The dulcet tones coming from Europa's wordless melody was soothing to the ears.
Her gentle humming had happiness and there was something blithe about the notes as they resonated with the air.
The little miss of the Wang household was extremely excited as she looked forward to seeing her mother's gowns as well as seeing her in them.
Her eyes seemed joyful as she was certain that she did what she must to get her promised reward.
While waiting for her mother to come out of the bathroom, Europa sat on the bed. She then stared at the apparel boxes containing the gowns.
As curiosity took over her mind, she started to imagine how the gowns look like. Would they be prettier than the big sister's gown?
Absorbed in her deep contemplation, Europa did not right away notice that Misha had climbed up the bed and hid under the covers.
It was only when the feline purr that she noticed her.
"Misha! How are you, girl? Are you here to take a look at my mama's gowns too?" Europa asked as she gently rubbed the cat's face.
"But we are not allowed to touch them, okay? Do you remember what happened earlier? We don't want it to happen again!"
In the middle of her conversation with her pet, the door of the bathroom opened and a Wang Reiji still wrapped in a bathrobe stepped out.
"Mama!"
Europa exclaimed in excitement when she saw her mother was done taking a shower.
"Whoa! You are already in your pajamas! You are really eager to see the gowns, don't you sweetie?" Wang Reiji gently pinched Europa's cheeks.
"But I think you need to wait just a little bit more, mama has to put on her clothes first."
"It's fine with me, mama! I can wait! "
"I'll be quick, so better not fall asleep yet."
Smiling sweetly, Wang Reiji went inside her walk-in closet to don in her evening wear.
After a few minutes, Wang Reiji walked out of the closet. She was still combing her wet hair as she headed toward the boxes.
She picked up the box containing Soar Eterna first. She then took the gown out for Europa to see.
"So, what do you think?" Wang Reiji asked as she swirled around with the gown.
"I love the color, mama! Hmm is that a bird? I haven't seen it before." Europa was curious about the gown's design.
"This is the Phoenix. It is a mythical bird comparable to the Chinese dragon." Wang Reiji explained as she showed the design embroidered on the back part of the gown.
"Phoenix... It looks magical just like the unicorn! Please wear it, mama! I want to see you in it."
"Okay, hang on. Just stay here and wait to be surprised!"
Wang Reiji then hurriedly went back inside her walk-in closet to put on Soar Eterna.
However, when she stepped out the door's closet, her number one fan had already fallen fast asleep.
"Aww, my lovely child. You must be so tired today."
Wang Reiji said as she bent over to plant a kiss on her daughter's forehead before returning to the closet again.
As soon as she stepped in, Wang Reiji gracefully strode toward the life-size mirror at the end of the room.
As he started to stare herself at the mirror, she can't help but feel amazed by her looks.
She looked ethereal and fierce in Soar Eterna. Her eyes twinkled as she was really pleased about it.
However, the joy she felt instantly faded when she remembered that there were still issues with Lady Tong of the Queen's Wardrobe.
She sighed deeply as she took the gown off and hang it for a second while she changed back to her evening wear.
After she wore her clothes on, she carefully folded Soar Eterna.
When she was about to put it back, she noticed a piece of paper underneath the thin sheets of tissue inside the apparel box.
As her eyes settled at the paper, her instincts commanded her to pick it up and read its content.
