(Matthews POV)
I was laying on my bed when my phone vibrated. I look at it and its a text from natalie. I read it and i get a weird feeling. Im mad. So i reply.
M- I was just trying to be nice to you and maybe be friends. You just ruined it all. Maybe i am a player but i could change. But i dont care anymore. I was hoping you looked past my reputation. Bye natalie.
I dont care about her anymore. I can get so many other girls and i dont need her. Screw her.
I checked the time it was 12:34 am. Wow i need to sleep. I just layed in bed and started thinking. Thinking about what happened today but it wasnt too long till i fell asleep.
(Natalies POV)
My phone vibrated and i saw matthews name. I quickly checked it and sat there. Did i do the right thing? Ugh this kid is so bipolar. And so am i. Maybe we just werent meant to be friends.
I just locked my phone and went to bed. It wasnt long before sleep took over my body.
11:00 am| sunday morning•
(Natalies POV)
I woke up from my mom knocking on the door i wasnt in the mood for anything today. "Come in" i said to my mom. "goodmorning nat, how did you sleep?" She smiled. "It was okay, do you need something?" I said to her. She just nodded and said "your father and i are not going to be home till midnight so im expecting you to clean up and get ready for school tomorrow!" I just said "okay" and she left my room.
With that i got up and hopped in the shower. I washed my hair and body like usual and got out. I let it dry and left it natural. I didnt even apply makeup. Today was my lazy day. Like every other day haha.
I decided to wear my black yoga pants with a simple white shirt thats said 'stay weird'.
I went down stairs and made my self some pancakes. I ate them and cleaned up the mess i made.
I remembered that my mom said i had to clean up. By clean up she meant my room it was pretty messy.
So i put on some music and the song 'The heart wants what it wants by selena gomez' came on. I started to dance like crazy and clean up my clothes.
When i was dancing i glanced out my window and matthew was sitting there just looking at me all awkwardly. I just pretended i didnt see anything. I went up to my window and closed the curtains. I continued cleaning up.
By the time i was done it was around 5:00pm. I was bored so i decided to lay in bed and watch some youtube videos.
2 mins into my video i got a text and it was from alyssa.

A-Hey nat so theres a rave at the beach on friday! You have to come you promised remeber! And matthews gonna be there(;
Wtf is a rave? Im guessing its a party? And i really do NOT want to go especially because matthew is gonna be there. But i promised alyssa and i dont want to let her down. So i replied..
N- okay ill guess ill go but what is a rave?
A- just like a party but bigger and better!! Im so glad you will come cant wait till friday! Ill be at ur house afterschool so we can pick out your outfit before we go! C ya tomorrow at school! Bye.
N- okay bye see ya!
I knew it was a party. Ive never been to an actual party. Besides the one matt took me to but that doesn't count.
I didnt even know that the time passed by this fast and it was 10:45 pm. I turned off my phone a layed in bed. Slowly after i fell asleep.
•next morning•
I woke up from my alarm and quickly got in the shower. I did what i needed to do and hopped out. I quickly dried my hair and curled it. I applied my makeup as usual and headed to my closet to pick out my outfit.
I decided on a black skater skirt with a floral crop top. I looked pretty decent. I wore my black doc martins and headed out of the house.
When i got to school and i ran to my first period. That passed my pretty quickly. I didnt want to go to my 2nd because i sit next to matt. It was going to be pretty awkward.
I got to my 2nd and matthew was already there. I sat down and we did not make any eye contact. We didnt talk the whole period, it was awkward.
The rest of the week i would pass by matt in the hallways and i always saw him kissing a different girl. How worse can he get. I admit i did get a little jealous but i pushed the feeling aside.
It was finally friday and i was pretty excited because i wanted to let loose and forget about all of my problems.
I told my mom that i was sleeping over at alyssas just incase this rave lasted the whole night.
Afterschool, alyssa came over and we got ready. She looked through my closet and sighed. She eventually picked out a navy blue flowy skirt and a white crop top.
She curled my hair and did my makeup. She said i looked hot. I started to laugh. When we were ready we got in alyssas car and she drove to the rave.
When we got there, it was way bigger then expected. We got out of the car and headed inside. There were people drinking, dancing, or kissing. It was crazy.
I turn around and alyssa is gone. Ugh i always loose her. Someone turns me around and i see its alyssa. She had pills in her hand. She told me to take it and i would be more carefree.
I examined the pills they looked like ecstasy. I needed a little carefree. So i popped the pills in my mouth and drank the liquid in the cup that alyssa also handed me. It was alcohol for sure.
After about 5 mins i was drunk and i didnt know what was going on. I was on the dancefloor when i saw matt. He was making out with a girl. I got angry. He cant just stay with one girl? I just started dancing again.
After 30 mins of dancing i went to grab more drinks. When i was coming back i bumped into matt. Not knowing what to do i wrapped my arms around his neck. Whats happening?!
(Matthews POV)
I was just waiting for the girl i was hooking up with to come back when someone bumped into me. I was about to say something when i turned around. But i saw that it was natalie. She didnt even say anything she just wrapped her arms around my neck. So i wrapped my arms around her waist.
I stood there looking into her hazel eyes. "Not that i mind, but what are you doing?" I said simply. I smelled the sweet scent of alcohol. Shes drunk. Natalie doesnt say anything she just moves her hands to my chest and we both lean in.
(Natalies POV)
I really didnt know what i was doing. I couldnt even speak. My mind just took over my body and i leaned in, so did he. In a matter of seconds our lips touched. Sparks everywhere. This feeling was just wonderful. I didnt want to let go. But as soon as we did everything went black.
(Matthews POV)
As soon as our lips collided i felt something i havent felt with another girl. I didnt want to take it to far because i knew natalie would regret it but i had to stop the kiss even though i really wanted to continue. I knew that she was drunk and wouldnt want to do it if she were sober. So i pulled away and as soon as i looked at her she fell in my arms.
"Natalie! Natalie! Get up!" I kept screaming she probably just fainted from all the alcohol. So i just lift her up bridal style and take her to my car.
I put her in the passenger seat and i start driving home. I didnt have any drinks tonight surprisingly.
While i was driving home, i saw natalie shiver. So i got my jacket and put it on her. I see her cuddle up. I couldnt help but look at her every know and then.
When we got home i just picked her up carefully not waking her up. I walked to her front door and tried to open it. It was locked.
Well i cant just knock on the door and tell her parents that their innocent daughter is passed out, drunk.
I decide to take her to my house, my parents wont mind. I take her upstairs and gently put her in my bed and put the covers on her.
I make a bed on the floor and lay down. I keep thinking about the kiss and realize that ive liked natalie since the i saw her. She was always different. But i dont want to hurt her. So i might as well stay away. I wonder how she feels? About me? About our.. Kiss?
Within a couple seconds sleep takes over my body.
