything you felt uneasy seeing rodrick.
Soon you were there and walked in, going to the same place as last time. There you saw rodrick, with pumpkin donuts, monster, and msi playing on a small beats speaker. "Hey uh, what's this?" You asked sitting next to him. "Look y/n, I'm not gonna pretend like halloween meant nothing, or that I don't have feelings for you, and I'm done with acting, it might hurt getting rejected but this really hurts too." He was really upset, nervous. You could hear the shake in his voice, for once in his life he was dead ass serious. You hugged him. "It's ok I felt the same I just didn't know if you did." He pullled away, asking "wait really?" He asked and you nodded. He pulled you in for a kiss
After a nice long talk about everything he asked "so do you like, wanna date?" You nodded, hugging him tight as you two walked back to your house, holding hands finally happy.
