Rappa stood up with his body stained in blood. He saw Yozora standing up, but the boy had a bit of trouble to keep still. The man chuckled as he saw this happening.
"We'll finally settle this. But i won't admit defeat so easily."
Rappa soon wraps his arms around a tree and lifts it off the ground. Soon he swings the tree at Yozora. Seeing this, the boy jumped into the air, however Rappa suddenly threw the tree at him.
"Breath of the Moon, Fourteenth Form:Catastrophe - Tenman Crescent Moon."
Yozora swings his sword and creates a chaotic vortex of powerful omni-directional slashes that destroys whatever is caught up within its attack radius. The tree that Rappa threw was sliced apart. However, as Rappa was being sliced by Yozora's attack, he jumped on the pieces of the tree that were sliced.
Soon he reached Yozora and punched him back down to the ground. As Yozora looks up, he saw Rappa falling towards him with his fist extended. Yozora quickly dashed to the left and dodged Rappa's punch. As he looked at Rappa, he saw that underneath his fist was a huge crater.
"Yozora Tsugikuni, this fight is not over."
"I couldn't agree more!!!!"
Yozora charged forward as he held his blade tightly. Rappa lunged forward as he prepares to launch another barrage of punches at the boy.
"Shigure Soen Ryu, Tenth Form:Clash of Swallow!"
Yozora was coated by large amounts of water as he charged at Rappa with great speed and power. Rappa soon stood his ground as he happily smiled.
As Yozora swung his blade, Rappa threw his fist as both of their attacks collided.
Dust fills the air, the earth beneath them started to shatter. As the dust clears, Rappa is seen with a blade in his chest. Meanwhile, Rappa's fist had collided with Yozora's face. Yet the two of them didn't seem done even for a moment.
"Yozora!!!!!!"
"Rappa!!!!!!"
The two of them charged at each other with immense speed. Rappa unleashed another storm of punches and Yozora was ready to counterattack.
"Shigure Soen Ryu, Eleventh Form:Swallow's Beak!!!"
Yozora rapidly thrusts his sword numerous times towards Rappa, like a flock of attacking swallows. Rappa's barrage of punches collided with Yozora's numerous sword thrusts. As the man felt his hand being stabbed by Yozora's blade, he ignored the pain just to fight the boy a little longer.
"Shigure Soen Ryu, Third Form:Last Minute Rain!"
Suddenly Yozora drops his sword, kicking the base of the hilt with his foot to send it propelling towards Rappa. Rappa was caught up in the momentum of his punches so he couldn't block or dodge the attack. Soon Rappa felt the sword being impaled to his chest.
Soon Yozora lunged forward and punched the hilt of his sword, causing it to reach further into Rappa's chest. As the man looked at Yozora, he hooks both of his hands together and slams them onto Yozora's back. Afterwards he kicked Yozora away from him, so the boy couldn't retrieve his sword.
Rappa removes the sword from his chest and stabbed it into the ground right next to him. He looks over at Yozora, who is seen standing back up. As Rappa was severely injured, he stands up even though his entire body is stained with his own blood.
"Yozora Tsugikuni, this battle.....this moment....i've never felt so alive. This is how a battle should be. More....more....i don't want this fight to end! I want to keep fighting you until my thirst for battle is at its limit!!!! COME, YOZORA TSUGIKUNI!!!!"
Yozora looked at Rappa. The cold look on his face softens a bit. Soon Yozora found himself laughing. Rappa soon joins Yozora in this moment of laughter.
"It's weird Rappa. I understand your feelings. To be honest, i can't understand why? We're both enemies, yet i don't hate you. In fact, i think this is the most fun i've had."
"So the wannabe hero finally learned the joy of being selfish for once. Well kid, as you said, all good things must come to an end. So let's go wild and let our instincts go on a rampage!"
Soon the two fighters charged at each other with all their strength. Rappa prepares to throw another barrage of punches and Yozora seems to be reaching for something inside his haori. As this all happens, he began to remember the words of a certain swordsmith.
"If you ever doubt yourself just remember this phrase. I use to say it to myself whenever i needed to draw more strength for myself when i need it most. My body........"
Rappa starts to unleash a barrage of punches. Yozora endured the pain and kept charging forward. As he got closer and closer, he saw that Rappa's body started to look transparent. Soon Yozora began to dodge one punch after another. As he got close enough to Rappa's chest he said one thing as he grabs the items he concealed in his haori.
"My body is made of blades."
Suddenly Rappa stopped punching. He felt nothing but a sharp pain. As he looked down, he saw that he was slashed across his chest twice. When he turned around and looked at Yozora, he was surpirsed. In his hands were a pair of twin swords. In Rappa's opinion, the swords looked beautiful.
"So.......it's my loss, huh."
Rappa fell to the ground. As he was losing blood, he saw Yozora hiding his twin blades inside of his haori. Soon Yozora picked up his nichirin sword as he puts it back in its sheath.
As Yozora looked at Rappa, he walks towards the man. He puts Rappa's arm over his shoulder and carries him into the hideout with him.
"Hey Rappa, is there a room in this hideout where your wounds can be treated?"
"Yeah. But why would you do this? I lost, remember?"
"What are you talking about? That fight was another draw. You said that in a battle to the death, the loser is the one who dies. Last time i checked, you're still breathing. Besides, you looked like you were having fun during that fight."
As Rappa's eyes widened for a moment, he soon lets out a chuckle. As he gave Yozora instructions on where to go, he silently said one thing about the boy he just fought.
"So even in a situation like this, you still want to save someone."
