Wang Reiji let out a big yawn before taking a sip from her ice cold coffee.
Because of what happened last night, she wasn't able to get a good night sleep.
She was now also suffering from a hangover thanks to her impulsiveness.
When she woke up this morning, she felt like she lacked the ability to keep her eyes open.
She was really sleepy which was not okay for there was a gown fitting scheduled at 9 am.
But since she wasn't in her best shape today, she asked the gown fitting to be moved in the afternoon.
At first, the couturier refused to accommodate her because a VIP ordered the shop to be exclusively open only for her this afternoon.
However, the couturier suddenly had a change of heart when she found out that the gowns were to be used for Oriental Europa's tv advertisement.
Who wouldn't want free publicity for her business, right? For the couturier, it was like hitting two birds with one stone.
She'll earn from the gowns as well as get free advertisement. Just as when Wang Reiji was about to head upstairs, Wang Yuvin approached her.
"Where are you going, sis?" Wang Yuvin asked when he saw his sister in smart casual attire.
Usually, if Wang Reiji decided to stay inside the house, she just wore a pair of sweatpants and shirt.
"I am going to a couturier. I need to choose a gown for the shoot." Wang Reiji answered as she halted her steps and faced her brother.
"I see. Do you want me to be your driver?"
Wang Reiji paused for a while before she replied, "Aren't you taking care of the hidden passageway?"
"Yes, I did. Everything's taken care of while you were still asleep."
"Really? Well, if that's the case... Yeah sure, accompany us to the shop." Wang Yuvin wrinkled his forehead.
Did his sister say, 'Accompany us?' Who's going with his sister? Noticing the confused look on her brother's face, Wang Reiji immediately clarified things.
"I decided to bring Europa with me... Since last night I felt like taking her with me wherever I might be."
Wang Yuvin took a deep breath before placing his arms across his chest. He then spoke,
"...But don't you think that always bringing Europa with you will just give that man more reason to be suspicious? It's like telling him, Europa's his daughter but you won't be giving him any chance to meet her."
Hearing her brother's feedback, Wang Reiji pursed her lips as she silently contemplated on the things he said. Wang Yuvin had a point.
Zhang Chenric would probably grow more curious as to why she's always bringing her daughter with her.
Plus she doesn't have a man in her life right now-- which was supposed to be a good alibi that would make Zhang Chenric mind his own business.
Deep in her thoughts, she started to regret pursuing business expansion.
But what to do? with 150 000 employees under her wing, this move was inevitable.
"Why is life so damn complicated?" Wang Reiji said with a sigh of frustration.
"How would I know? I am still young, sis." Wang Yuvin answered shrugging his shoulders.
"Err I wasn't asking you... Anyway, get ready. I don't want to be late, the couturier might get the impression that I am a prima-donna and cancel our appointment all of a sudden." Wang Reiji said as she ascended the stairs.
"Don't worry sis, in case that happens, I'll avenge you by taking his business down!" Wang Yuvin said, sounding serious.
Wang Reiji smiled and said, "You are becoming soft now and I like that."
She then continued to walk upstairs leaving a confused Wang Yuvin behind.
When his sister disappeared from his sight, that was when Wang Yuvin understood what his sister meant.
If he was the still the old Wang Yuvin, his answer would have been different.
He would probably say, "That person will cease to exist."
"On the contrary, I think I became more ruthless... Compared to a life full of torture and despair, death is salvation. I'd rather torture my enemies than kill them."
Wang Yuvin murmured to himself as he took big strides toward the mansion's main door.
