Napahampas ako sa tubig nang makita ang resulta ng swim.
I can't believe it...
I won!!
Niyakap ako nila France pagkaahon ko. I was surprised from their sudden hug. Halos bumagsak na kasi ako sa pagdamba nila. And mind you, they're three persons hugging a single me. Good thing I'm strong enough to take them.
Kinalas din nila ang pagkakayakap sa akin at isa-isang nag-congratulate. They are all happy for me.
"Ang galing mo dun, bes!!! We're so proud of you!!! " tili nito at akmang yayakapin ulit ako ngunit tumanggi kaagad ako.
"Basa ako, France. Baka magkasakit ka. "
"Sus! Nagiging caring si bebe Thea. Yiieee lab you na, bes." pagbibiro pa nito.
Tinawanan ko na lang sila at naglakad na papuntang shower room.
Everyone is on smiles. Nakangiti itong lahat at nagchi-cheer sa akin. Especially, my school mates.
Napuno ang gym ng mga tao. Halo-halo sila, may taga-ibang school at media. This is the last tournament kaya siguro lahat talaga ay dumalo. Plus... Hindi lang mga lalaki ang nagko-compete. Kami ring mga babae. And i could say that many of those competitors look good. Kaya rin siguro dinumog.
Dinumog ako ng mga reporters at media. Ano bang meron? It's not like ako ang unang nanalo ng gold medal. Bakit ganyan sila maka-react?
"Ms. Valdez, you are freaking hot. And now you won a gold medal. Anong masasabi mo sa mga aspiring swimmer na kagaya mo? " ay, meganon?!
Pilit akong ngumiti sa camera. I don't really like being on the spot light, you know.
"Continue on pursuing your dreams. No matter how hard it is, if you really love it, then go for it. " i said with a bit confidence. Bit lang talaga, dahil nahihiya na ako ngayon.
I'm just wearing my freaking swimming attire and it's showing my built. Nakakahiya! Para kong nagpa-pass 'n show ng katawan!! Kainin mo na ko lupa!
"Eh para dun sa mga admirers mo? Alam mo bang viral ka sa facebook ngayon, because of your video greeting on your friend's birthday? " whaat!? Kumalat yun!? Bad trip na social media!
Napatagilid ang ngiti ko. I'm freaking viral?! "I didn't know that it was on the facebook..." yun lamang ang nasabi ko.
"Well it is, Ms. Valdez. Do you mind if i ask you? "
You're already asking... I wanted to say but i didn't. "Sure. " cool kong saad rito.
"May relasyon ba kayo ng bachelor na si Jason Gomez? "
Para naman akong naubo sa tinanong niya. Pero hindi ko masyado pinahalata. "Jason Gomez? Yung judge nung sa tournament in Cavite?" pagsisiguro ko pa. Mamaya, nag-aassume lang ako eh. Mabuti na ang sigurado.
"Yup. "
"Nothing. I actually don't know him before. Tyaka ko lang ito nakilala nung sa tournament. " i honestly said.
"Meaning to say... Walang namamagitan sa inyo? "
Umiling na lamang ako bilang tugon.
I saw our coach coming on his way to me. Sumenyas ako sa kaniya na paalisin niya na ang media sa harapan ko. I need to go. I'm tired...
Tumango ito at lumapit na sa akin. Inakbayan ako nito at inaasahan kong ie-excuse niya na ako. Ngunit taliwas sa aking inaakala ang kaniyang ginawa.
"Any other questions? " seriously? The f*ck!?
"What's the real score between you and B Corp. Heir, Mr. Drake Bertulfo? "
Doon ako napatigil. I also have an issue with him? Seriously? Mukha kong two timer, dahil sa dala-dalawang lalaking nali-link sa akin.
"We're.... School mates. " i answered and made my way out.
Hahabulin sana nila ako pero pinigilan sila ni Blake. Buti pa siya. Kaysa dun sa coach namin na pa-fame. Bad trip siya!! ~_~
Dumiretsyo ako sa kotse ko. Good thing, i have my own. Ngayon ko lang to nakuha. So I'm very protective when it comes to Marlon. I don't wanna see any scratches on his body. Patay sa kin ang gagawa nun.
By the way, Marlon is my car. I named him. Funny, right? But i just like naming it. Nakakatuwa kasing pakinggan. Next time, maybe I'll name my motorcycle? But kidding... Hindi yata ako pagbibigyan nila Daddy pag ganun ang hiningi ko. They'll think it's dangerous for a woman like me.

Time to go to Trinidad Restau. Let's go baby Marlon, we'll gonna see my love. And yes... Sasagutin ko siya ng yes. I'll give our relationship an another chance. Gusto kong sumaya. And i know that i could only find it with him.

Shit! May biglang dumiretsyong kotse sa harap ko at mabilis kong iniliko ang sasakyan ko. Umikot ito na parang nawala sa ayos. Bumalik ito sa dati kong dinaanan. I was about to hit the tree but i pulled the brake. Shit! Ayaw tumigil!!

---DRAKE'S-POV---
YES! I'm freaking excited. Kahit na hindi pa sinasabi ni Thea ang sagot niya sa kin. I know for myself that she'll say yes. The way she kissed me back, her smiles and of course, her possessiveness, i know that she's definitely mine. And i can't wait to shout it in the whole new world. Darn! Kalalaki kong tao, sobra kong kiligin.
"Drake..." biglang saad ng nasa likod ko.
Napatingin ako rito at napatigil ako sa kasiyahan ng makita ko kung sino ang dumating. What the f*ck is she doing here?! Sinisira nya lang ang araw ko.
Umupo ito sa harap ko nang may mga ngiti sa kaniyang labi. That's supposed to be Thea's chair! Kung hindi lang siya babae, kanina ko pa siguro ito nasuntok. She's ruining my mood.
"Why are you here? " malamig kong sabi.
Ngumiti itong muli at akmang hahawakan ang braso ko ngunit nakaiwas agad ako. Thank god. Baka patayin ako ni Thea pag nakita niya to. "I'm here to date you. Thea wants me to be here. Binibigay ka niya na sa kin, Drake. "
Muntik na kong humagalpak ng tawa sa sinabi niya. That's just too impossible. Halos magpatayan na sila sa mall tas bigla-bigla niya na lang akong ibibigay sa kaniya? No freaking way. My girl is not that stupid. Mas matalino pa nga ito sa akin eh.
Napangisi ako sa sinabi niya. So stupid. Nagawa pa niyang kiligin kahit na sarcastic akong nakatingin sa kaniya.

Nanigas ito sa kinauupuan niya at napayuko. Nakangiti na ito ng itaas niya ang ulo niya. Did she gone crazy? Ang bilis niya magbago ng ekspresiyon. Mom's taste in girls isn't really good. Remember, she wants me to date her but i didn't? And then Thea got to call me 'love' for the first time? Geesh! It's so memorable.
"Fine. She didn't. But Drake, hindi ba pwedeng akin ka na lang? May past tayo, can't we just turn it back? Sa kin ka na lang ulit, babe. Please?"
She looks disgusting. Anong past? Wala naman kami nun. And the way she said it, i don't like it. In the first place, i was never hers. Why is she so delusional?
"I was never yours, Yna. Why do keep insisting? " iritado na ang boses ko. Pagod pa ko dahil sa flight ko, but i really want to see my love. And this girl is hitting my nerves.

I answered the call instead of hearing Yna's lines. I really hate her. She's too bratty for an ex-mistress of a mayor. Yes, i know it. Kaya nga ayaw ko sa kaniya eh.

Binaba din nito ang tawag. What happened to her?! Shit!
