Lauren😊: Uhm, hanging out with my friends. What about you?
Noah☺️: Waiting for your brother.
We're about to go to
Anthony's, but he's really,
really slow.
Lauren😊: Yep, that's Jordan for you.
Noah☺️: I feel sorry for you.
Lauren😊: It doesn't really matter any
way. We don't like talking to
each other and he'll get ready
on time for school so that's
what matters.
Noah☺️: Then why are you
always with him
when we hangout?
Lauren😊: Well because I like to hang
out with his friends. You
clearly being one of them.
But if you don't want me to
come anymore, I see how it is.
Noah☺️: No, that's definitely not
what I'm saying. I love it
when you're there.
I smiled down at my phone. I might like Noah. I mean he's so cute, when he blushes it's adorable. He's never mean, he just is awesome all around. I heard Benji and Emily talking, but I was paying attention until I felt a pillow hit my head. I looked up at them.
Lauren:"What was that for?!"
Benji:"Oh well maybe because we've been yelling your name for the past minute now while you were smiling down at your phone."
I felt my face go red. I looked at a smiling Emily.
Emily:"Who is it?"
Lauren:"No one."
Benji:"Oh it's someone."
Lauren:"No it's uh, an Instagram post."
Benji smiled at me and nodded, before jumping on me and grabbing my phone.
Lauren:"Benji give it back!"
I said standing up, and chasing him.
Benji:"Not till I find out who it is."
He said while running away from me. He looked at it then, back at me with a shocked look.
Emily:"Who is it?!"
Benji:"It's Noah. Jordan's friend Noah."
Emily:"Oh my god, Lauren!"
I looked down in embarrassment.
Emily:"Does Jordan know?"
I shook my head no.
Lauren:"He thinks that Noah likes me. He doesn't know we text on and off though."
We just looked at each other for a second.
Lauren:"Can I have my phone back now?"
He handed me my phone and texted Noah telling him I'd talk to him later. We heard a knock on the door, before Larri busted the door open.
Ellie:"Larriiiii! Jesus Christ!"
Larri:"Oh calm down. It's not like I broke anything."
Me, Benji, and Emily laughed as they looked up at us. They came over and hugged us as we all said hi.
Larri:"Ok, ok, what's first on the list?"
Lauren:"There's a list?"
They looked at me like I was clueless. I put my hands up, acting like I was surrendering.
Ellie:"Of course there's a list."
Emily:"Yes, and first is swimming. Clothes off, swim suits on."
We all grabbed our bags and headed to different rooms. Me, Ellie, and Emily went to Emily's room and Larri and Benji went to the guest room. After we changed, we all ran downstairs and outside to the back yard.
Benji:"CANNONBALL!"
He ran and jumped into the pool making a huge splash.
Larri:"Benjiii! I'm soaked now!"
We all laughed.
Lauren:"Weren't you getting in the pool anyways?"
Larri:"Not yet!"
We all laughed again before I jumped in the pool. My head popped back up and it was freezing!
Lauren:"Oh my god, it's so cold! It's so cold!"
Benji:"Man up and deal with it!"
I looked at him before splashing him with water. He splashed me back, but before I could retaliate, Ellie and Emily jumped in.
Larri:"I swear to god, if you guys don't stop splashing me, I'm going to throw hands."
We all laughed at him overreacting.
Lauren:"Stop being so dramatic."
Ellie:"Ya, you big baby."
Larri:"I'm not being a baby. I just don't want to get wet right now!"
Benji:"Ya, that's being a baby."
We laughed before he sighed, rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms.
Larri:"Fine."
He took a deep breath before running and cannon balling in the pool. We all clapped as he came above the water, shivering.
Larri:"Oh my god, Lauren was right. It is freezing."
We hung out in the pool for like 2 hours before we decided to go in and watch a movie. We went to the couch and got comfy while we decided on a movie.
Larri:"Ooh what about The Call?"
Ellie:"No, I'm not in the mood for scary movies tonight."
Emily:"Ya, neither am I."
Benji:"Ok, what about 5 Feet Apart."
Lauren:"No. I don't feel like crying tonight."
Larri:"Ugh, then you guys pick."
I was about to say something, but I heard a text notification go off on my phone. I picked it up and looked at the name. Zach. What could he possibly want?
Zach😡
Zach😡: Hey.
Lauren😉: What do you want Zach?
Zach😡: To talk. Jeez. Your still
mad?
Lauren😉: Ya, because your a jerk.
Zach😡: Will sorry make you
feel better?
Lauren😉: No.
Zach😡: Then what can I do
to make it up to you?
Lauren😉: Better question. Why do
you want to make it up to me?
Zach😉: I don't. But my
friends told me I should.
I knew that was a complete lie. He was sorry. He just didn't want to admit it considering he thinks he's the best thing on earth. I went to text him back, when I heard Ellie ask me a question.
Ellie:"Is that fine with you Lauren?"
Lauren:"Uh ya."
Benji and Emily looked at each other and shook their heads.
Lauren:"What?!"
Emily:"You had no clue what we were talking about."
Lauren:"Ya I did."
Benji:"What was it then?"
Lauren:"Movies?"
I said, not fully sure if that was accurate.
Larri:"Snacks. But A for effort."
I laughed.
Lauren:"Ok fine, what movie are we watching and what food are we eating?"
Ellie:"To all the boys I've loved before Part 1 and 2. And we're eating pizza."
I smiled and nodded.
Lauren:"Sounds good."
