By the time they got home, night already had fallen and the city lights cast light in the darkness of the road.
"Mama! Mama! Let me see your gowns."
Europa tiptoed as she reached up to the boxes, hoping to see her mother's purchased clothing.
"I'll show them to you later, but you have to take your dinner first and wash after, okay?" Wang Reiji said as she carefully put the boxes down.
"Good evening CEO Wang!" Ai greeted Wang Reiji warmly.
"Good evening, Miss Europa!" Bai said with a bright smile on her face.
After greeting the mother and daughter pair, the twins quickly carried the boxes.
They then carefully walked back inside the mansion while Europa followed closely behind them.
"What a cute girl! She totally forgot her pet!" Wang Yuvin just went back from parking the car.
"You can't blame her! Little girls really like the princess vibe the gowns give." Wang Reiji then took Misha from her brother's arms.
"I think girls don't need to wear such just to feel they are royalty."
"Tsk! Why so serious, bro? But I do agree with you. We don't need to wear gowns to get that princess feel." Wang Reiji voiced out her agreement with Wang Yuvin's words.
"Anyway, why didn't you introduce yourself to Chairman Kiang's granddaughter? You know what? I have been waiting for you to come to her and say: Hello, I saved your life, can you please not ask for any compensation at all?!"
Wang Reiji had just expressed the thought that was bugging her all throughout their way back home.
After hearing his sister's words, Wang Yuvin laughed. He laughed not just because what Wang Reiji said was funny.
He laughed to hide the growing fondness in his eyes when his sister mentioned Chairman Kiang's granddaughter.
Unfortunately, before he can even hide it, Wang Reiji had already seen through him.
"Right now, I am slightly disappointed in you sis. Weren't you the one who taught me to help without asking anything in return?" Wang Yuvin started teasing his sister, hoping to change the topic.
"When did I tell you that? As far as I can remember, I taught you to be shameless! Hmm... Or could it be that you got shy in front of her? By the way, I caught her staring at you."
Wang Reiji had no plans to stop teasing her brother, especially now that she was certain of the budding feeling the young man has for the lady.
However, her phone suddenly rang, making her eyes shift from Wang Yuvin's face to her bag.
"Who could this be?"
Wang Reiji asked as she passed back Misha to her brother and hurriedly took her phone out her bag.
"What is it, Rentao?" Wang Reiji quickly answered the call.
"Boss, I am on my way to Paragon Tower. The head security told me that an old woman is stirring up a scene. I'm not sure with the details yet, but I will update you right away as soon as I get there." Rentao's voice was calm yet a trace of worried can be sensed from it.
"Okay, give me the details later. If it's something major, I'll head there right away."
Wang Reiji started feeling anxious as she ended the call.
Who could this old woman be and what does she need from Oriental Europa anyway?
"Problem, sis?" Wang Yuvin looked at her with concern.
"The details aren't clear yet. Anyway, I might head to Paragon Tower if things escalate."
Wang Reiji answered as she inhaled deeply and put her phone back inside her bag.
