❝𝕀'𝕞 𝕤𝕥𝕣Ω𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣, 𝕞Ω𝕣𝕖 𝕔α𝕡α𝕓𝕝𝕖.❞
It was my last fight for the day and I was standing by the left arch waiting for Present Mic to call me out.
I wasn't sure who I was going to be fighting next but even though the person was standing by the right arch and in the darkness away from me, I could somewhat feel them shooting daggers in my direction.
It felt as if they were ready to defeat me and ready to claim their chance of going to one of the most prestigious schools, probably UA, but their overall performance depended on that and with the fights that I've seen today, I wouldn't deny that choosing people would be a tough decision.
Still, I knew that I was ready to get where I wanted. My performance wasn't bad today but it wasn't my overall best. Nevertheless and through it all, I could still hear my family and pack cheering me on telling me to win my last fight and make it my best.
My name was called first and I made my way to the center of the arena. My eyes roamed the place and I could see people clapping and of course, I could hear all of their encouraging words. The side where most of the wolves of my pack were seated, however, made the most noise and I definitely didn't miss where my father was standing next to Hisashi Midoriya.
Present Mic spoke up again and directed his hand to the right arch. It wasn't hard to miss the way most people were holding forward in their seats, especially my pack so they could see who I was going to take on next.
I turned my attention to the figure that was now walking into the center of the arena, my direction. I had to admit that I was quite shocked to see my somewhat potential mate walking toward me and now standing in front of me.
He didn't wear the usual glare or incredible bland face when he was standing there. I couldn't quite tell the expression that he was wearing anyway. It seemed almost neutral.
Present Mic's voice sounded out in the arena again telling us the usual. It was soon that the timer had reached zero so it was time for us to start.
None of us made a move yet and I don't know why I was quite hesitant to begin. Was it because we could be mates sometime in the future? I don't know what it was but I couldn't have these thoughts stop me from winning.
I sent my ice toward him but in a split second, I noticed the shards flying everywhere. Behind them, I noticed the Omega standing, his head low and his hand raised directed at me.
At this action, I could tell that there was a look of surprise on my face. Even after watching his earlier matches, I still found myself being surprised by the way he handles his fights.
I wasn't expecting it. I couldn't stop the chuckle and the smug grin that left me when I raised my hand again, sending my ice toward him.
Now that I was looking forward to it, he did the same thing he did before, breaking through my ice.
I wasn't going to use my fire just yet, I couldn't. I'm not trying to sound more Superior than anyone here but even the average person knows that a fight between an Alpha and Omega couldn't be that much of a fair fight. Still, now that I've thought about it, Biology had nothing to do with anything. It all depended on that person.
I began running forward, using my ice to help but he still managed to breakthrough. There was no way that I could've missed the glare that he shot my way after he avoided my shot.
At this point, he began to move and in a split second, I felt like the wind was being knocked out of me when his fist collided with my stomach, instantly shooting me back. I had to quickly use my ice to break my fall so I wouldn't get hurt as much.
As I was getting up, I saw the Omega standing in front of me with his hands folded in fists. My body was forcefully pushed to the ground before he grabbed on to my outfit and raised his folded hand above my face.
"Why are you holding back?" He questioned. A growl left me as I shot my ice in his direction, the impact causing him to fall back.
I stalked toward him, my teeth bared as I looked at him. I raised my hand again, getting ready to use my ice, expecting him to breakthrough like what he did before. What I wasn't expecting was the growl that left him as he shot daggers in my direction.
"It is because I'm an Omega?!" He shouted before punching me again. I was getting tired of this and I could tell that he was too. It was time to end this and I knew it.
"Come at me with everything that you got." He began and I watched as sparks began to emit from him as he got his body ready to use his power. "Omega or not, you will fight me to your full potential."
Power and knowing. That is exactly what I like to see. My opponent standing in front of me is a person who doesn't let Biology define who they are.
I felt when the corner of my lips upturned as I got myself ready to use my fire. If this is what you want, you can guarantee that you will get it. I'm sorry for giving you half of what I got, especially to someone who knows their worth.
I raised my hands, sending my ice toward the Omega who had a smirk on his face. I watched as he got himself ready to use his quirk, standing in a way, directing himself at me. I sent my ice toward him, my fire following after not once holding back as I released all that I had, feeling the impact of both our powers.
It was only, that at the end of it all, I noticed that Midnight and another known wolf, Cementos, had included themselves in our fight.
My eyes travelled around the arena as I stood up and I didn't miss the way that my opponent unconsciously slid down the wall, his head lowered.
Still, this was a good fight and even though I won, I expect to see someone like this wolf in a school like UA.
"What was going through both of your minds when you were down there?" I heard Midoriya asked as we walked to the infirmary. I only thought that it would be a good thing I came, especially with the way that the fight had turned out.
"It's a good thing that Cementos and Midnight came in they could or you boys possibly would've killed each other." My father added as we now stood in front of the infirmary doors. I ignored what else the two of them said as I opened the doors and walked in, seeing my past opponent on the bed lying down with whom I assumed to be his mother.
Upon our entries, their heads turned to us and I was quite surprised to see the smile on the other's face when he was talking to his mother. It quickly dropped, however, when he saw the three of us walk up to his bed.
When his parents and my father was speaking with each other, my eyes caught the way that his hands were bandaged up and the few scratches that were on his face. I think he noticed me staring though because I heard a scoff leave him before he turned his head away.
"Don't stare," He grumbled before looking down at his bandaged hands. I didn't put up much of a fight when I nodded and averted my eyes from him.
I was about to speak up but his father beat me to it when he went to the opposite side of the bed and lightly ruffled his son's hair.
"How are you feeling kid?" His father asked him and he shrugged in return.
"It's fine." He replied before looking away. "It hurts a bit but I think Deku is taking on most of the pain." He added and then his eyes travelled to his bandaged hands once more.
Conversation was going on in the room between him, his parents and my father for a few minutes. I didn't say anything at all but I listened to them speak.
Soon, they left the room and the two of us were the only ones remaining. I then looked at him thinking it would be best to say something of the sort. After all, we were potential mates so why not say something now?
"What school would you like to attend?" I asked the first thing that came to my mind. Upon hearing this, I noticed the way he looked at me. His lips parted and his eyebrows scrunched up like he was deep in thought or somewhat surprised that I even said anything. Still, I guess I was more surprised that he answered me.
"UA," He said before using his shoulder to wipe his face. "I want to be the first Omega to ever attend to such a school and prove that I can be as good as any other wolf."
With the way that he handled his fights throughout the day, I wasn't surprised to hear such an answer. If he does happen to get into UA, he would be the first Omega to attend and that's something that is really big.
I nodded after I heard what he just said before speaking up. "I do think that you can get in. Actually, it wouldn't be a surprise if you do." At my words, his head quickly shot up from his lap. He looked like he was lost in thought since he stared at me longer than intended before he quickly looked away.
"Something wrong?" I asked since I didn't hear an answer from him. He shook his head before turning his attention back to me, beginning to speak up.
"I guess I wasn't expecting an answer like that from an Alpha." He hummed before using his shoulder to rub his ear since he couldn't use his hands.
My brows furrowed at what he said before I raised one. "Well," I started before shrugging my shoulders. "I guess it's expected since what is said about most Alphas." I continued before running a hand through my hair. "but I guess it was proven that our Biology was just written by man. We don't necessarily have to follow it." I hummed before thinking about it more.
"And I think that you proved it today." I ended off before standing up. It was almost time to go home since all the fights were over by now. All we had to do now was wait and see what school we were going to be attending.
I stood by the door, opening it before giving one last look to the surprised person laying in the bed. "Good fight today Midoriya and I look forward to many more." With that said, a small smile formed on my face before I left the room, shutting the door behind me.
✧🌙Did you just smile?🌙✧ I heard my wolf asked as I began to walk away from the infirmary. I sighed and dropped my head in my hand, continuing to walk looking for the rest of my pack.
✧🌙I didn't.🌙✧ I grumbled and before he could speak up, I continued. ✧🌙Less talking.🌙✧ I said before I closed our link, stopping him from saying anything more.
It wouldn't be long before we are living away from our homes. I wouldn't deny that I couldn't wait. One last step and that's all that it takes.
