POV Shar
I already told So Hyun to help her. Good CJ is approaching.
"Sharlene, you forgot your book," CJ told me and give the book.
"Ooops, don't look at me like that, hmmm" CJ told Donny trying to recall his name.
"I'm Donny," he said.
"Donny...so you're Donny," CJ said as if confirming it's really him.
"Okay, I think you can go now," Donny told CJ acting like a president.
"Yes sir President," answered CJ with emphasis.
CJ is a joker and he really said things to annoy others.
"What did you just say?" Donny asked trying to catch up CJ. But some students keep staring at Donny.
Donny noticed them. He stopped. He ran toward me.
"Why are they looking at me?" he asked me.
Donny is wearing a Kiton tuxedo and trouser from Italy, that matched his Louis Vuitton shoes and he really looked like a real president.
"Why do you have to wear like that?" I told him.
"Is this why they are looking at me?"
"I guess," I answered.
"Do you know why I'm wearing this?"
I did not answer.
"How do I look Shar? Do you like it?" he asked trying to impress me.
"Donny, I can't come," I told him honestly.
"Why? Do you have any appointment? Then I will come with you."
"No, I'm don't," I answered.
"But you seem to be going somewhere. I'll drive for you."
"Donny, nanay is there, she's waiting for me."
Donny was disappointed. Can't do anything. But he gestured he'll call me on the phone.
POV Donny
Shar does not want to answer my call. I feel like she's avoiding me.
Mom bought another house. I don't know why but she doesn't even told me about it. I just found out from my dad's secretary.
So Hyun came at my office. It's been a long time since she did not meet me.
"Hi Donny!"
"So Hyun, why are you here?"
"I missed you Donny," he suddenly told me.
"So Hyun, why are you like that all of a sudden?"
"Then he cried in front of me."
We were classmates before so at least she is close to me, I tried to help her.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because I lost someone who is very important to me."
"So Hyun, please stop crying, what if she will see you here."
POV Shar
I am supposed to tell something to Donny but I saw them, So Hyun and Donny. Donny is trying to calm So Hyun, I did not continue my plan. I have to give So Hyun a time to be with Donny.
I believe that if someone loves you wholeheartedly, he'll make way to be with you. And besides, I don't think I am that important to him.
I am saying I am letting him go but why do I feel this way? Why do I keep thinking about him? Why am I feeling this way? Why can't I smile and why do I want to cry?
I felt like I am walking but I can't feel my feet from moving, I am saying I am letting him go, but I can't feel I am letting him free.
Walking along the law firm's landscape, So Hyun saw me.
"Sharlene," he called me.
That was the first time she called me that way.
I tried my best to hide from her. She should not see me. Good someone called her on phone.
I went to my class feeling uneasy. But I have to be strong and instead of being so affected I decided to concentrate more on my studies.
I have to meet the expectations of Dad. And besides I have to fulfill my goal-- to have my own name not just the daughter of the top cardiosurgeon in Korea and the daughter of the President of the Best Law Firm in Korea. I have to have my own identity as well.
POV Donny
I'm expecting Shar to be at my office but she did not even call me, I wonder why she suddenly changed. I checked her schediul if she's really that busy but I found out she has a free time.
"Sir, I'm sorry, but we have a problem, the client keeps on demanding to meet you."
"Meet me?"
"Yes, sir."
"Let her in."
I saw a woman who is maybe aged 40.
"I told you to meet the president. Not a kid."
"Ma'am, he's the president of this Law Firm," my secretary told her.
"I'm here to seriously talk to the president, don't fool me," the client said.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but he's really the president."
The client laughed. "You think, I will believe you?"
Shar didn't like my suit when I visited her so I changed my fashion. I went to the office wearing denim.
Then a director whom she's familiar with came and called me Sir.
"Then, you're really the president?"
My secretary that time is just beside me.
"He is the president," I told her referring to my secretary.
"Sir, sir, sir..." my secretary called me trying to stop me from going out.
"Bye, sir, see you later," I told him.
The client talked to my secretary instead of me.
POV Sharlene
Donny suddenly called my name while going out of my classroom.
There's no way to hide.
"Are you busy?"he asked.
"Yes, and you're busy too." I told him.
"Actually, it's my day off today, that's why I am here," he told me. "Shar, let's go," he added.
"Donny, I think I can't come with you, I have to do my research."
"Research? I also have something to research."
"Donny," I said trying to stop him but he grabbed my hand and assisted me to go inside the car right away.
"Seatbelt," Donny said.
"Open the door, I'm going out," I told him.
"You really want to go out?" he asked.
Before I could say yes, he fixed the seatbelt for me. I felt like I was frozen. My heart just beats the fastest as if I just have a 20 km run within 5 minutes.
He then drive. We really went to the library.
"Shar, if you have any plan to escape, I'll hold your hand to wherever you go, but if you really have to do research then I'll let you."
"I'll research," I told him.
"Shar, actually, I am also looking for an answer. I don't know what to do but I have something to solve."
I don't want to feel such nervousness again so I avoided him.
I looked for the book I needed. Donny is beside me trying to follow me.
"Do you know how to research?"
"I don't know. Could you teach me?"
I have no choice but to help him.
POV Donny
While writing, I just thought of buying a book instead of writing a lot. But then, if it's the way to be with Shar then I can write.
Shar is taking too long to research. So Hyun is calling on my phone but I didn't answer.
[I am at your office, I am waiting for you.] So Hyun texted me.
"Shar, I have to answer a call. Wait for me here," I told Shar.
I explained to So Hyun that I can't go to office because I have a very important appointment. But she demanded me to at least meet her after my appointment and she's willing to wait.
"But I have another meeting after my appointment."
"Okay then. See you tomorrow," she answered.
I took Shar at their home. I felt how Shar is not that comfortable with me.
I went inside to greet her nanay. Nanay is too approachable.
As I went out to their house, I saw So Hyun.
"Donny, I thought you have a very important appointment."
"So Hyun."
"Donny, did you lie just to be with Shar?"
"I didn't lie."
"You told me you have an important appointment but only to find out that you're with Shar."
"Why do you have to see me?"
"Because you are important to me."
"Can I not call important appointment when being with her?"
