After making friends with different Pokemons, and capturing three of them, Ash along with his mother made their way to the Johto region. As they arrived at one of the major six regions, they decided that the first stop would be the lab of regional professor. As per Harry's research, the man was named Professor Elm and dealt with all the regional matters in relation to giving new Pokemons along with pokedexes to all the fresh trainers starting their journeys. In other words, the man did roughly a similar job as to professor Oak in Kanto.
The meeting with the professor went really great. He was quite welcoming and was charmed by seeing the skills that Ash possessed. What surprised him most was the goal that the boy held in his eyes. He himself didn't know but he has a hunch that the boy will surely succeed in his life. The duo enjoyed their stay at the lab for a day, before finally moving onto their next destination. It was Arborville, which was marked next on their places to visit, and Ash was already more than excited for the new trip and was even more happy when he finally got the news from professor Oak that Mewtwo was now officially named a Pokemon.
The Pokemon, when told, was quite surprised and delighted. He smiled at Ash and bowed to him as a thank you. Ash accepted the honour with a huge smile as he remained giddy for the whole day. And if spotted Mewtwo smiling whole day, he couldn't help but be proud of his achievements.
While Mewtwo remained with Ash only, Scyther and Charmander were sent to professor Oak since they needed special care and treatment, both physically and mentally. Scyther, from anything Ash could gather, was a strong Pokemon but barely escaped many hunters who tried to hunt him down. In process he even lost his family to those ruthless trainers who wanted them for nothing but slavery. Ash felt his aura flaring just below his skin, and it was becoming hard for him to control his anger and not just go and find those hunters before slicing them into small pieces. Charmander, on the other hand, was a whole different case. He was happy after being a part of a new family, but he still was hurt due to the deeds of his previous trainer. Ash wanting to cheer the Pokemon sent him to the ranch where Leaf, Gary, professor Oak as well as all the Pokemons cheered him up and made the Pokemon.
The pair of mother and son were now standing in the Arborville. The local population around the forest warned them about a mythical voice of forest that resided in the forest and was possibly dangerous. Ash couldn't help but snort at the mentality of those people as he knew about what was actually the secret of the forest. He knew something big was going to happen. There was reason he did what he did, and his presence here was necessary for the future itself as well as the survival of the Pokemon that resided here.
Next day to their arrival, Ash found the weather changing drastically. He knew why it was happening and what he was supposed to do, but he wasn't really happy about it. He hated humans who tormented Pokemons and today was one of those days where he was going to deal with such men. Sighing he looked at his mother who was now folding their clothes and keeping it in their bags. He couldn't leave until Delia was awake, and he couldn't wait or the task would be delayed. Something he couldn't afford right now.
Moving to his mother, Ash gave her a small smile before placing his hand on her head. Within moments, Delia yawned before falling back on the bed, into deep slumber.
"I am sorry mom, but you really need to sleep for me to do my work." Harry mumbled caressing her hair and placing a kiss on her forehead. He really didn't like doing this, but he couldn't help it. His mother was not supposed to know who he really was. It will create a huge rift in fates and destiny. Not untill the time was right.
Moving out, he opened the door to their room and exited. Moving down, he exited the centre they were residing before running towards the forest. If he didn't make in time, he could lose something very very important. And he wasn't going to let it happen. Finally reaching his desired spot, what he witnessed made his blood boil.
A man, covered in a whole black attire was trying to use Celebi's powers for his own purpose, all the while draining her life force.
Celebi was screaming in pain as she felt her life force leaving her. Ash could feel her pain, along with the forest, which was crying deeply for its protector. Harry decided he had enough.
Allowing his powers to leak he moved forward. His golden and blue aura surrounded him like an armour while his eyes glowed bright gold.
"STOP!" Ash thundered, his voice echoing in the forest. The man stopped to look at the source of the yell which brought shivers through his spine, only to find a kid standing there with some golden glow around him.
The man frowned.
"Who are you kid?" The man asked.
"It doesn't matter, release her now." Harry boomed, his anger was definitely increasing and harty didn't know if he could spend another minute not attacking this man. Celebi's life force was diminishing, and if something wasn't done soon, he feared she will die.
But to his surprise, the man have a smirk.
"And what if I don't? You are naive kid, you don't know what powers this tiny Pokemon consists within herself. And for what? To preserve this stupid forest? A person can win world with these powers, and I am not going to miss that chance." The man snarled.
"You are aware that what you are doing to her is actually stealing her life force and will leave her dead at the end? Resulting in the destruction of this forest?" Ash asked, he knew his intentions but he wanted to make sure before really punishing him.
To his surprise again, the man gave a laugh.
"You really think I won't be aware of it's consequences? Off course I know boy, but these powers just won't do good with this useless Pokemon, after all it's men who are supposed to rule the world." The man replied.
This was the last straw for Ash. This man managed to do something which no one was ever able to do. He angered him hoti such extent which Ash never imagined he ever would be. Well, this human really exceeded all the expectations. Deciding that the glass was filled to brim, it was time to empty it. Ash glared at the man standing infront of him before he opened his hands, letting his powers flow through them, creating blue flames in hands with gold outlines.
"Now listen here you greedy human. What you are doing is considered cruel in my language, and I am not someone who let's the abuse to a Pokemon slide away with a shrug. Pokemons aren't your servants or slaves, they preserve this earth and some stupids like you, who like to think themselves superior, act like all knowing bigots and it really irks me. You have shown you neither carry mercy nor kinds for the Pokemons and it is not something which pleases me. You have crossed your line when you knowingly took Celebi's life force which could result in her death. And I won't give a damn if I have to kill you to save her, for you have proven you don't deserve this life. Now, are you gonna release her?" Ash asked, his voice cold, hard and filled with rage. The man shuddered in fear as he saw how the young boy was radiating power. But what he did next could oy be considered the most idiotic thing a person could do.
Ash was now totally irked. His body started to glow blue along with his eyes. His power started to flare.
" Listen you greedy human. You are being too cruel to Pokemon. I don't like seeing Pokemon and humans hurt. And humans like you hurt them. So it's fine even if I kill you to maintain balance. And I won't even think for second to do such thing." Ash said in a cold, angry voice.
The man shuddered at the coldness and the sheer power the boy was radiating, but what he did next could oy be termed as the most stupid thing ever done.
"Keep yourself mum kid. You are just a five year old brat. This little show of power isn't going to scare me." The man snarled and finally Ash lost it.
"Okay I am done. Are you that stupid? Seriously I believe you won't even love your own life. Well, your loss, I am really short in time and I have to return before my mom wakes up. So, let's get the things done." Ash said, his voice barely above a whisper at the end, as he raised his hand pointing it at the man.
Closing his hand and forming a fist, he looked at the man who was now choking with his hands on his neck trying to decipher what was going on. Opening his hand, Ash moved twirled his fingers as the man felt pain steering in his body.
A wobbling scream escaped his mouth as he felt the stinging sensation killing him from inside.
"STOP! STOP! PLEASE! ITS KILLING ME. I PROMISE... AH.. I PROMISE I WON'T EVER HURT A POKEMON. I WILL EVEN LEAVE CELEBI ALONE. PLEASE JUST STOP!" The man yelled. Ash looked at the man with an unreadable look.
"Celebi too felt this pain, she too was like, dying from whatever thing you were doing. You didn't stop on my warning, you didn't heed my words. Give me one reason to keep you alive." Ash said.
"I am sorry. I apologise for whatever misconceptions I had. I promise I will treat Pokemons kindly. I will never hurt a single soul in my life." The man said breathlessly as he tried to regain his breath under constant pain. Ash stopped his powers and released the man.
He moved towards the now lying man, who was now panting on the ground.
Ash reach on top of the man, as he glared at him. Due to his flare and glowing eyes, he gave a perfect imitation if someone powerful and intimidating.
"Listen here you human, you will go to officer Jenny right now and confess all your cruel deeds infront of her. You will let her arrest you and serve your prison sentence. And if, I even got a wind of you actually running away rather than serving your punishment, I can swear to whoever is hearing my oath, that I wi hunt you down and what I will do yo you then, will make today look like a bare tickle. For you, the most safest place on this Earth is prison. Am I making myself clear?" Ash asked. His voice seeping with cold rage. The man couldn't do anything but nod.
"Good, now leave before I change me mind, and never ever show me your face." Ash warned as he saw the man stumbling to his feet and running away.
Sighing, he turned to the Pokemon who was lying on the ground, barely alive. Moving to her, he raised her hand, which was now surprisingly glowing green, before placing it on her heart. Soon enough both Ash and Celebi were glowing and within minutes, Celebi opened her eyes coming back to life.
Opening her eyes, she came across someone whom she never imagined to meet in her whole life.
"My Lord!" Celebi greeted getting up. Ash just gave a smile in reply.
"I believe it's you who saved my life today. For that I am eternally grateful to you. If there is anything I could do to pay his debt, I would do it in a heartbeat." The small Pokemon said floating around Ash happily.
"Yes Celebi, there is something which you can do. You are aware that I am here to establish peace and balance. And for that, I will need few companions. I want you, Celebi, to be one of them." Ash said telling his will.
Celebi looked at him surprised.
"Your sisters can take care if the forest and I am not going to force you, but I really wish to have you as my companion on this journey." Ash added.
Celebi merely bowed to the Lord.
"It will be my pleasure my Lord. Not everyone gets to be the part of the destiny of the supreme lord." Celebi said.
Ash gave her a bright smile.
It was a very happy Ash along with a safe and delighted Celebi who entered the room that he and Delia had rented for their stay. Entering inside, he smiled brightly. Moving to his mother, he gently shook her.
"Mom. Mom wake up!" Ash said softly, waking his mother, who opened her eyes and stood up.
"Ash?" Delia asked confused.
"See mom, I brought a new friend! A new family member!" Ash said beaming at his mother.
Delia looked at the pointed direction before her eyes widened in shock.
"Ash!" Delia muttered. "It's.. it's a Celebi."
"Yes mom she is." Ash agreed, nodding happily.
Celebi too was floating and swirling in joy as she felt something. Turning to a backpack, which actually belonged to Ash, she saw it shaking and could feel a life radiating from it. Floating near it, she started circling around, gaining attention of both Ash and Delia.
The pair turned to look at the bag, as they saw it shaking. Rushing forward, Ash swiftly opened it and released the egg that was now trembling in his hands. Few cracks started appearing on the egg, before it finally cracked open and a small Dratini popped out if it.
Ash and Delia looked at the cute baby Pokemon in Ash's hands as they both looked awed at its features.
"He.. he is so cute!" Ash said with a huge smile adorning his face.
The Dratini 'cooed' at whom he thought was his father.
The smile, if possible, got even bigger and Ash moved the Pokemon close to his face. Celebi floated just above them, in the centre of the human and the Pokemon. Suddenly a 'click' was heard and three heads snapped up to look at the source.
Delia stood there laughing lightly as she held up a camera which was the cause of that small noise.
After that, both Celebi and Dratini were caught by Delia, who decided to send Dratini to professor Oak so that he could take care of the little baby Pokemon.
The next journey they had to cover was to the Altomare, which was the residence of the won duo. Not that many people knew about.
As the arrived at the place, both Delia and Ash were awed by its beauty.
The place wa aa city of water, where the transportation was mainly done by waterways. Ash jumped up and down as he looked excited all around the city. While they were travelling around the city, Ash and Delia suddenly heard some squishy sound, which gained their attention. Ash knew in an instant that it was the mischievous eon, Latias, while Delia looked around in confusion.
They sat at a restaurant to have their meal and were in mid way of completing it when they saw a small girl coming to them. The girl was hardly above Ash's age and looked at the boy curiously.
Both Delia and Ash looked at each other before turning to the girl, who all of a sudden, ran away from the pair. Ash swiftly stood up and decided to follow her while Delia too got up to follow his son.
"Ash!" Delia called but the boy decided to ignore the call.
"Mom it appears the girl wants up to follow her." He shouted instead as he turned around the corner.
The pair reached a garden after their trail of the girl. It was surely a beautiful garden. But the person they actually followed, disappeared in thin air.
Suddenly, a large Blue dragon type Pokemon appeared out of nowhere, which was followed by a red and while one.
Both Ash and Delia recognised them as eon siblings.
"It's a Latias and Latios!" Muttered Delia in shock. Latias giggled at her reaction.
"What in the world got into you sister, that you brought humans over here?" Latios hissed angrily at his sister.
Latias just shook her head as she did a loop in the air.
"You are too blind to see who that boy really is brother, just look carefully." Latias pointed out, defending herself.
Latios, even if reluctantly, complied her sister as he looked at the small boy. His eyes widened as he felt who the boy really was before both the Pokemons bowed to him.
Ash gave a nod to acknowledge their respect as he motioned towards his mother shaking his head slowly. Both Latias and Latios understood what their Lord wanted and looked at each other.
They flew forward, landing infront of them, before bending down and allowing both Delia and Ash to climb on.
"Mom, look! They want to give us a ride!" Ash cheered as he quickly shuffled to sit on Latias while Delia was looking at them in shock.
At Ash's yell of delight, she got her senses back, and with a smile, climbed on the Latios who took off in air, following his sister.
They enjoyed the flight as the eons duo took them to a certain height where they could see the city clearly. They flew among many other flying Pokemons, watching the Beauty of the Water City below them. Ash felt the wind striking his face, as his hair gently flowed back. Delia too was experiencing the same as giggles erupted from both the humans. Latias and Latios looked pleased with themselves as they nodded to each other, before finally landing back on the ground.
Climbing down, both Ash and Delia bowed and thanked the pair with a huge smile.
"My dear eon siblings, our destinies are entwined and we will meet soon when the time will arrive. Dangers lie ahead in both our paths and we will stand beside each other whenever we will need help. I will soon meet you again, to offer you my companionship in future, and if you agreed, I would like to take you with me as a family." Ash told the pair telepathically as he smiled and patted them. The siblings nuzzled him as they leaned into the loving touch if their creator and lord. They really looked forward to time when their Lord will take them in as a family and they will definitely wait for the destiny to act for them.
With a huge smile, the travelling pair left them all the while waving them goodbyes.
The plans for further travels were being made and the next destination for them was the Camaron palace in Rota Kingdom.
Ash didn't know why, but he could feel butterflies dancing in his stomach at the thought of visiting Rota. Well some things were to be left on the fates only, Ash thought with a smile.
The journey was if three days and it took them quite some time to reach Rota. But by the time they reached there, Ash was jumping up and down in excitement. After all he would be getting a new partner for his future.
The place where they were staying, Ash could be seen running around with Mewtwo and Celebi, while the Pokemons played with him happily.
Charmander, Scyther and Dratini were still with professor Oak and Ash couldn't help but feel happy for their safety. Ash had already promised them that they would meet soon and he was surely excited for the time to come.
Since the time Ash stepped foot in Rota Kingdom, a strange occurance was happening in the palace of Cameron. The staff, which belonged to sir Aaron, was flickering and blinking as if giving some message. The Queen, Queen Ilene, was quite worried about this new development and wasn't sure why this was happening.
"What could have caused this flickering?" Queen thought to herself as she looked at the glowing staff.
Soon, an elder man entered the room and moved to the Queen.
"Your highness." The man bowed.
"Liam, you are the most wise advisor of my court. Your advice has helped us in many difficult times. Surely you wold having an answer for this unusual account?" The Queen asked.
"I am sorry to say my lady, but this incident is even past my boundaries. I, myself, am not able to guess or find the answers to this flickering." Liam replied.
"But we need to find out soon." The queen said instead and left along with his most trusted advisor.
As soon as the queen left, a little girl, who might be about 5 years old, entered the room.
Moving her hand over the staff, she smiled lightly.
"Something which you craved for so long is going to be fulfilled. You will regain your freedom and that is why you are acting like this. Aren't you?" The little girl asked, as her bright green eyes shined with mirth and happiness.
"I pray to the lords, to give you what you desire the most." She said giving a little bow, before exiting.
On the other hand, Ash stood at the balcony looking at the palace as he looked at another problem that was standing infront of him.
"How am I supposed to enter the palace?" Ash thought to himself as he tried to find a way. Suddenly he heard his mother's call.
"Ash, Sweetheart, the palace is holding a festival tonight. It is something related to spring and the invitation is extended to everyone. There will be many plays as wells as other activities. Do you wish to attend it?" She asked showing him the pamphlet.
Ash barely concealed his smirk.
"Without a doubt mom." Was his reply.
