Papa I: Lead by example kind of guy. Really just hopes she would figure it out on her own at some point. If he notices something he would DEFINITELY mention it to mom. Also a little too blunt. would probably walk into her bedroom, without knocking cause its HIS HOUSE, and say something along the lines of "You good?". an obvious reply of ???what ???? and he says "Do you like yourself? Boyfriend? Friends? whats the matter with you?" and then mom pushes him out of the way and talks to her in private. He doesn't mean it to sound the way it does, but he really has no concept of sensitivity when it comes to people who aren't his s/o. He really wants to be there for her but doesn't know how. Whatever she asks for he'll give it to her, and if she needs someone to talk to he'll always be there, he's just not the best at it.
Papa II: Again, kind of takes a backseat here. He doesn't know very well how much daughters wanna hang out with there dad or how much they wanna have those emotional conversations with their dad. But that doesn't stop him from trying. He would knock and then poke his head in the room and like "hey. what are you doing? wanna go like... shopping? Get your nails done or something? What are you into these days?" She would probably laugh a little and then agree. He would take her out and get her nails done with her (just a manicure for him, maybe some clear polish, he likes to be well kempt and isn't afraid of a little pampering. He'd take her shopping for some clothes she might like (and steer her clear of anything remotely revealing) and ask if she has a partner "Do you like any boys, or girls, you know i dont judge" hes sure to clarify just in case that's what theyre thinking about. He doesn't usually get a straight answer and doesn't usually press, but still asks every few weeks. Definitely the type to google parenting advice, but only in private, and delete the browser history after because he's too proud to ask for help 99% of the time.
Papa III: Lead by example! you know that saying "do as i say not as i do"? he thinks that's bs. He knows if someone said that to him he would do the exact opposite, so he finds the best way to parent in these situations is to DO, and hope his child follows. Of course he's usually very outwardly and obviously confident because he tries to dress/carry himself well at all times, but the most poignant way to lead by example is to be confident even when he isn't. Even when he's wearing his lazy day clothes, or being messy, or says something that isn't exactly very smart, he always holds his head up high and wont apologize for who he is. He always tries to verbally remind his daughter how much he loves and cares about her, and how cool she is, and that he is always there if she needs someone to talk to. And if she needed someone to talk to, she would go to him because they trust each other and his advice is unmatched (even to mom).
