A/n: this chapter is rather boring but it talks a lot about cheryl's relationships with the kids and toni.
cheryl's pov
today was going to be an interesting day. i was going to my first interview since i've been in los angeles. of course when i moved back i kept modeling and working but i haven't been able to go to a lot of interviews.
my dressing room was nice and my team for today did my hair and makeup nicely. i was a bit nervous since i haven't been in an interview in awhile but i was just going to try and stay calm.

"hi everyone today i'm joined by the beautiful and talented cheryl blossom!" the interviewer says.
"hi thanks for having me!" i say.
"of course. i'd love to know more about you and i'm sure your fans would too." she says.
"yea i'm just happy to be here in this interview. away from the craziness of my household." i say and laugh.
"i get it completely. so how has your life changed since you were able to become a model?" she asks.
"it's changed a lot definitely. i really enjoy getting to model for clothing brands because before i was the one designing the clothes and now i get to model the clothes which is really cool." i say.
"yea i bet. you now have a pretty huge following on social media. what is that like?" she asks me.
"it's great and i really love getting to interact with all my fans and just posting important things in my life is important to me." i say
"how does it feel to be a role model to so many people in the lgbtq community?" she asks.
"that's one of the greatest joys of my life. just to know that my story and how i overcame it is helping other people overcome there stories is something so special to me and i feel very grateful for that opportunity." i answer.
"and how does it feel to be helping young girls feel confident in there own bodies and just love who they are?" she asks.
"again that's one of my greatest joys. i know that as a teen especially it is hard to love your body so to all the young girls out there if you are struggling with body image just know that it's ok to feel insecure sometimes but you are beautiful and you shouldn't let anyone tell you your not." i say.
"beautifully said. you post a lot about your kids which i love and i know your fans love that so can you tell us a little bit about your family?" she asks kindly.
"yea of course. so i have a gorgeous and amazing wife, toni topaz, who i've dated since high school. she's really my rock and i would never be able to survive without her. she is everything to me and i'm just so lucky to have someone whose as awesome and supportive as she is. i have to say she's probably better at the whole parenting thing then i am. in total we have 11 kids but it's an interesting situation that we have. me and toni both switched off getting pregnant by invetro. so biologically 3 are mine and 3 are hers. then we adopted 2 more girls. and then recently my nieces and nephew needed a family so we have shared custody of those 3 with my cousin and her husband." i say.
"i only have 2 kids at home and even that's exhausting for me. i can't imagine having 11 kids. is it like always chaotic?" she says and i laugh.
"yes it is always a party at thornhill. since we have 6 teenagers though they are a huge help with the rest of the little kids which is like a life saver. after 16 years though we've developed a pretty solid schedule and routine which i think is important to have in a big and crazy family." i say.
"on your instagram you post adorable pictures and videos of all your kids and they all have the most fun personalities i've ever seen. there all gorgeous and handsome as well. can you tell everyone who doesn't know all about your kids and there personalities?" she asks me.
"aww thank you. and yea they all are unique and different in there own way. my oldest brandon is very strong willed and he rarely takes no for an answer. i really love how persistent he is. when he wants something he makes sure he gets that which sometimes i feel like i'm kind of like that too which is something we have in common. he mostly plays video games all day so i don't always get to see him as much as a mother would like but i know he's a teenager and i want to give him some space. then there's liam who is brandon's twin brother. he's more of a family man then brandon is for sure. he's always willing to help out and be there for all of his siblings. i'm pretty sure if one of them was to ever get into a fight liam would jump right in and fight for his sibling because he has such a big heart. then my niece and nephew juniper and dagwood are the same age as the twins and are at our house on the weekends. they are both such a nice edition to our family and fit in so well. they both are kind and loving human beings even thought they didn't have the best home life growing up. i'm really glad we got them when we did. next is angelica and she's 13. she was my first biological kid so she was my first pregnancy. she's a really special and talented girl. she was actually the reason we moved to los angeles in the first place. whenever she has a dream or a goal she goes for it and never gives up. she is like my mini me and so full of sassy remarks. she is probably going to rule the world one day. then there's ella who was our first adopted kid. she was angelica's best friend in her math class when they were both 10 but stuff went down and we wanted to be able to foster her and then eventually adopt her of course. luckily everything went through and we were able to adopt her in the end. despite everything that happened to that girl she is the opposite of what you would expect her to be. she is happy and healthy in every way possible. she values family over everything which is something i admire and she knows how to make anyone feel better if they were ever upset. after my second pregnancy i had tayleigh. what's interesting about tay is that she is definitely our most loyal and honest kid which is not something common in most 10 year olds. she is the sweetest and really similar to toni in terms of personality. she is so selfless and will beat herself up if she ever did something wrong. i guess you could call her a bit of a perfectionist but i just think she doesn't want to disappoint me and toni. she has a heart of gold which is something i very much admire from her. then next is grace who is 8. she is the biological little sister of ella and we adopted them together. at first grace had a really tough time adjusting and she didn't fully understand what was going on. we tried a lot of methods and even put her in therapy to just help her feel safe and happy with us and luckily 3 years later she is the happiest we've ever seen her. she's always finding ways to entertain us and make everyone around her laugh. she used to be so shy and now she's so confident. i couldn't be prouder of her. next is toni's 3rd biological son aiden. he is truly the human embodiment of happiness. he is probably what every parent would want in a child if i'm being honest. he just has so much love in his heart and he loves to spread his happiness to everyone. no matter where we are or who we're with he always makes sure that everyone is happy. i really hope he stays that way his entire life and just promotes positivity to everyone around him. next is my 3rd and youngest biological daughter evianna. evi is definitely our wild child in more ways then one. she is usually the one to test the limit on our patience sometimes but it's just because she is so full of sass. i'm very proud to say that she is a huge mommy's girl and my little shadow. in this past year especially she has amazed me and toni with how smart she is. at first she was moved up a grade level because she was picking up the material quicker then other kids but now she's in the gifted and talented program with kids who are twice her age. she definitely shocked us with her brains and we're very proud of her. she is just adorable and living life to the fullest. then the youngest of whole family is juniper and dagwood's biological little sister, cora. she is technically my niece but regardless we love her like a daughter now. i feel really lucky to get to be apart of her life and her growth after she was in such a bad home situation. she has her ups and downs like every kid does but overall she is so sweet and a cutie. all in all yes our family is crazy and not perfect but it's perfect for us. i love all our kids unconditionally and i couldn't ask for a better family then the beautiful one i have now." i say confidently.
"wow that is incredible. you have a wonderful family cheryl. thank you so much for joining us here today and opening up about everything!" she says.
"of course! thank you so much for having me!" i say.
after interview
i walked out of that interview feeling happy and confident. i really want people to know that same sex marriage is normal and it's normal to have two moms or two dads. ultimately as a famous person i want to use my platform for good and i think this is a perfect start.
