Peters POV
5 months and 23 days
That's how long I have been in this hell hole. Everyone says that the Avengers are great people, but they really arent.
Your probably wondering why I know this, or how Im even here. Tony wss friends with my aunt, she asked him to take me if she died. Which she did a couple months later. It vroke my heart and clearly Tonys too. He couldnt even look at me at first. When he did, the look was cold. Im not even sure what I did. Maybe he though it was my fault.
Which he isn't wrong.
"Oi, waste of space, time for school!"
They walked away right after that.
I couldnt tell who it was, didnt matter much either. My routine was the same each day: get up, school, patrol, sleep. Thats if Im lucky at least. Sometimes, Clint and Natasha might use me for practice. Tony and Bruce might ask me to expirment something for them, which might be cool if Idid get hit if the product didnt work right, whixh wasnt even my fault.
Maybe it was.
I got up and ready, I didnt bother going to get food, there wasnt any for me anyways.
"Goodbye, Peter," I heard Pepper cal out to me. I waved in return. She was the only decent person here.
*time skip since the only thing that happens at school is peter getting bullied by flash*
I finished patrol sooner than I wanted to but it was a school night and the later I come home, the worse it is.
I came through my window, probably safer that way. Im surprised that they actually gave me a room to be honest.
*knock* *knock*
Who the fuck?
"Who is it?" I asked. Why do I bother, probably my daily dose of abuse.
"Its me, dickwad! Time for target practice! You know this!" Oh, its Clint.
I hurrily changed, and came out of my room. He was waiting for me.
*SMACK*
I bit my lip to keep my scream silent. Why else would he had stayed..
"Whats the point of you having powers if your not going to use them? Huh!? Hurry up next time!" Then he left, I know he was expecting me to follow him. I did, I really hope Natasha had a good day.
We arrived at the gym quicker than I hoped. Natasha was there, warming up.
"Ah! So you decided to bring our favorite target, eh Clint?" She asked him. He nodded.
*SMACK*
Ok what did I do to Natasha to deserve that?
"Do a lap while Clint warms up, then get in position!" She barked at me. I noded and wasted no time to take the lap, I wanted to take my time but alas, that would ensure me getting another slap.
My lap was finished in no time because of my powers so I was done before Clint. I then got in position and waited for Clint to get done. In practice, I run back and forth at different speeds. and they well, they try to hit me. Most of the time they hit me a couple hundred times and then send me off with a smack, I'm sure this time will be no different.
6 months and 26 days
Another month has past and my routine has stayed the same. For the most part. Get up, go to school, get beat up by Flash, go on patrol, come home, get beat or used for something, sleep, repeat.
8 months and 3 days
2 months, same schedule, I'm pretty sure I'm getting beat more. they don't care about me so why did they take me in? Did they expect something from me?
I'm just a waste of space.
Clint and Natasha have been using me for practice more often, if I didn't have super healing, I'm sure my friends would be worried. Right?
I don't deserve my powers.
Tony and Bruce use me for testing more, too. Last time I heard them talk about starting experiments.
10 months
I decided to walk home today, no point in patrolling they would find out. Last month they banned me from doing so. Said I wasn't doing any good with the powers I know nothing about.
Maybe their right.
To- Mr. Stark took back the suit he 'gave' me. The only reason I had it was he was testing out new tech. Only had it for 5 hours. I put my head down, I wanted to get away from them, but I had no place to go. As I was walking I noticed a matted flyer, torn a bit by how many people had walked on it. I picked it up.
Intern Wanted at Nelson and Murdock Law Firm!

I could check it out, at least. I found the address easily on my flip phone. It was the best I had convinced Mr. Stark to get me. Or Pepper convinced him. I got directions from Maps to the firm.
10 months and 3 days
When I arrived at the firm the other day, the receptionist had given me a form to fill out and said they would call me if I got the internship.
*ring* *ring*
I held my breath and answered tge phone.
"Hello, is this Peter Parker?" The lady asked. I reconginzed it as the lady I met the other day, Karen.
"Yes, Ma'am," I answered.
"Im callong to tell you that you got the internship, you start Friday!"
"Really!? That's great! Ill see you then!"
We said our goodbyes and I hung up. I couldnt wait until Friday, 3 days...
10 months and 30 days.
I walked into my my room. I had just gotten back from my internship at the law firm. Surprisingly, Im able to do it without getting beat.
"Cmon Parker! Use your speed and hurry up! We have a team practice!" Steve yelled through the door. I heard him walk away.
Team practice? I thought. Thats new..
I hurried down because I knew that if I was late it would be Steve dealing with me. I shuddered at the thought.
I got down to the gym fairly quickly and saw all of them already doing individual training. Either waiting for me or this is what team training is like. I wouldnt know, this is the first time Ive been invited. I took a lap like I normally do with Natasha and Clint, wrong thing.
"Hey kid! What the hell you doing? Get over here!" Tony yelled at me. I stopped and came over.
*SMACK*
"Thats for not listening," he told me as I held my cheek.
"Sir, I- I dont know what you mean I want given any instructions," I said queitly.
*SMACK*
"Thats for talking back," he told me.
Im not sure what happened, but somethibg in me snapped.
"I wasnt talking back, I was explaining. This is talking back. I dont know what i did to you hut you werent like this before. Im not sure if you blame me for Mays death or what, but I didnt do anything to you! Any of ypu! The only decent person here is Pepper and she is only here once or twice a month! If it wasnt for my powers, the bruises I get from living here would be endless. The arrow marks and knife cuts would be unimaginable!" I was crying at this point and Im pretty sure I was about to get smacked. "Im joy sure if you know this but I don't need you guys! I dint need people who arent going to appreciate me!" I ran out after that. I never looked back.
*1 month later*
1 month and 6 days
"Peter! Breakfast!" Matt called to me.
"Coming!" I yelled back.
I came bounding down the stairs happily.
"How are you today Peter?" He asked me.
"Im great, thanks."

Im not really sure what happened after I ran from the Avengers. I came to the firm and I told them what had happened. Everythibg that had happened. Matt had quickly took me in. Eventually, about 2 weeks after I had left the Avengers had come to their senses and apologized for everything, though they never explained why they acted that way.
I forgave them. (He is Peter Parker its in his nature.) Though, I stayed with Matt and contiued work at the firm. Tony did end up giving back the suit he had given me that I had for a fee hours that one day, a apology gift, he had said.
Its been a total of 11 months and 6 days since Aubt May died of cancer. And I wouldnt have had this journey another way.
