"Desgracia.."
Burning fury courses through Maria as she flashed the platinum blonde queen standing modestly a few yards away from her shackled form a dangerous look; her scowl so alarming tiny bits of frost had escaped Elsa's fingertips.
But the King of Spain, King Matteo, shot his daughter a warning glare, thus making the cuffed princess squirm in her kneel.
"Don't worry, Queen Elsa. I believe I shall take it from here," Matteo gave the ice queen an apologetic look, "I apologize deeply on my daughter's behalf. I'm the cause of her current behavior. I've fed the growing greed in her heart for too much it led to this.. This mess." the burly dark haired man sighed.
"There is no apology needed, King Matteo. It is your daughter's fault and nobody else's, all were her doing. So please, don't apologize on her behalf."
"I think this is the reason why your entire kingdom admires you, my queen. Your forgiving heart is just too much."
"I appreciate your words, King Matteo. I now bid you a farewell to your voyage, and do make sure she has a view on the ship."
"Thank you, my queen. Goodbye."

Her fingers played with her husband's black hair as he lay on the hard planes of his stomach with his head on her lap, his throaty snores making Elsa suppress a laugh.
She did not even bothered to think how he could take a nap on her ice dress when he should prefer the snug and warm blankets than her cold, elegant, icy blue skirt.
"The twins wore him out, didn't they?" Anna chuckled, her head against her sister's shoulder, "Poor guy. And I thought those documents were worse."
"Those are just the basics, Anna. The twins had wrapped their fingers around their daddy." Elsa smiled.
"And soon, Kristoff will be one too."
"He'll make a great father, Anna."
"That's not technically what I'm worried about. I'm worried about telling him.."
"You have absolutely nothing to worry about."
"I'll have nothing to worry about once I know full well I'll make a mother even just half the mother you are. I don't know... You're just so perfect and loving and warm to both Aria and Chandler, I want to be the same. There's not even a time you have failed them."

"Els? Els, are you listening?"
"Mh? A-ah, yes, yes, Anna. I am. I'm just... e-exhausted, from Maria's trial. I had to debate with Sir Garrett about less barbaric punishments since he had insisted something a bit too cruel."
"Ever the bad liar, are you, sis?" Anna frowned, "There's something wrong and I can sense it. You stuttered. I'm far harder to trick with that— that mask you have mastered to put on. You better know that."
"..."
"Elsa, what's wrong? Is there something you're not telling me? Aiden? Mama and Papa?" Anna grimaced, "I thought we're over with secrets!"
"W-well, I'm not as perfect as you think I am, Anna. I-i... I have failed one of my children for just one moment and I do not wish to recall it, p-please."
The tears streaming down her sister's now flushed face made Anna's defense wear down, her hands now going up to her sister's shoulders to grip them tightly, her turquoise blue eyes now traveling up to meet her sister's deep blue ones, firmly focusing on them just to add that genuine effect— you're imperfect, but I still love you.
"Elsa, if you do not have the heart to tell anyone, tell me. I'm your sister— I don't give a damn if you're already married, I have authority over anyone else to talk to you so closely like this. What happened? What are you keeping away?"
Why are you shutting me out again?
"... A-auriana.."
"What about Aria?" asked Anna slowly.
"... Anna.. I can't.."
"You can, Elsa! It's all in your head. Don't let your fear get to you again. Do you wish to waste another thirteen years?"
"No."
"Then tell me."
Where should I get the courage to confess that your niece almost died before my very presence?
"A-auriana almost d-died... Right after her birth."
The dominant swelling in Anna's chest can never heighten her sister's trembling frame and those abundant waterfalls cascading down her cheeks. Anna did not see a queen; she did not see that perfect woman who had faced countless foes and saved their lands from washing away into wastes— she saw Elsa, who is facing a haunting nightmare.
Elsa tried not to think about the yelling of the surgeons.
Elsa tried not to think about her son's loud, helpless bawling in her arms as they both watched the horrifying scene of the newest princess being revived by Ingrid herself.
But she failed.
Because it was so close.
And this time, she's the one bawling— she's the one who needs someone to hold onto.
But in the midst of her tears, two pairs of arms; the other soft and warm while the other bold but weak against his wife's touch—held her body close in between.
And soon, the pain that had haunted her began to die into nothing.
Because it was how the little princess quickly placed in her arms wrap her little embonpoint hand around her mother's index finger.
And it was how she flashed her a gummy, toothless smile that says—
Author's Note: EYOOOO, folks! And so I live. I'm sorry for the slow update, but again, I LIVE. And no, it's not like my heart was being torn apart as I was writing this. Uh, no, I wasn't near to tears either.
I'm so thankful that I don't have classes for three days. I'll have the time to update more.
Okay so, I've planned the plot for this chapter for a while now (When I was reviewing for my quizzes this is literally my agressive idea that needed to be written down by my itching fingers but hell nah my cellphone was locked away because there's this thing called SCHOOL.)
