Hyuri's POV
As I finished arranging my things, I quickly went to the parking lot where Rowoon is waiting for me. I took my phone out and smiled as I saw my wallpaper. Why am I getting crazy over you Han Jisung?
"Hi" someone greeted beside me
I looked and saw Chani "Why are you here? Are you also studying here?"
"Yes, but in a different building" Chani smiled
"Really? But you are wearing a different uniform last time. What happened?"
"That was my friend's uniform. I was just amazed by it and wore it the whole day" Chani
"But why aren't we meeting here when you are also studying here?"
"It's because we are both busy and you didn't asked if I am studying here or not" Chani
"Are you going home? You should go with me. Rowoon will drive me-"
"Rowoon will?" Chani
"Yup, do you know him?"
"Who doesn't? He is a varsity player, isn't he?" Chani
"Yeah, he is"
"I need to go" Chani
"Hyuri!" Rhain shouted while running towards me "Why are you walking so fast? I called you a thousand times"
"I was talking to-" I stopped when Chani wasn't there anymore "Where is he?"
"Who?" Rhain
"My friend. He is here"
"Maybe he left?" Rhain
"I think so"
"Are you walking home? If you are, I can drive you to your home" Rhain
"Nope, Rowoon oppa will drive me home. You can go home"
"Why him? Where is your brother?" Rhain
"He is busy, so he asked Rowoon"
"Ah, I see. I'll see you tomorrow" Rhain smiled as she went to her car
I smiled as I saw Rowoon "Sorry"
"No, it's okay" Rowoon said and opened the door for me
"Thanks" I quickly got in, Rowoon did the same and started driving
I rest my head on the car's head rest as I received a call from my Mom.
Mom calling...
"Mom"
[I won't go home for days. I need to finish my works]
"When are you going home?"
[I still don't know but I'll finish this as fast I can. Who knows? Maybe I can go home tomorrow]
"Mom-"
[I'll go home tomorrow, sweetie. Of course I won't forget your birthday. I love you!]
"I thought you did. I love you too"
[Hmm, are you sad? Don't be. It'll be the best birthday]
"Thank you, Mom"
[But there's no ferrari]
"It's okay. Just go home tomorrow"
[I will. I need to go now]
"Take care" I said as she ended the call
I saw some missed calls from my Dad. Is he calling to greet me? I'm glad. I thought he forgot.
Dad calling...
"Dad, I am sorry. I-"
[Your line is busy. You are talking to someone, aren't you?]
"Yes, it was Mom"
[Why?]
"What do you mean? She called me because she wants to tell me she will go home right after work tomorrow"
[Wow. Pretending to be the best mother]
"Dad, stop, will you?"
[And you are defending her?]
"I am not. I was just telling you to stop insulting her. Do you think it's right to do that?"
[Whatever. I'll hang up now. I'll just send you some money for tomorrow]
"Money? For what?"
[So you can have the best birthday celebration. Don't you ever eat anything with them]
"Thanks but no. You can keep your money. I love you, bye" I ended the call and turned off my phone
"Your Mom and Dad?" Rowoon asked
"Yup, they called"
"I see, you have a little arguement with your Dad" Rowoon
"Hmm, it's always like that"
"Why? I thought you are close to him?" Rowoon
"I am but it's not like an ordinary father and daughter relationship. Every special occassion, he will give me money or anything I want. That's it"
"We're here" Rowoon said as he parked the car
"Thanks"
"Are you free tonight? Maybe after dinner?" Rowoon
Nope.
"No, I need to go somewhere"
"Oh, okay. Can I have your number?" Rowoon
"Sure" I quickly typed my number on his phone and saved it "I'll go now"
I got out of the car and entered the house. I saw Taeyang, Jaeyoon and Dawon pretending to be busy when I just saw them at the window peaking.
"So, how's your day?" Dawon
"It's okay. My friends and I were together all day"
"Rowoon didn't talked to you?" Jaeyoon
"I thought he did?" Taeyang asked Dawon
"Yes, coach said Rowoon is talking with Hyuri when he ended the call earlier" Dawon
"So, Rowoon was right? You all planned it? From picking me up here, telling he was injured, excusing him to his first two teachers so we can talk, eating together and driving home?"
"They planned?" Taeyang asked
"Oppa, I'm not stupid enough. I know you are one of them. So, explain why the three of you planned"
"It wasn't me" Dawon
"Not me also. I just heard it from Jaeyoon" Taeyang
"Why me?! It's not my plan. It was Zuho's plan. He said Rowoon likes you and he came up with a plan so you two can talk" Jaeyoon
"Rowoon likes me?"
"You didn't know?" Dawon
"He didn't tell you?" Taeyang
"Isn't it obvious? He didn't"
"You are dead" Dawon told Jaeyoon
"So, what? He will confess anyways. We just told Hyuri first before he did. You can just pretend that you don't know, right?" Jaeyoon
"Whatever. I'll just buy something at the store. What do you guys want?"
"Nothing" the three of them said
I took off my bag and got out of the house. I lied. I am just going to the playground. I want to see Jisung. Maybe I kinda miss- No. I mean I just want to ask if he is free tomorrow. It was my birthday. As I arrived at the playground, there's no Jisung but only their friend.
