Donny saw So Hyun waiting at his office so he hurriedly accompanied Shar to her office.
"Shar, I think I have to bring your bag at your office," Donny get her bag and hurriedly go.
Shar followed him.
"Shar, I have to leave right away. Stay here and don't go out without me."
Donny went to his office. So Hyun is seated at the sofa.
"Donny."
"You're here."
"You know I'm on a vacation, I am always free."
"I have to meet my clients. I have to go."
"Can I come with you?"
"I didn't mention any companion in meeting them."
"Then, shall I wait you here?"
"Could you do me a favor instead?"
"What is it?"
"Do you know passion designer Heather Green?"
"Haven't met her in person but I heard her name already."
"Could you get information about her?"
"Of course!"
"Then, let's go?"
Donny is in a hurry to let So Hyun out of his office because Shar might see her.
"I brought my car. I'll just use mine. Just go to your appointment."
Donny is somewhat suspicious about her plan but it's good she agreed to go out of the office.
So Hyun's plan is to follow Donny in his whereabouts.
Donny met his client whose name is Luke Hokins, a 37 year old CEO of Wonder Mart.
They met at a cafè.
"Atty. Donato Peterson?"
"I am. CEO Luke Hokins right?"
"According to your record you are sued because of hit and run case."
"That's why I requested an attorney. But I don't think you are capable of it."
"Sir, do you usually underestimate the people around you?"
Mr. Hopkins laughed momentarily.
"Do you usually ask your clients that way attorney?"
"CEO...no Mr. Hokins, I want to ask you questions and I need honest answers."
"If you need honest answers, I think this is not the right place to talk. Come to my office instead."
"Mr. Hokins, the trial will be held on the second day, we don't have so much time."
"I know," Mr. Hokins said and stood up. "Let's talk to a safer place," he added and went out.
In front of the cafè is a wide green park. Donny thought they would just talk there but Mr. Hokins get inside the car. Donny has no choice but to follow them.
So Hyun confirmed that Donny is really meeting his clients so she decided not to follow him anymore.
Mr. Hokins showed his office to Donny.
"Welcome to my office attorney," he proudly said.
"Mr. Hokins, did you do the complaint against you?"
"Attorney, why do you have to ask me that?"
"As your attorney, I have the right to know what is true."
"Well, I chose your Law Firm because I want a clean record. I hope you understand my point."
"You haven't answered my question yet Mr. Hokins."
"Well, just be honest if you could win this or not so that I could get a better one."
"Do you change your mind that easy?"
"I never said that."
"Could it be possible that you really hit her, you wanted to help her but you changed your mind?"
CEO Hokins was amazed to how he knew what he did during the accident.
"If I did it, will I automatically lose?"
"Of course not."
"I did it. It's true but I did not intend to leave her after the accident. I wanted to help her but..."
"But you are afraid to see yourself on the newspaper."
"Attorney, how did you know it?"
"Since you honestly told what happened, I'll see tomorrow."
"Attorney, I don't want to headline the newspaper or any news on TV."
Donny went out and called So Hyun.
"Have you met her?"
"I'm still waiting for the right time to approach her."
"Good. Make sure to talk to her."
"Don't worry. I am So Hyun trust me."
Then Donny went to his other appointment.
He went to a private house to meet an old man.
"Good afternoon po. I'm Atty. Donato Peterson. You are Mr. Job Diaz, am I right sir? A retired principal in a public school?
"Good afternoon attorney. You're right. Please come in."
Donny went inside to the old house obvious that it's built during the Spanish Era.
"How old is your house sir?"
"More than a century but I am not really sure."
"Sir, according to your record, your son and daughter are trying to sell this house without your permission. You are complaining that they stole all your important files especially with your assets."
"That's correct attorney."
"So you want to get back all the documents stolen from you and you suspected it that your son and daughter have something to do with it."
"There's no one else, except them attorney. They have been asking me to sell this house because the offer is worth 50 million."
"With that amount of money. When did you notice that your documents are missing sir?"
"They visited me once here, they are so good. They even cook food for me. They brought gift for me. They told flowery words about me. I did not know what happened next. When I woke up, they are preparing to go home. It is no longer night time but it's another day."
"Aside from your son and daughter, is there someone else who freely come here?"
"My second wife."
"Is she their mother?"
"No, their mom chose to live me after knowing about cheating issue."
"Do you still have communication with your wife?"
"No communication at all after moving to her hometown."
"Do your son and daughter still have communication to their mother?"
"I'm not sure but I think they do have."
"Is it possible to get their contact number?"
"I hope this is still their number."
"When did you lose contact with your son and daughter sir?"
"One week after I confronted them to give back the documents to me."
"Did you never try to contact them again?"
"No, and I believe they are hiding something from me."
"Who are you planning to leave this house then?"
"My second wife's family also live here with me. I mean we live here as a family."
"How about your son and daughter?"
"They already have their own family. They left me."
"Sorry to heat that but if you will be given a chance to choose whom to take care of this house who are you planning to give this?"
"I and my second wife has to decide about it."
"Who do you think has the right of this house?"
"I already gave their mom all my business. I think I can choose who to give this house."
"Sir, thank you for your honest answers. I'll meet you again tomorrow."
Donny called Shar.
"Shar, where are you?"
"At the office."
Donny hurriedly go.
Donny excitedly opened Shar's office door.
"How's your..." they both ask at the same time but both did not continue their question.
"Go on Shar."
"No, you first."
"Shar, you're always my priority so I want to listen to you first."
"Forget about it. It's nothing."
Donny tried to stop Shar to what she's doing.
"Shar, it's 8 pm, let's have dinner first."
"I have to finish this things first so that I could meet my clients tomorrow."
"I will also meet my clients tomorrow. Let's go and meet our clients together."
"You have more clients than me. You can't do it."
Donny held Shar's hands.
" I know you won't leave your work so wait for me here. I'll go get some food."
Donny decided to take out for their dinner so they could eat together and Donny to help Shar afterwards.
Shar waited for Donny. They ate dinner together happily until Chairman P passed by to Shar's office to check if she already go home.
Chairman P saw how sweet and happy Shar and Donny are that he felt ashamed to disturb them. Seeing them happy together is like reading a reminder 'Please Don't Disturb'.
He just passed by and decided to come back after an hour.
After an hour, he saw Shar and Donny still at the office. He appeared and cleared his throat to announce his presence.
"Dad..."
"Uncle."
"Donny did I not tell you to call me Chairman?"
"Dad, when Shar calls you uncle you don't even stop her, Dad I am your son, I should call you dad," Donny told his dad as if feeling jealous to Shar.
"If I am your dad, then go home. Don't tire yourselves that much. Have a rest. I am also going home."
"Sharlene, do you want to come with me?"
Donny stared at Shar to say no.
"Of course uncle," Sharlene answered.
Sharlene saw how disappointed Donny was so she added, " Of course uncle I want to but someone had already volunteered to bring me home."
"Then, you have to take care. It's too late. Go home and rest."
