"We can only have one manager on the court." Takeda-sensei regretfully informed Shimizu and yourself.
You bit your lip knowing fully well who it was going to be. "I read about that. I think that Shimizu-san should be on the court."
Her eyes lit up but her overall expression stayed the same. "Really?"
"Isn't that a given?" You patted her shoulder. "If you're out there then the upperclassmen will definitely be motivated. Plus, I'll be up here cheering. There's really no difference."
You were lying. She knew that. There was a difference between being on the court and cheering from the stands, but she was definitely grateful that you were thinking of her. This was her last year and she wanted to experience everything alongside Karasuno's volleyball team.
"Thanks." She gave you a stern nod before walking to the court.
"Cheer loudly." Takeda-sensei laughed amiably before leaving to the main floor.
"Of course!" You clenched your fist. That was a given. No matter where you were, you were going to cheer them on.
After some time had passed, you decided to explore the building a bit.
As you walked alone in the hall, you heard a bunch of girls screaming.
"What's over there?" You observed from a distance and immediately recognized the white jackets.
Aoba Johsai had arrived.
Wanting to avoid them, you quickly turned the corner, but someone excitedly called out to you.
"Medic-chan?" You decided to not look back and began walking up the stairs instead. When you didn't respond, the male frowned. "Maybe I'm wrong?"
"Yahaba." Iwaizumi caught the light-haired boy's attention. "We're not playing yet, so let's go observe."

Once you sat down in the spectator-designated area, you tied up your hair into a messy bun in hopes of no one recognizing you.
"Huh? Who's that?" Hinata was warming up and stared at your figure from a distance.
"Like I would know." Kageyama was practicing his sets. The raven-haired boy obviously didn't spare you a glance, but you didn't know this.
You were ecstatic. "If Kageyama didn't recognize me, then-!"
"Medic-chan~!" Yahaba spotted you from afar. "I knew I saw you earlier."
"What?" You were shocked. How was it that he recognized you so easily?
"Your hair is cute today." The boy seductively made his way over to you—however that would look.
"Oh! It's turnip head!" Hinata called out to the Aoba Johsai player.
"You recognize Kindaichi but not me?" You uttered in disbelief.
"Stop that." A familiar brunette grabbed Yahaba by the collar, peeling him off of you.
"Oh!" Your eyes lit up at your savior. "Iwaizumi-san!"
"You know each other?" Oikawa stared at you for a long minute and then spoke up. "She's not plain at all, good pick Iwa-chan!"
"Hah?!" Iwaizumi's eyebrow twitched. "She's the one I told you about, shittykawa. Udai Tenma's-"
You quickly placed a hand over Iwaizumi's mouth.
"Don't say it out loud." You hushed him. "Keep it... a secret!"
"I know your secret too, Medic-chan." Yahaba stood up and regained his composure. "If you want me to be quiet-"
"Yeah I do, so keep it a secret." You placed a finger to his lips.
The boy blushed a deep crimson.
"Your finger!" Steam was coming from his nostrils. "Your finger touched-!"
"(Name)? What are you doing up there?" Tanaka was rolling his r's. The tough-guy within him was threatening to reveal itself.
"There can't be two managers on the court." You yelled back down. "So I'll cheer from here."
"So that means-!" Tanaka's head whipped around to stare at the bench. "Kiyoko-san's down here!"
He was over-the-moon happy.
"I'll keep you company, pretty lady." Yahaba interrupted you. He was now holding your hand. It was obvious that his ego had grown exponentially.
"No, we're going over there." Iwaizumi dragged the light-haired boy to where their coach was seated, but not before giving you a slight wave.
"How unfair..." You saw tears streaming down from Yahaba's light brown eyes.
"See you later, Medic-chan." Oikawa blew you a flirty kiss before following his childhood friend. "Wait for me, Iwa-chan~!" The boy whined.
You gave a disgusted expression. No one had done anything like that to you before, no one ever had the audacity to blow kisses at you.
As soon as you sat down, your phone repeatedly buzzed. The dream from last night resurfaced. When you unlocked the screen, you revealed not one, not two, but 37 new notifications from CrowChat.
"What the heck." Your sweat dropped as you opened the app.
You didn't even have the chance to read all the messages, or check the person's profile, and saw that they had already given themself a nickname: Best Boyfriend Ever

You quickly slipped your phone into your pocket and returned your attention to the court.
"Let me keep you company." Yahaba magically manifested behind you.
"Kyaa!" You screamed at the male and then quickly covered your mouth. The whole gym was looking in your direction and you were shrinking under their gazes. "So embarrassing."
"You're so cute Medic-chan." The male behind you leaned forward. He was unfazed.
The Karasuno boys on the court recognized your voice.
"That was (Name)-san, wasn't it?" Sugawara asked no one in particular.
"Yeah. She's short but she's obnoxious." Tsukishima shook his head and returned his attention to the other team, who was serving first.

After winning their first match, Karasuno was being put up against Date Tech High School for their second game.
You rushed down to the court in order to stand beside your team for a short while. As you did that, you left your phone on the bench.
It began to vibrate and Karasuno's pinch setter noticed this.
"Hey (Name), your phone is..." He stared at the screen name and trailed off.
'Tetsu-senpai?!' He was extremely upset that you were still in contact with their rival team. ON TOP OF THAT, you were using a nickname for him.
The grey-haired setter ran over to you and blurted, "Add me on CrowChat, (Name)-san. Or better yet, can I have your number?"
Your were surprised, and so were the Karasuno members around you.

Tsukishima looked on curiously and frowned. Despite being a childhood friend, he didn't have your number either.
