"Happy Birthday!!!!" They all shouted in sync, while I was gaping at them.
Oh god.
My eyes became watery. I thought I would not get to celebrate my birthday this year. After Mom left, we never celebrated our birthday. Mom always managed to make me a cake, no matter what the consequences. After she left, dad never celebrated my birthday. Then I got the job at K-pop daily and met Min Hyuk and Lee Min hae, my two best friends at the job. Ever since then, they would always celebrate my birthday.
"Aahh, Won-won!!! We made this cake for you!!" Jin said to me, smiling.
I looked at the cake. It was a chocolate layered cake, and looked immensely delicious.
"How?" I managed to say.
"Well.... nevermind, let's cut the cake!!" Yoongi smiled his gummy smile and I smiled b candles off and started cutting it off, in triangular pieces.
"So, are you excited for your gift?" Seokjin whispered into my ear.
I turned around to see his face next to mine. I swiftly walked away from him and my eyes widened, "Gift?"
"Gifts." He rephrased.
I looked at the other members and they smiled sheepishly at me.
"Seriously?" I smiled, but frowned at the same time.
"It's on that table." Yoongi smiled and pointed it out.
Shoot, how come I didn't notice?
I picked up and crystal white box, and slowly opened it, only to reveal a silver toned circled necklace with seven coloured crystal gravels, attached to a tree.
My breath hitched in my throat.
So beautiful.
"The seven colours on the tree, represents all of us and you are the tree that holds us together." Jimin smiled at me, beautifully and Jungkook encouraged, "Wear it, Noona!!!It will look perfect on you!!"
And I did.
And I knew, I was gonna wear it all the time. This precious little thing is never leaving my neck.
"Do you like it?" Hoseok asked me with sparkling eyes.
"I love it. " I whispered and the boys smiled at each other as we united for a group hug.
