Blaine's parents had plans to have dinner with my parents. After another night where he held me the entire night long, I had a better idea.
"Are your parents busy helping with Savannah's arrangements?" I asked as we laid in bed this morning.
"No, my uncles are making arrangements. My father offered to pay for everything and they'll go to the funeral home tomorrow." He said.
I started reaching for my phone. "What are you doing?" He asked.
"I need to call your mother," I said.
He had a smile on his face. "You are conjuring something up." He accused, and he was right.
"Will hasn't had many happy memories of leaving that cabin other than for school. I want to invite your parents and mine to brunch at the levy, then to the aquarium. I think we all need an activity to take our minds off everything." I said, and he thought about it.
"If you can get my parents to agree, I think its a good idea." He said.
I winked at him and smiled. "I'm full of good ideas."
That's a lie, look who got knocked up outside a club in my ex-boyfriend's car.
When I called his mom, she said it was a great idea, then I went to tell my parents and Will, and they all agreed. Dad, Blaine, and Eli took Will outside to toss the ball, while Mom and I got ready. Jessica has called a few times to check up on Eli and me both, she's out of town for work, and Eli isn't going today. He has things to do for work today and will probably leave before us.
My parents drove separately and met us at the aquarium. Will seemed excited to see the sharks and penguins, so I think this is a good idea. His parents were already at the restaurant at Newport on the Levy when we arrived, and Blaine made the introductions.
"I have been away so long, that I never even knew this existed. It's such a neat area." Amelia said.
"Yeah, its fun down here on the river," I said.
We all sat down and Blaine is his usual quiet self when others are around, then the waitress came quickly to take our orders.
Blaine hasn't even formally asked me to marry him yet, but our mothers are already planning our wedding. With my pregnancy, it needs to be soon, and Amelia suggested we do it here in Kentucky where we can get things done a little faster than New York. Everyone's top priority is to have the wedding before I begin to show my pregnancy.
Blaine sat quietly, but reached over and held my hand. All the wedding talk is making me nervous. So many things have happened, and my life is changing rapidly.
We ate lunch, then walked over to the aquarium. Will was excited, and we went from one exhibit to another while Blaine held my hand. At one point, he leaned over and whispered that he rented us a hotel suite for the night.
Carter looked relaxed in a pair of jeans and a smile on his face. It's easy to see he is happy to have his grandson back in his life. Amelia had her moments, but I could tell her daughter and sister are weighing heavily on her mind.
When we were done, we went to my parents to collected our things for the night, then we went to the hotel. Will wanted to swim in the indoor pool, so Blaine and I sat back and watched while he swam with some other kids.
"Today was a good idea." He said as he watched Will playing.
"Yeah, we needed to do something to break up all this grief," I said.
We ate dinner at the hotel, then got Will to sleep pretty early in his own room. Blaine pulled me outside to the balcony and I know what is about to happen. He looked down at me and smiled as the cool fall air gave me a shiver.
"We can go back inside if you're cold." He said.
I shook my head. "No, this is perfect."
"Well, you know what I'm about to do. Hell, the wedding is already being planned. When I talked to your dad, he gave me some advice. He said to be blunt and always be honest with you, and we will have a happy life. Cora, I'm as excited to marry you as I am to hold this baby. Will you marry me?"
He pulled out a box and opened it. The ring was nothing compared to the smile on Blaine's face when I accepted.
"Yes, I can't wait to be your wife," I said, and he smiled as he slid the ring on my finger. He quickly pulled me into a kiss that just confirmed that I'm making the best decision of my life.
"I love you," I whispered between kisses, and he said the same.
His strong arms lifted me up and carried me to our bedroom inside the suite. I couldn't help but stare at him. He looks happy, despite all we have been through lately. When he crossed the threshold of our room, he used his foot to shut the door, then set me down on my feet.
I slowly undressed as he watched, then reached up and unbuttoned his shirt. One by one, his bare chest was slowly exposed to me. He kicked his shoes off and quickly finished undressing, before I took him by surprise and pushed him down on the bed.
At first, he had that look of surprise, but then smiled when I climbed on top of him and kissed from his chest up until I reached his lips. A deep kiss rewarded me with a deep moan as I lifted up and sunk him inside of me.
"Oh, god." He whispered as I took him deeper and deeper very slowly.
I smiled down at him, but he reached for my face and started pulling it down toward him.
"You're amazing, Cora." He whispered, just before our lips met and he kissed me. I slowly moved my hips and took my time making love to him. Every single time he goes deep inside me, my body wants to shiver. I rested my head against him when he reached behind me and squeezed my ass, then suddenly starts thrusting himself in and out of me with a speed I would have thought was impossible.
"Please, It's starting." I was breathing hard as my head still rested against his.
"Oh, God, Cora. You're so tight." He whispered.
I can feel something big happening, as he continued thrusting from under me.
"I love you, please don't stop, " I begged him in a whisper, and his moans turned into cries of pleasure as my body exploded on top of him.
"Jesus Christ." He grunted as I was at my highest point. "You're so wet, Oh my God." He said as I couldn't form any words.
The moment my body relaxed he flipped us around and bent me over. His hand laid over our baby as he slammed into me from behind.
"Am I hurting you?" He asked as he gave me one glorious thrust after another.
"No, do it." I said, and I felt his body tighten.
"Ah, God!" His body shook as he paused and held on to my hips for dear life. I looked behind me and saw his jaw dropped, his eyes squeezed shut, and when he opened his eyes and looked at me, my heart was about to explode. I did that to him, my body created that reaction. Blaine was in heaven and I took him there.
He pulled me up and turned my head to kiss me, then rested his head against mine. "I can't believe you're going to let me do that the rest of our lives." He said as he is out of breath.
"Gladly." I said just before he kissed me once again.
