"W-wha... How..."
Aiden rushed up to his wife's side, connecting the dots inside his mind. So it was true, Elsa could sense if he was in at serious risk or not.
Does that mean he could sense if she was in danger too? What is this kind of magic? And it exists?
"A-are you okay?" She weakly forced a gentle smile, ignoring how numb her legs had grown. Aiden caressed her cheek and nodded, breathing out, "Snowflake, you've saved me."
"And I didn't fail," Elsa chuckled tiredly, leaning against his side. Aiden planted a soothing kiss on her temple before standing back up, a furious glow of yellow suddenly taking over his eyes, a look of fury contorting his face.
"So you've tried to kill me again," Aiden began, slowly stepping forward to dig his nails through Abaddon's collar.
Abaddon roared in immense pain as the split wound between his foot and the icicle moved his flesh.
"P-please, Aiden, m-mercy..."
"MERCY?!" Aiden boomed, "Did you show me any, when there was war at sea?! Did you show any to my mother?!"
No words left Abaddon's throat— which was soon being tortured once a death grip pounced around it.
"You even realize it yourself..." Aiden smirked.
Helena shakily picked up the piece of sharpened flint, a flame beginning to devour the dagger like it was nothing but a frail candle.
The dagger is crushed between her two hands, before dropping through the gap between in the form of ashes.
Abaddon was losing it. Every drop of stolen Ignaeran power crawled away from his skin like it was some treacherous snake, the tendrils of golden light creeping up to Aiden's veins instead.
The sensation felt very familiar.
Aiden howled in anguish pain at the sudden electrifying transfer of power, "AAAAARGHH!"
Just as the fire king absorbed the new burst of energy, Abaddon glanced at the blue colored stiffness that began to grow from the tip of his toes in horror.
The ferocity of ice.
Elsa huffed and stood up from where she rested, glorious blue swirls of flurries engulfing the palm of her hands. Half of Abaddon's body is now encased in frigid ice, and his mouth had begun to release visible, choked breaths.
He grunted, "W-what have you done to me?!"
Every strand of Abaddon's hair became as white as pure snow, and a tapestry of snowflakes began to form on his cheeks. His skin could even be described as translucent now, like a thin blanket of frost.
Elsa icily answered his outraged question, "Your heart has become frozen."
And that was the last thing Abaddon saw; the collapsing body of the fire king, before he transformed into a statue, his face immortalized and shrewd in terror.
Elsa finally lowered her arms and folded them against herself, her eyes shutting tightly in slight regret.
But it was for the better.
She carefully approached her husband's alive but unconscious body, laying his head on her lap so he could rest properly. His skin felt warmer than usual, but in a strange sense, it was not definitely a fever.
"He's going to be alright," Helena spoke to break the deafening silence, "He just absorbed what was left of Abaddon's powers. It is natural for him to pass out."
"A-absorbed his powers?"
"I will explain that later. For now, let's go home. I'll fetch Magoo to carry him, the two of us aren't strong enough."

The trip back home took a few hours, they arrived at the courtyard by the sunset. Not one guard dared to ask what had become of the ex-prisoner's fate, they didn't want to know. They had never seen their queen so quiet, not since thirteen years ago.
Anna practically snatched her nephew and her niece from the General's arms, an overjoyed yell of relief leaving her lips.
Iduna was not too far behind her youngest daughter, her pale blue eyes examining her grandchildren.
"Thank goodness, they're both safe."
"Where's Aiden?"
Elsa blankly answers, "The infirmary."
Anna's irises minimized in size. "D-did he? Oh no..."
"No, no, he's fine. He just passed out. Watch over the twins for a while... I need to see him."
Helena nodded curtly towards the ginger and the brunette before following her daughter in law's path.
Agnarr brought his wife into his arms tightly, bringing a smile to Iduna's face. Iduna gently pulled away, a quizzical look crossing her features, "What happened?"
"Oh, you wouldn't want to know," Kristoff grimaced, holding Anna closely as he shuddered at the thought, "Let's just say that Abaddon is immortalized into a statue."
"I see," Iduna titters.

Her fingertip traced the softness of her husband's cheek, before sweeping up the sweaty locks of his hair to make sure he doesn't feel uncomfortable. Her other hand moved lower to wrap around his own.
"You're entirely Ignaeran, aren't you, mama Helena?"
Helena nodded calmly, "And how did you know, dear?"
"We've gotten information from the trolls, when Abaddon was causing havoc in Ignaera. We went there, too."
Helena's whole frame tensed up at the mention of chaos at her former home... Which she abandoned recklessly all those years ago.
She didn't want to question further about the trolls. It is the topic she is most afraid of facing.
"Does that mean Aiden is half Ignaeran?"
Helena smiled, "Indeed. Most of Ignaerans have black hair, like mine and his, if you have noticed. Pure blood Ignaerans are naturally born with amber eyes," She paused to point at hers, "But Aiden was born with green ones because he is only partially like me."
Elsa gave an awed look before asking another question. "Does... Does absorbing powers have side effects?"
Helena could only tilt her head in wonder, "I don't really know. Once he wakes up, we'll find out."
The alabaster door opened much to Elsa and Helena's surprise. A certain princess walked inside, escorted by Kristoff who held a blinking Chandler, whose blankets are replaced with new ones.
The burly blonde prince carefully placed the squirming little boy in his mother's arms, "He wanted to see you."
Elsa chuckled and understood
Chandler craned his small neck up to find his mother's eyes on his identical ones.
"Hey there, little snowflake," Elsa greeted, nuzzling his hair, "You didn't need to cry when you look for mama."
Chandler cooed in response, his small index finger making contact with his mother's. A patch of frost formed on the back of Elsa's hand, eliciting gasps of shock and awe from her and the rest.
"Elsa," Anna cheered, "He's just like you!"
"And they manifested when he's too young," Elsa sighs, her thumb brushing against her son's fingers.
Anna's big smile didn't waver, "That doesn't matter. We can teach him to control it."
"He's only two months old... However could he know?" Elsa then shook her head, "But you're right, it doesn't matter. He's surrounded by people who loves him, and love thaws."
"Do you think Auriana has powers too?" Anna shrugged, "I mean, they're twins. They've got to be in sync in possibly everything. They just look different from each other, but..."
"Time can only tell," Helena cuts in, "For now, we have to keep an eye over them."
