Alex and stiles walked into Scott's house alongside young Derek. Stiles had giving him half a dozen rules that we was to obey on the way here.
Alex wasn't to keen on the idea of being alone with stiles, it would be the first time since before she left, but she also wanted to help and if this was how she was needed then she would have to be okay with it.
"We're going to wait here for Scott. We're going to sit quietly. We're not going to call or talk to anyone." He ordered
"Do I talk to you?" Derek asked
"No." Stiles shook his head
Alex rolled her eyes "you can talk to me"
"Cool" he replied "Who's going to talk to him?" He asked
"Ah!" Stiles jumped back at the sight of the FBI agent "Are you getting taller?" He asked
Alex looked forward, almost relieved there was someone else here to fill the awkward void that had been left with her and stiles.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked
"We're waiting for Scott." Derek answered
"Yeah, so am I." He nodded "We're supposed to have dinner. I brought extra." He held up the bag of Chinese food
"You guys hungry?" He asked
"Yeah."Derek and Alex answered just as stiles replied with a firm mo.
"No. We're not hungry." Stiles shook his head
"No, I'm starving." Derek spoke for himself
Alex exhaled "yeah me too" she agreed
"Neither of us are hungry. Thanks, though." He ignored the previous statements
"Okay, well if you're not hungry, Stiles, your friend can still eat with us" Raphael insisted
The older man looked at Alex unsure if he remembered the girls name. Only having small encounters with her before, one of them him being passed out "you are.."
"Alex" Alex smiled politely
It had suddenly dawned on him that she was the sister of the girl who had died months prior. He remembered Scott taking some time to grieve her loss. "Oh. Yeah" he nodded "I'm sorry about your sister"
And just as he mentioned Allison, Alex had realized apart from In school she went the day without thinking of her. The supernatural occurrence kept her mind so busy she had actually forgotten about her own sister. "Thanks" she replied dully "em, I have to go use the bathroom" she excused herself from the room
Stiles watched as Alex walked out of the room. He wanted to go check on her but he stopped himself when he remembered that it wasn't his responsibility anymore. They weren't together, she didn't need him.
"Is she okay?" Derek asked
"Uh.. yeah" stiles nodded
Alex sat on the closed toilet In the bathroom. Sniffling quietly as she held back small cries, she was doing so well today. It was as if things had actually gone back to the way they were before and just like that, it hits her all over again. The feeling of her heart being ripped out of her chest. The guilt she struggled so much with. Everything just came at her In waves. One minute things felt fine and the next she felt like she couldn't breathe.
Stiles sat down stairs. Becoming progressively more worried about the Alex as minutes had passed and she had to make an appearance.
"Is Alex okay?" Raphael asked
Stiles dropped his fork "You know I should probably go check" he nodded
"I have to use the bathroom, I can" Derek offered.
He had grown quite warm to the new girl he met. Not it a romantic type of way, but a friendly type of way. She was nice to him at the station and In the car on the way here. Stiles had just gave him orders, Alex actually talked to him. He had a sense of familiarity around her, like he knew her.
Stiles arched his brows at the wolf, wondering why on earth he wanted to check on someone he barely knew "uh.." he exhaled
"I think that's a good idea" Raphael nodded "don't want her food to get cold"
Derek nodded and stood from the table. Walking away In seconds
"What just happened" stiles asked himself
"I think your cousin might have a crush on Alex" Raphael teased stiles
Stiles glared at him "why, why would you think that?" He asked. Jealousy in his tone
"I'm just kidding" he chuckled
"Oh ha ha" stiles replied dryly
Alex opened the bathroom door and stopped as she seen Derek standing outside it "can I help you?" She asked
"I had to use the bathroom. You were up here a while" he told her
"Oh" she mouthed "sorry, it's all yours" she walked out
"Are you okay?" He asked
Alex was taken by his concern. Derek wasn't exactly the empathetic type "I'm fine thanks" she nodded
"Oh if that other guy asks. My names Miguel" he told her
Alex remembered the origin of the name and chuckled to herself. She noted what he said and walked back downstairs.

They all sat at the table. An awkward silence sheeting over them.
"So, uh, Miguel. What did you say your last name was again?" Raphael asked the teenager sat in front of him
"Oh, it's Juarez. Cinqua... Tiago." Stiles answered for him
"That's a mouthful. How do you spell that?" He asked
Derek turned and looked at stiles with amusement. Letting him take the lead on this question, since he had been doing it all night
"Phonetically."
Derek had glanced down and notched the fbi badge that Raphael had owned. He decided to take things into his own hands, "Mr. McCall, you're an FBI agent?" He asked
Alex glanced at Stiles, both worried he would ask too Much.
"He's low level. Very low level. He doesn't even have a voice." Stiles rambled on
"So do you investigate murders?" He asked
"Oh god" Alex whispered to herself.
"Sometimes." Raphael nodded "When it's a Federal crime."
"What about fires?" Derek asked
"Oh my God" stiles cried out "I wonder where Scott is. Shouldn't Scott be here by now? We should call Scott." He suggested
"What kind of fires are you talking about?" Raphael asked, ignoring Stiles attempt at a distraction
"Do you know anything about the Hale family?"

Derek pinned Stiles against the wall of Scott's room eager to know the truth about everything
"Okay, I didn't lie. I omitted certain truths. Vital truths now that I think about it." He struggled to speak
Derek pressed him harder against the wall. Stiles let out painful groans
"Alright" Alex stepped in "that's enough" she warned
"Or what?" He asked
Alex sighed. She really didn't want to hurt the young wolf. He was just trying to find out all the answers.
"it was me remember?" She reminded him "I lied not Stiles"
Derek huffed and released Stiles from his grip. Stiles stood up straight and stretched out his sore bones.
Derek stood a distance away from them "I don't want to talk to you. I want to talk to the Alpha. I'll talk to Scott." He argued
Stiles nodded "Okay. I'm going to go get him. My phone's downstairs. Going to call him real quick. You stay here, just don't move, okay? Don't move." He told him as he walked out of the room
Derek sat down on Scott's bed. Alex walked over and sat beside him "I'm sorry I lied . I should have let Scott tell you, but you already looked so upset and I didn't want you to have to hurt anymore" she explained
"What you think because your sister is dead that I shouldn't get to know mine is too?" He spat
Alex mouth gaped open, she looked at him in disbelief. Normal Derek would have never said that, he would have been rude but not cruel. She stood up from the bed, feeling the tears pool her eyes.
Derek looked it realizing what he had said "I'm sorry" he quickly apologized "I didn't mean it I-."
"It's fine" Alex shook her head. Her voice slightly breaking. She turned and went to walk out the door.
The bathroom door creaked and Alex stopped when she heard the sound of footsteps against the floor. She turned around and her breath hitched as she seen Kate argent stood in the same room as her.
"There's my favorite niece" she smirked, her head cocked to the side a little.
Derek looked at Kate, Almost relieved to see a familiar face.
Alex stumbled back. Blinking a few times "You're actually alive" she muttered
"That's right" she nodded "did you miss me?"
Alex couldn't find the words to speak. All that came was the memories of her flooding back,
She tsked"Well I'd hate to cut this short, but I've got somewhere to be"
"Derek, come with me if you want real Answers" she smiled at the him
"Derek you can't trust her. She's sick" Alex glared at her.
He stood up and sided with Kate "I trust her" he nodded "all you have done is lie to me"
"Derek" Alex cautioned "she's not here to help you. It was her who did it, she burnt down your house. She killed your family" Alex tried to convince him to stay
Kate shook her head "more and more lies"
She looked at Derek "she's the one you can't trust.. I mean would you really want to trust someone who caused her sister death?" She asked
Alex let out a breath and just like that a day of normality was quickly taken by the one person she hated most in the world.
Kate walked over towards the window, leading Derek with her "you killed her Alex, it was all you" she spat before climbing out. Derek followed behind her, and just like that they were gone.
Stiles walked in, he looked around "where's Derek?" He asked
Alex stumbled back as Kate's words hit her worse the bullet she put in her over a year ago "em.. Kate" she mumbled "Kate came and he left with her"
"Kates alive" Alex whispered to herself "she's really alive"
