I snuck out my bedroom ready to see Tyler like I usually do.
"Hey Clem." He said waiting at the bottom of my house

"One more time: We got to school but bring our other backpacks, go to school do whatever, then walk down the metro station and and take a train to Colorado and then we could take a train to L.A and boom we're free"

The next day
I walked downstairs and saw my dad eating toast.
"You just gonna stay there or you gonna get your ass out this house?" He asked eyeing me
"I'll be out alright." I mumbled
I walked out the door and there Tyler was.
"Yo what's up!"

"It's just my Dad."

"Your ma come home yet?" I asked

We walked in silence to school. Once we got there we said hi to some friends and Tyler followed me to my locker like usual.

Lunch
I drank my iced coffee waiting for Tyler to sit with me.
"Sorry I'm late Ms.Tate wanted to keep us back cause someone lost her marker." Tyler said

After school

I was still getting my bag out of my locker.
