Sam's pov
I woke up on top of Colby and he was still asleep I got off slowly and got out of bed I went to my bag and grabbed some clothes and went in the shower I got out and put on short shorts and a hoodie I walked in the room and Colby is still asleep so since I'm not in little space I decided to make some breakfast. I went in the kitchen and decided to make some french toast but I fed Stormy first and then I started. Finally I finished and plated them with some strawberries on top and I walked in the room with the plates and set them on the bedside table and I went back in the kitchen and grabbed two cups and put orange juice in them and walked back into the room "Colbs wake up" I shook him "Colbs" I shook him again and he groaned "Colbs get up" "whyy" he groaned "I made breakfast now get up" he sat up and rubbed his eyes and I handed him his plate "thanks" "yep" and I walked to my side and grabbed my plate and sat next to him "are you not in little space" "no" "aww I like it when you are" "no you don't I'm too much and annoying" "hey no your not" "yeah I am" "if I didn't like you when your a little do you really think I would have asked you to be your caregiver" "you only did it to be nice" "no I did it because I like it your cute when your a little and I wouldn't change anything about you" "ok I'm sorry" "it's ok" I smiled "ok try the food now" he chuckled and tried it "this is actually really good" "thank you"
We finished eating and we are cuddling on the couch and I haven't gone into little space yet "do you want to go to the park" Colby asked "yeah" "do you want to take stormy" I looked at him "umm no he's sleeping right now" "ok c'mon" he got up and put his shoes on and grabbed his skate board I put shoes on and grabbed my bag and we left. We are walking and we are almost there "hey Sammy" I hummed in response "when are you going to tell them" I sighed "I don't know I'm not comfortable with them and don't know them too much" "well why don't you get to know them better" I sighed "why do you want them to know so bad" "so when we come here you can be yourself and not hide who you really are when their here too" I sighed "but-" i groaned in frustration "Sammy it's ok you don't have to tell them I won't make you can you at least get to know them better" "sure" we walked to the bench and Jake was here "hey guys" "hi" "hey" they started skating and I watched for a bit and I got bored so I got up and went to the tree and laid down and watched the sky
Colby's pov
I was skating and I seen Sam get up and leave I was going to stop him but he just went to the tree and watched the sky so I left him. "Hey Colby" "yeah Jake" I averted my eyes to him "what's up with you and him you seem really close" we walked to the bench and sat down "oh I- we're dating" I stopped myself from telling him I'm his caregiver "dude really when did that happen" I chuckled "we've been dating for a while Jake" "why didn't you tell me" "sorry I forgot" "it's ok" we went silent for a moment "he looks sad" Jake said I sighed "he just has something on his mind" "oh do you know what it is" "yeah" "well is it bad" "no he just kind of stressed about it" "oh w-" "hi Jakey!" We looked over and seen Tara and her dog "hi Tara" he got up and hugged her "hey Colby!" I chuckled "hi Tara" "is Sam here" "yeah he's over by the tree" "oh ok is he ok" "yeah he's just a little stressed" "oh what about" "that I can't tell you" "I thought you knew why" Jake said "I do.." I sighed "it's just, nevermind I'm going to check up on him" "are you ok" "yeah I'm ok" they nodded and I walked over to Sam and laid down next to him "what's up" he jumped "geez you scared me" I chuckled "sorry" we went silent "what are you thinking about" I asked "nothing.." he trailed off "Sam what is it" "it's just I don't know if I should tell them I'd like too but I feel like I shouldn't and I don't really know what to do" he sighed "take your time untill your ready and if they find out how I did just tell them the truth either way I'll be with you every step of the way but just know they won't make fun of you" he sighed "that's the thing you say they won't make fun of you but they probably will" I looked at him confused "what do you mean" he started to tear up so I sat up against the tree "c'mere" I opened my arms he sat next to me and fell in them "what do you mean by that"
Sam's pov
"They won't make fun of you" I sighed "that's the thing they will, you think they won't but then they will" he looked at me "what do you mean" he sat up and I did as well and I teared up "c'mere" he opened his arms and I fell in them "tell me what you mean" "well.."
Flashback
I ran to the park after I've been yelled at for not doing the dishes I fell into little space and I couldn't take it anymore so I ran there and cried and when I got there my only friend was there and seen me so he came up to me "hey what's wrong" "nofing" "Sam what was that?" I cried harder "hey hey I won't judge I promise" "pwomise" he nodded and stuck his pinky out I giggled and hooked mine with his "now tell me what's up" "well I umm" "don't worry take your time" I took a deep breath "pwease don tell anyone" "I won't your worrying me Sam what's wrong" I took a deep breath "I-im a a umm wittle" "a little your joking right" "n-no" I started to tear up more "that's disgusting" "w-what?" "Your disgusting I can't be with you anymore" "n-no pwease don't weave I-im s-sowwy" "fucking brat" he got up and started "n-no p-please b-brennen pwease d-dont gwo I-im sowwy" he chuckled dryly "your a fucking disgrace no wonder your parents hate you" "w-what?" "You damn well know what I mean your a total fuck up you fucking crossdress your fucking gay and now I get it your a fucking cry baby" "n-no how d-id" I started to cry harder "how did I what find out your gay fucking look at you and who fucking dresses in girl clothes if their not a girl or gay" "pwease b-brennen" "what fag" I cried harder "d-don tell a-anyone" he chuckled dryly again "you fucking wish" I cried harder "n-no" my phone went off I looked at it and it was a message from Brennen saying I'm gay and Im a little "w-why" he chuckled "the whole school knows now fag" "w-woo pwomised" "promises are made to be broken" "n-no" "y-yes" he mocked and I cried harder "later cry baby" he said harshly and left me alone at the tree and little did I know it was going to be worse then losing my best friend

Colby's pov
I pulled him into my chest "Oh Sammy I'm so sorry" he was crying now "wait wasn't Brennen your bully" he nodded and let out a sob "I'm so sorry" "h-he-he l-lie-li-" he cut himself off with a sob "I know Sammy shh it's ok your ok breathe" he took a deep breath but he only let out a broken sob after "baby listen to my heart beat and try and fix your breathing ok baby" he nodded and his breathing evened I rubbed his back "are you ok baby" "mhm" I chuckled and he looked up and glared at me and looked away looks like little Sam is back I thought I chuckled again and he glared at me again I raised my hands in surrender "it wasn't me I swear" he giggled and hugged me tightly I hugged back and kissed his head "I love you baby" "I love woo too daddy" he pulled away and I cupped his cheeks and wiped his tears and kissed his nose which he giggled at "lets go back by Jake and Tara" "but daddy" I chuckled "I know I know then stay here and lay down again and I'll just tell them you want to be alone yeah" he sighed "otay" I smiled and kissed his forehead and got up "bye bye daddy" I chuckled "bye baby"
I walked back to the bench and Jake was skating and Tara was playing with her dog "hey Colby" "hi Tara" "is he ok I seen him crying" "yeah he just got overwhelmed" "ok you guys are cute by the way" I smiled "thanks" "yo Colby" Jake said walking up to me I looked up at him "want to go to a party tonight" "who's house" "Corey's it's for Devyn birthday" "oh um maybe" "c'mon please" "dude I don't know" "dude it won't be that big you'll know most of the people there they're from school and a bit of Eltons friends from his old school" "I don't know dude" I glanced at Sam "dude you can bring him please come" "you know he doesn't like them" he sighed "then don't bring him near them or at least work things out" "i-" "hey guys!" We looked over and seen Corey and everyone else "hi" "hi dev!!" Tara yelled and they went to talk "so Colby you coming" Corey asked "I don't know dude" "come on please" "Corey I tried he won't go" "why not" I sighed "it's because of Sam" Jake said "dude there's a reason why we did that" Elton said "yeah we didn't want to we were forced" Aaron said I looked at them confused they sighed "so we know his secret and I don't know if you guys do but when we figured out we wanted to be friends with him because he had no friends and he seemed really nice and that's a dumb reason to leave him alone so when we went to talk to him we got stopped by Brennen and he forced us to bully him he threatened to hurt our families if we didn't" Elton explained I sighed "dude do you not believe us" Corey asked "look I do but what he told me but why did you have to actually beat him why didn't you do what Devyn did" "what do you mean" I sighed "what I mean is that you guys actually hit him and went all out and what Devyn did is just call him names but he was already used to them and those didn't hurt him and she also told you guys to stop why didn't you do that" they sighed "dude.." Corey trailed off I sighed "I'm sorry guys I can't go" "please dude we're sorry we never thought about doing that" "don't tell me that tell Sam" they sighed "nevermind he doesn't trust any of you except Devyn because shes the one who didn't actually abuse him but he still doesn't trust her" I walked away "Colby wait" I ignored them and grabbed my skateboard and walked up to Sam
"Hi daddy" I smiled half heartedly "hi baby" I sighed "are woo otay" "yeah I'm fine" "daddy tell mwe" I sat down "well I was invited to a party a-" "oooo I wike parties!" He started to wiggle weirdly and sway his head I chuckled and sighed after "baby" I trailed off he stopped and looked at me "I said I wouldn't go" "why" He said sounding a little upset i sighed "I'm sorry baby I said no because it was at Corey's and they were going to be there and Jake said not to go by them but then they all showed up and we started talking about it and" I paused "and what" i sighed "we started talking about you about how they bullied you and why they did it they explained everything and said sorry but I told them to tell you they were going to say something after I said that but I just walked away" he sighed "what did dey say" "baby it's not my place to say let them explain it to you" "no" I sighed "can we atweast gwo to the party" "do you want to" he nodded "if woo by mwe all the time" "ok baby" "so we can!" I chuckled "yes baby" "yay!" He started to wiggle again I chuckled "let's go tell them" I got up and held my hand out and he took it we started to walk over but he stopped "daddy" "what baby" he whimpered and I sighed "baby you don't have to say anything and just stay by me" he whined again "hold my hand the whole time" "but dey d-" "yes they do baby I told them earlier well just Jake and Tara but it's ok" "o-otay" we continued walking "hey guys" jake said "hi" I said he walked up to us "so ar-" he stopped when he heard Sam whine I looked up and seen Corey coming and I looked backed down at him "baby your ok" he slowly nodded and held my hand tighter "hey Colby" "hi" "so are you coming" I looked down at Sam "are you sure" he looked up at me and smiled "yeah?" He nodded I looked back up at them "yeah we're going" "yeahh!!" Corey yelled I chuckled "when is it" "tonight at 10" "alrig-" Sam held my had tighter and then I seen Elton and Aaron I put my arm around his waist "hey guys!" Aaron said "dude are you coming" Elton asked "yeah" "yesss!!!" Devyn and Tara came up "what are you guys yelling about" Devyn asked "umm nothing baby" Corey said I chuckled "ok" she said a little suspicious Sam let out a giggle and we all looked at him to see him sat down on the floor and pet sugar and I ruffled his hair and he giggles again "aww" Devyn cooed which made Sam look up and then looks at me wide eyed and I chuckle a bit he glared at me and continued petting sugar and I chuckle again which made him glare again and I put my hands up "it was Jake!" "Hey! I didn't do anything!" Sam giggled again and yawns "c'mon let's go home" I hold my hand out for him and he takes it "wait what about the party you can't be tired" Jake said I chuckled "relax Jake it's only 3" "ohh right" "what party" Devyn asked "good luck bye guys" I said and walked away with Sam we went to the tree and I grabbed my skateboard and then we headed home
We walked inside and Stormy ran up to us making Sam giggle and he sits down and pets him I smile I walked into the kitchen to get some water I turn around and Sam makes grabby hands I chuckle and pick him up he clings into me tiredly and yawn "let's get you to bed yeah" "mhm" I chuckled and lay him in bed "lay wif me" I smile and get into bed with him and he cuddled into me "I love you baby" "I love woo too daddy" and he falls asleep almost instantly I start getting tired myself so I put an alarm on before 10 and I fall asleep
