*Jerome's POV*
I got out of the shower and dressed, then walked out into the hall. Immediately I was met with a bunch of angry yells coming from downstairs. I was about to head down when Jenna came running up the stairs and into my room, blood on her cheek. I was about to call out to her as she slammed the door shut. "Je-" I started, but stopped a second later when Ryan came running up the stairs, blood all over his face and chest. Did they get into a fight?
"Whoa Ryan what happened? Calm down dood" I tried and he turned to look at me with blood shot eyes. "That little bitch!" He yelled angrily and ran into my room. I pounded on the door but it was locked. Oh shit oh shit oh shit! What do I do!?
"MITCH?!" I shouted and he came running out of the bathroom, only pants on and hair still damp. "W-what's wrong?" He asked as he ran up to me.
"Jenna came running up here with blood on her face then went into my room then Ryan came running after her, blood all over him and he ran in my room and he locked the door!" I explained quickly, panicking. "What do we do?" I asked and Mitch looked at me. "Roof. She'll be on the roof" He said and took off down the stairs.
"GUYS RYAN AND JENNA HAD A FIGHT!" Ti shouted as soon as we got down stairs. "WE KNOW!" I shouted back and followed Mitch as we both ran as fast as we could outside. Mitch opened the front door and we ran around the side of the house, to where my room was. I heard a groan and saw a dark shape on the floor. Jenna? "Oh no! Oh no please, God no!" I said to myself as I ran towards them.
"Ryan?!" I asked and looked down at my friend, laying on the cold damp grass after falling off of a two story house. "Heeeeelp" he moaned and blacked out. "Mitch! Mitch! Mitch!" I shouted and he ran to where I was. "Oh shit he needs to go to the hospital!" Mitch said and helped me pick up Ryan.
We ran over and set him down into the car. "You drive him I'm going to go find Jenna. I love you" Mitch said and kissed me ever briefly as I hopped into the front seat and began driving Ryan to the hospital.
*Jenna's POV*
I watched as Jerome and Ryan drove off into the distance. Mitch ran to the roof edge and began shouting that Ryan was gone and I could come out now. I couldn't move. Couldn't breathe. Ryan might die because of me.
Even though he was an asshole I can't handle causing his death. Especially when I had been such good friends with him when I was Mitch.
I sat there, huddling into my jacket, on the roof and watched as Mitch frantically looked for me. "Jenna?" He asked as he spotted me sitting on the roof. "Jenna..." He spoke again with sympathy as I began crying silently. I slid down to the edge of the roof and stepped onto the banister that outlined Jerome's balcony. Immediately I was met with the hands of Preston, Vikk, Rob, and Ti as they helped me down.
Mitch came sprinting into the room, Lachlan and Adam on his tail, and took me into his arms. "Hey it's going to be okay..." Mitch whispered as I sobbed into his chest. I can't believe Ryan is going to the hospital...
Because of me...
*Jerome's POV*
I drove for about 10 minutes until Ryan woke up. "Stop the car" he immediately demanded and I looked at him in the mirror. "I'm taking you to the hospital, you fell off the roof" I said and he glared me down. "What? You think I don't fucking know that? Stop the god damn car!" He demanded again and I parked the car beside the highway. I turned around to look at Ryan... I stared at my old friend. He had changed... "What happened Ryan? What happened to you?"
"Nothing happened to me. It's all that little bitch's fault" He said back and anger burned just behind my eyes. "Watch what you say about her..." I said and he rolled his eyes. "Don't you see her little game? She has four guys chasing after her and that's just in this house! Lord knows how many idiots she's strung along that don't live with us! Think about it... You, Adam, Lachlan, and I are all sucked into her little game... She... God! Why do I still love her?!? She's such a bitch! I need to get over her but I can't! She pushed me off a roof for fucks sakes!" Ryan said and I blankly stared ahead.
He was right in a way... Jenna had so many guys after her but I don't think she even realized it. I know that I still have feelings for Jenna, as long as I have feelings for Mitch I'll probably share the same feelings with Jenna. Ryan obviously loves her, he just admitted it. Lachlan was kissing her earlier today! Ryan's right... But I don't think she does it intentionally. Maybe she shouldn't lead on Lachlan so soon after we broke up but at the same time she's free to do what she wants. But does Adam like her? No, he's dating Ti. He couldn't like her... Right?
Adam is bi. He could potentially like her... Plus he had a boner when she dropped the towel, showing her ass, then covered up her boobs minimally as she ran up the stairs. Who wouldn't have gotten a boner though? Well, besides Mitch and Ti but Ti is fully gay so he doesn't really count, same with Mitch. Jenna kind of is Mitch.
"D-do you see what I mean?" Ryan whispered and I stared off into the distance. "Do you think Adam actually likes her or are you making a point?" I asked, still staring into the distance. "I don't know... What do you think?" Ryan whispered. "Well... He did have a boner..." I said and Ryan sat straight up.
"What? When? What happened?" Ryan asked and I remembered that he wasn't here and didn't know. "We were playing truth or dare and Jenna jumped into the pool naked" I said and watched as his eyes turned to saucers. "W-when?!?" He asked and I shrugged, "about fifteen minutes before you got home" I said and laughed as Ryan cursed under his breathe. "Any chance she'll be doing that again?..." He whispered and I heard him. "Maybe... But now we know she'll even get naked if we dare her to" I said and laughed along with Ryan.
"Do you still need to go to the hospital?" I asked and Ryan shook his head. "No I think if anything were broken I would feel it, everything except my nose feels fine" Ryan answered. "Whatever you say... You're the boss" I said and drove the car back onto the highway, got off at the next exit, and got back onto the highway heading towards home.
"Maybe I should call them" I said and Ryan nodded as I took out my phone and dialed Mitch.
M: Hey biggums. Is Ryan okay?
J: He says he is, he doesn't want me to take him to the hospital
M: Is he insane? Did he bonk his head when he fell off the roof?
J: I don't know. We're on our way back
M: okay see you soon I love you
J: Love ya too buddy bye bye
I hung up my phone and got off at our exit. Now it would only be a five minute drive until we were home. "Did she actually push you?" I asked and Ryan looked slumped back into the backseat. "Ya... But I don't blame her. I probably would've done the same thing if we were reversed. I was so pissed. She probably thought I was gonna kill her and I probably would have... In a way I'm glad she pushed me" Ryan told me and I nodded my head, understanding.
Pulling into the driveway, we saw Mitch standing on the front porch. He approached the car as Ryan and I stepped out. "Are you still mad? I can take her to a hotel or something tonight if you want..." Mitch told Ryan and he shook his head. "Nah I was being an asshole. I deserved everything she did" He said and Mitch, although unsure, stepped out of Ryan's way. Ryan walked up to the front door, Mitch and I following him. He knocked a couple times and waited for someone to answer the door.
"Don't lay a hand on her. I don't care what she did- I will beat the shit out of you along with every other guy in this room" Lachlan said to Ryan as soon as he opened the door, then stepped out of the way to let him pass in...
*Jenna's POV*
I watched with tears still in my eyes as Ryan walked through the door, dried blood running from his nostrils all the way down to his shirt. He looked at me as Preston, Rob, and Vikk made a barrier between me and him. "Guys I appreciate it but that's really not necessary..." I said and moved them apart.
"Ryan?" I asked sadly and he gave me a tired smile. "I'm so sorry... I-I really didn't mean to..." I whispered but had to stop because of tears once again pouring out of my eyes. "No it's okay. I deserved all of that, I was being a total ass" he said back and smiled sadly at me as I cried silently. He stepped towards me and all the guys stepped towards us. "It's- It's fine guys" I told them but they didn't let down their guard.
I stepped towards Ryan and hugged him, allowing my tears to spill onto his blood soaked shirt as he hugged me back. "Hey I'm sorry I punched you" he whispered and I laughed a little. "And I'm sorry I pushed you off a roof" I said and this time he laughed. We stepped back from each other and I sniffled a little. "You guys still up to playing truth or dare?" I asked and they looked at me with doubt.
"You really still want to play?" Jerome asked and I shrugged. "I think we should all go to bed..." Lachlan started, staring at me. Ya, I know what you want little Lachy... Not gonna happen tonight sweetie.
"Yeah lets go to bed" Adam agreed, looking at Ti. "Ugh fine" I said and took off towards the basement. Jerome and Mitch headed upstairs into Jerome's room. Adam and Ti disappeared into their own room. Ryan stayed on the couch and the rest of the guys followed me down.
"Sleeping with Little Lachy tonight eh?" Rob asked and nudged my arm as I blushed. "You know there's a reason why we don't call him big Lachy..." Vikk said behind me as we all burst out laughing. "Hey no banter!" Lachlan joked and elbowed Vikk playfully.
"So there is one bed and two couches... How you guys wanna do this?" Preston asked, chuckling slightly. "So there's me, Lachy, Icky Vikky, Roob, and Puuurston. So one person on each couch then three in the bed, but who goes where?" I asked.
"I vote Poofless on the couches then Viklan and Jenna on the bed" Rob offered. "Guuuys I don't wanna be a third wheel with Viklaaan" I joked and they all laughed. "Takes three wheels for a tricycle boys" Vikk said and hopped into the queen sized bed, taking up half the room by spreading out his arms. "Ahh guess you guys are gonna have to cuddle because I'm not moving" Vikk said and yawned, closing his eyes.
Preston and Rob got onto their respected couches and covered themselves up with blankets, falling asleep almost instantly. "Do you all just sleep in your clothes?" I whispered to Lachlan. "Usually we're all in underwear but we can't do that because you're here" He whispered back and I nodded, understanding. "Okay well I'm going to go change into pajamas be right back" I said and ran up two flights of stairs, landing myself outside of Jerome's room.
I listened through the door to make sure they weren't fucking or something then knocked. "Come in" Mitch called and I opened up the door. Mitch and Jerome were both in bed, shirtless. "Did I interrupt something?" I asked as I made my way over to the suitcase. "Yes, we were just about to make nasty love to each other. I would appreciate it if you would get out" Mitch joked and I playfully stuck my tongue out at him as I gathered some pajamas in my hand.
"Hokeyp but be quiet, the rest of us are trying to actually sleep" I said and winked at them before exiting the room, making sure to lock the door behind me. I made my way to the bathroom and changed before heading back down to the basement where Lachlan was sitting in bed, shirtless, and playing on his phone. "Why is everyone shirtless?" I asked, looking around. They were all awake and whispering to each other.
"We also aren't wearing pants" Vikk said and playfully winked at me. "I swear guys this better not be some sick plan" I joked and hopped into the bed, beside Lachlan as they all laughed. He laid on his back and I rested my head on his bare chest, snuggling into him. Just like I used to do with Jerome...
I closed my eyes and listened to their conversation for a while before eventually dozing off into a happy sleep...
