tw: homophobic dad near the end
the last day of school, it's break time and everyone's gathered in the courtyard talking. Alya and marinette are sitting on the steps, "girl you've been waiting to long just talk to him!" Marinette sighs " I know Alya, I think today I will really tell him how I feel" they get up and walk toward nino and adrien. Marinette taps adriens shoulder "hey adrien can I talk to you really quick..... in private?" Adrien nods "yeah sure! I'll talk to you later nino" "later dude!" Nino uses finger guns as alya waves goodbye.
Standing under the stairs Marinette is slightly freaking out okay Marinette you got this! Taking a deep breath "adrienwhenifirstmeetyouiknewilikedyouandthatlikespreadintolove" adrien looked confused "wow okay um calm down and say that again but a little slower" Marinette takes another deep breath "adrien i...... I l-love you"
Adrien face turned to into confused, shocked and in awe "I-wow I really like you too would you want to go on a date?" Marinette smiles "yeah! I mean yes of course" both blushing they plan on going to Andre's after school. Ayla and nino are freaking out in the background
*after school*
Marinette and adrien arrive at andre's and get their ice cream, while eating on the bridge and talking when rose and Juleka arrive with luka in tow, they get ice cream and luka gets his. They all sit down at a table and as they do adrien can't help but stare at luka, the way the evening sun hits his face making his smile seem that much brighter.
Adrien POV
Wow I never noticed how handsome luka really is till now "uh adrien are you okay?" Marinette is waving her hand in my face "oh right sorry Marinette I zoned out there" I laugh and she chuckles
Lukas POV
Rose and Juleka wanted to go on a date and saw that I had nothing to do so they dragged me along, how nice I get to third wheel on my little sis's date. We get there and I get my ice cream from andre and sit down when I look across I see Marinette and adrien at the opposite table hm... I honestly can't take anymore of my sisters lovey dovey side so I get up and go to their table "hey guys, can I sit here? My sister and rose are on a date and I honestly feel akward third wheeling" I scratch the back of my head. Marinette nervously chuckles "oh yeah well I don't think you'd be any better over here, haha me and adrien are kinda on a-" "yeah sure you can sit with us!" Adrien interrupts Marinette and she looks at him super confused but sighs and makes room for me to pull over a chair. I pull my chair over and sit next to adrien wow I can smell his cologne from here, it's really nice
Adrien POV
God I feel so bad for letting luka sit with us Marinette seems so sad but I couldn't reject him he was so cute and shy! "So what are you guys doing here?" "We were just having a date but it's okay if you really felt uncomfortable over there with Juleka and rose" Marinette seems really agitated. Luka looked shocked "oh I'm so sorry I can just leave you guys alone" "what no! Stay!" They both look at me confused and surprised by my sudden outburst, great adrien "uhh I'm sorry I just didn't want you to feel so alone, you know?" Marinette seemed even more mad "well I'm finished with my ice cream, I should go home anyways and by the way adrien I thought you were different but I was right when I first met you, yoU ARE JUST A LITTLE MEAN RICH BOY" and she stomps off fuming "wait Marinette!" We both call out but she already left. "I'm so sorry adrien I didn't mean to ruin your date with Marinette maybe even relationship, gosh I'm sorry man" luka looks so disappointed "hey it's okay luka, I actually was not that into her in the first place, I just wanted to test my theory today and I was correct" luka looked shocked "oh really, so who do you really like?" We sit back down at the table and I look at the sunset "I like you luka" but I can't say that "um I'm not sure haha" I rub my neck and luka nods "yeah? Well I'm here to help you" we stare at the sun for a little longer till it gets dark out "we should probably get home now" luka says I look up at him "oh yeah probably" as we were walking home I had the urge to ask him questions "hey luka" "adrien I was wondering" we chuckle "you go ahead" luka says "what no no I insist you speak" luka looks away I can see his ears slowly glow red under the lampstreets light "okay I know it's a really personal question but" there was a slight delay in his sentence "would you ever consider dating a male?" I gasp what? Was I that obvious about my crush? "Oh uh well you see theoretically if I did then I would definitely like you but my dads kinda homophobic..." luka looks at me sadly "so he wouldn't accept you? Or us?" I nod and we both look down "........." the smiles and laughter we shared, all left with the mention of my father, I really killed the mood "I'm sorry luka, I didn't mean to upset you" luka looks back up at me and gives a small smile "you're okay adrien, so you've always been in the closet?" "Uh yeah I'm actually bisexual and I tried to tell my father intel one day during pride month he was not happy and went on a whole tangent about how much he hates the gays".
luka looks sympathetic "well you do know there is another option, we could go on a few dates see how things go and plan on a good way for you to come out to him, and if he doesn't take it well you can always come and stay with me" I look at him with joy "luka I would love that! But we have to be really careful" "hey everything will be okay" luka looks into my eyes and holds my hand giving it a slight squeeze of reassurance. I smile at him and we continue our walk through the dark Paris streets, I'm overwhelmed with joy right now. "Hey luka" "yeah adrien?" I blush "i really like you, non-theoretically" he laughs. "I like you to adrien" he blushes and I get even more red in the face, we arrive a little ways away from my house and I let go of his hand sadly "well I'll just walk up alone, thank you" luka looks down a little hurt could be seen in his once happy eyes. I start to walk away when I feel a hand grab mine and twist my body around, I get pulled into a hug "luka I really need to go home now" "I know just let me hold you a little longer" I sigh and let him continue to hold me against his chest, I breath in his scent and instantly feel more relaxed I feel a small peck on my forehead and I pull away from the hug. I see a small blush on Lukas face and I can feel my face burning up again gosh the things this boy makes me feel "I'll see you tomorrow Adrien" "yeah luka I'll see you" he waves then crosses the street going to his house, I wait intel I can't see him anymore and go into my house. There I meet my father who is sitting on one of the couches in the entry way, he is holding his head in his hands, he looks up and sees me running over grabbing my arm "where have you been!" "Dad I'm sorry I got carried away with my date with Marinette" he sighs in relief "oh did you have a good time?" He let's go "yeah i did! She's amazing" he smiles "yes I quite like the girl" he let's go of me and I go to my room and change I kinda feel bad for lying to him but he probably lies to me all the time
Chloes POV (surprise!!)
I was walking back home from the shopping center, I got so carried away it's already past 9 pm. As I'm walking I see adrikens talking with that gothic girl Juleka's older brother I should go say hi! But before I could run over I see luka grab adriens hand what! Omg are they gay? I tell jean to take my bags home and that I forgot my phone at the center "are you sure Miss.Chloe? The streets aren't safe at night" I sigh "yes jean I'll be fine, I am queen bee after all!" He sighs "what are you waiting for Jean! Go! shoo!" He then hurriedly puts the bags in the car and drives off. I start following the boys, they are still holding hands! And adriens blushing while they are talking. Finally we arrive near adriens house and I hid behind the corner of the gate, I take my phone out and start taking pictures this will so be the next big gossip of Paris after they are done luka starts walking my way so I quickly run and hide behind a poster of adriens ad for a cologne. Once luka is gone I start walking home, I get into my room and use a burner phone and sent the photos to save and then I sent it to the whole school and also to the news channels. Now everyone will be talking about this! I'll be the biggest hit
*the next morning*
Adriens POV
I wake up and I grab my phone to see everyone in my class texting me and a whole bunch of missed calls from them, I read ninos text it said
Nino: dude you have to watch the news!
Me: okay, why?
Nino: you will see...
I grab my remote and turn on my tv going to the news Channel the reporter clears his throat "the story you've all been waiting for, we anonymously got sent pictures of the famous model adrien agreste, here in the picture is adrien holding a mystery guys hand" and a picture is shown on screen oh no that's from last night! Who would've seen us the reporter continues "another picture shows them hugging near the agreste estate, is there something this super model hasn't told us? Stay tuned for more! And now a quick commercial break" I turn off the tv Plagg looks at me "wow you're really in for it now, how are you going to explain this to everyone?" My phone goes off and I jump a bit I quickly grab and and answer "hey adrien are you there?" I sigh "yeah luka I'm here, how are you feeling?" "Me? I'm fine but I'm mostly worried about you! Are you gonna be okay?" I was about to reply when my phone was snatched out of my hand and I turn around. My dad is standing there, his grip on my phone was very tight and you can see veins in his face popping out bc of anger "you said you went on a date with that girl Marinette dupin-Cheng! You lied to me and the worst part is you were with another man!" I can hear Lukas voice through the phone "adrien! Are you okay! Mr.Agreste don't hurt him please!" My dad puts the phone up to his ear "I don't know who you are boy but leave my son alone! And don't try to contact him every again!" And he pushes the end call "dad no! Luka didn't do anything!" I try to grab my phone but before I could I felt a stinging sensation on my cheek "you can never call me dad or father again, you are not my son, I want you out of my house" I start crying "what? Dad please let's talk about this, please!" He slaps me again "no, now pack your stuff......NOW!" I flinch and get up running around my room packing clothes and some necessities. "Now leave" he growls looking out of the window "...dad" I try to grab him but he flinched and pushed me away "security! Take this boy out of my house!" Then I get grabbed and dragged out of my room I'm yelling at my dad but he doesn't look at me, while Nathalie is crying trying to get my father to reason. I get thrown out the door and I sit on the curb and cry, that's till I hear a motorcycles engine rev and I look up seeing luka driving really fast, I stand up and grab my duffle bag and luka parks getting off the bike "adrien" I run towards him and he opens his arms for a hug, I tightly grab onto him and he comforts me as I start crying. After a little while we get onto his bike and drives us back to his home, once we get there his mom and Juleka look at me comforting and his mom comes up to me "I have to go to work right now but you can stay here adrien, as long as you need to" I thank her and juleka gives me a small hug "I'm so sorry you had to go through this, no one should ever do what that anonymous person did, coming out is a really special thing and they ruined it for you" I take a deep breath "right and your dads a big jerk, I was so scared" luka says joining the hug I feel so at home already "thank you guys so much, for letting me stay and accepting me" they smile "of course adrien" Juleka goes to her room leaving me and luka on the deck "can I see your face? I want to make sure he didn't hurt you to bad" I blush "uh sure" luka leans closer and grabs my chin gently looking at both my cheeks "okay you're alright but just in case..." he then attacks my face with little kisses and I giggle he stops and smiles at me and I smile back "want to watch some movies with me?" "Yeah sure!" And we go to his room and get Netflix on his tv
