“Harry! Who’s the mystery girl?”

“Who are you dating Harry?”

“Are you dating French model Anna de Leon?”

“Are you banging a married woman Harold?”

“Harry! Harry! Harry! Is your secret girlfriend your best friend Jenna?”

“Are you back together with Caroline Flack? Sources say you were seen leaving her apartment recently!”

“What about Cara, Harry? Did you dump her for the new girl?”

That was all I heard being shouted at me as I made my way to the van. Since the show was live, everyone went crazy the moment the words left my mouth, and it caused the paparazzi to go into a frenzy and mob me. Paul and Andy were doing the best they could, but the media were relentless, and would do anything to get the story they wanted. Thankfully the crew left before us, so Jenna was safe. As much as I wanted to have her with me, to protect her, I couldn’t. We hadn’t talked as yet and that would basically scream out that we were together, and I wanted to do that, but I didn’t know if she did.

I finally got into the van with the boys, and we zipped off to the hotel. I didn’t really feel like talking to anyone, so I pulled my earphones out and plugged them into my iPhone and put my music on shuffle. The first song that came on was a Coldplay song, The Scientist, which I loved. It had absolutely no link to the situation, but I loved it nonetheless. I closed my eyes and leaned against the seat, hoping the boys wouldn’t say anything and that Paul would leave me alone.

For some reason, my wish came true and no one spoke to me all the way to the hotel, and the voices of Chris Martin and John Lennon were allowed to flow through my head undisturbed. When we arrived at the hotel, the screams of girls were heard and I blindly walked through the crowd with the bodyguards and made my way back up to Jenna’s room, mentally praying that her roommate wouldn’t be there.

I reached the room, and it was immediately opened by her roommate, who screamed that she was heading out and would be back later the moment she saw me. That left Jenna and I alone, and I entered the room, closing the door behind me. I saw her blankly stirring a bowl of cereal in the kitchen, not noticing I was there.

“Hey love,” I said, coming up from behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist and pressing a chaste kiss to the side of her face.

Jenna jumped a bit, startled, but seemed to realize that it was me and loosened up. She turned around in my arms and looked at me, and I knew we were going to have a serious conversation.

“We should sit down.” She said softly, pulling away from me, and walking toward the couch.

I followed after her, and sat down beside her, turning slightly to face her. This was it. What I was so worried to hear.

“We really need to figure out what we’re going to tell everyone.”  Jenna said.

“What do you want me to say?” I asked, knowing I’d do whatever she wanted.

“I don’t know.”

“I need to know something Jenna! I can’t keep with not saying anything, it doesn’t work that way!” I said, waving my hands.

“How the hell does it work then Harry? Huh? Explain that to me.” She shouted, “I’m confused! Okay! I want to tell the entire world that we’re together, because I love you, but then there’s another part of me that isn’t ready for what people will say.”

“We can’t keep delaying it. We need to figure this out right now.”

“What do you think we should do?” she asked, calming down a bit.

“I want to tell the world that your mine and I’m yours.  I don’t want to hide that.” I said, resting my arms on my legs.

“I don’t want to either.” Jenna smiled, staring at me.

“So are we going to introduce you again, as my girlfriend?”

“Yes.” Jenna’s smile brightened, but then faltered.

“What’s wrong?” I asked worriedly.

“It’s going to get a lot worse, isn’t it?”

“What?”

“The hate. The judgment. Everything.”

“Don’t listen to them. You’re perfect.” I said, pulling her against me.

Jenna rested her head on my chest, snuggling closer to me. I felt at peace like this, though it pained me when I thought about the things she’d have to put up with; the hate, and also saying she was ruining ‘Larry Stylinson’. Eleanor got that sort of stuff on a daily basis, and sometimes Louis told me how she cried to him about it because some of the things said were so ignorant and cruel.  I didn’t want to put Jenna through that, I didn’t want to ever hear her cry, but I didn’t want to have to sneak around with her either. I loved her and I just wanted to tell the world that she was mine.

“When are we going to tell everyone?” Jenna asked, playing with the top button of my shirt.

“We have a big pre-recorded television interview at this place called Much Music in Toronto; I can reveal then.” I said, after thinking for a moment, “That gives us about a week until hell breaks loose.”

Jenna chuckled, and I smiled at the sound of her laugh. It was so melodic and I loved it. I was expecting her to be angrier, for some reason, but then again Jenna didn’t always show exactly what she was thinking in her emotions; she just smiled like everything was all right, though I sometimes knew that it wasn’t real. I didn’t want to push her too much, but I was going to talk to her soon; when we had unlimited time and there was no possible interruptions.

“So,” Jenna said, standing up, “How about we make some food?”

I smiled. I loved cooking, and she knew that, “Up to my room we go!”

I am so so so so sorry for not updating last week! I have been super busy with school, and it is my priority, so I had to put writing on hold for a couple days while I worried about midterms. But, here’s the chapter! I know it isn’t up to par. Jenna and Harry haven’t been dating long yet, not even a week yet! I want to wait for at least a week or two until they have a major argument.

Q: What do you think about X Factor USA and UK so far? Were you shocked by Ella and James on UK last week? How about Arin, Jennel, and Beatrice on XF USA?

A: I was so angry. I don’t understand how the hell Rylan and Christopher are still in the competition. Christopher just plain can’t sing and he’s boring. He’ll never make it in the industry. That’s the truth. Rylan is entertaining. I have to admit that, even though I don’t like him very much vocally. But the fact that Ella has gone home while those two are still in the competition is just shocking. I always thought that it would be Ella and James in the finals, no doubt about it.
