🔘Chapter 96 — I Warned You
"Are you kidding? We both made sure that she really was a goner! Aren't you just pulling a trick so that you can have her only for yourself?"
The first man asked, highly doubting his companion's words.
"What nonsense are you sprouting? Do I look like I am fucking kidding you? Come here! Take a look at my wrist!"
The second guy cried out loud, trying so hard to convince the first guy.
However, the guy did not listen to his pleadings.
He instead got closer to Wang Reiji, bent his head down and stretched his arms to reach for Wang Reiji's shoulders.
As his face was just some inches away from her face, he was dragged down to the tabletop. Startled, he was caught off guard.
"Touch me and I will break your damn face." Wang Reiji whispered yet her tone was very threatening.
The man the tried to pull himself away but Wang Reiji's grip was too strong making it hard for him to break free.
"Sorry! Please let go of me.I promise to leave you alone."
The man begged as he was now having hard time catching his breath.
"Very well, now scram!" Wang Reiji yelled at the terrified man.
As soon as the man had broken free from Wang Reiji's grasp, he smirked and immediately grabbed an empty bottle of Vodka.
When he was about to hit her head with the bottle.
Wang Reiji abruptly stood up, knocking his chin with her head causing him to lose his balance and fall down the floor.
"Bitch!" The man cursed at Wang Reiji as he fell hard on the floor while rubbing his aching chin.
"I told you! That bitch is conscious!" The man with the broken wrist cried.
"Silence! Can't a woman have her quiet time alone?"
Wang Reiji growled at them as she struggled to stand firm, forcing her swaying legs to keep still.
Her wobbling body didn't escape the eyes of the man who was just knocked down.
Noticing how she was trying to steady her balance, the guy took the opportunity get back at Wang Reiji.
Eager to get his revenge, stood up and grabbed Wang Reiji's hair.
The moment he had his hand on her he sneered.
"Don't be so cocky! A weak woman like you can never threaten a full grown like me!"
The man's eyes were full of anger at first, however, when his eyes met with Wang Reiji's, the anger in his eyes wavered.
What he saw in her eyes was not what he had expected to see.
What he was hoping to see was a frightened woman but instead got a woman with fearless eyes.
"Full grown man? Yet you dared attack this feeble woman?" Wang Reiji chuckled her hair still being pulled by the man's hand.
"You should have run away when I was still being generous."
Soon after Wang Reiji finished her sentence, she seized the hand that was pulling her hair.
The man tried to avoid her attack but his movements were far too dull allowing Wang Reiji to trap his arms behind his back as she shoved him on top of the table.
"I warned you, didn't I?" Wang Reiji said in a cold tone as she rubbed the guy's face on the table's surface.
She then pulled the guy away from the table and was about to punch him in the stomach when she caught a glimpse of the crowd in her peripheral view.
As she looked around her, she was surprised to see that the crowd's attention was already drawn to them.
She even saw some people recording them, if her hunch was on point, they were probably streaming it live on their social media accounts.
Alarmed, Wang Reiji quickly released the man from her grasp to rush out from the place before things escalated.
However, it seemed like she already used her remaining energy to subdue the guy.
She then lost her balance causing her to stumble almost falling flat on her face.
Fortunately, a strong pair of arms had caught her in time, preventing her from hitting the floor.
Recovering from the shock, she then turned her head to see who her savior was.
Before she can lay her eyes on the person, she heard him say:
"Are they bullying you, my wife?"
🔘Chapter 97 — They Had Done It Many Times
"Are they bullying you, my wife?"
Before Wang Reiji can turn her body around to find out who the person was, his voice had already given his identity away.
"S-sho..." Wang Reiji slightly blushed from embarrassment when she saw who her savior was.
"Why are you here?" She added.
However, Qin Sho did not respond to her. Instead, he removed his coat and draped it over her shoulders.
His eyes then flickered between Wang Reiji's face and the guys who had tried to harm her.
"CEO Qin, I will take care of this. I'll make sure to make them pay for bullying madame."
Bai Wufei, Qin Sho's assistant, said as he loosened his necktie and cracked his knuckles.
"I'll leave them to you then. Teach them a lesson they will never forget."
Qin Sho replied before pulling his sleeves up to carry Wang Reiji in his strong arms.
"Hey! No need to carry me. I can still walk." Wang Reiji protested her cheeks flushed red again.
"You were staggering earlier, that's why you fell down, right?" Qin Sho replied as he strode toward the bar's exit.
"That was earlier, I am okay now." She slightly wiggled, thinking that she can loosen Qin Sho's grip on her.
However, the opposite happened. The more she moved, the tighter his grip became.
"Stay still. Stop moving too much." Qin Sho's voice was gentle yet stern.
Wang Reiji wanted to argue with him, but her head felt really heavy that she can't even think of a good rebuttal. She then heaved a deep sigh.
"Okay then, if you insist."
"Good girl." Qin Sho whispered as he drew her closer to his chest.
Soon after Wang Reiji's ear had been pressed against his chest, she was able to hear and feel the beating of his heart.
Qin Sho's heartbeat seemed to be a comforting sound, sending her the feeling that she was in a safe place, that she was protected.
She also had noticed his soft and peaceful breathing against the top of her head before she sunk into the warmth of his body as sleep and fatigue pooled over her eyelids.
Sensing that the person in his arms had fallen asleep, Qin Sho began to walk slowly, being careful not to disturb her sleep.
He was totally being mindful of his steps that he failed to notice the person who had just entered the bar's entrance the same time he had stepped out from its door exit.

Zhang Chenric was still catching his breath the moment he entered inside the bar.
His eyes then scanned the vicinity to search for Wang Reiji.
Unfortunately, the person he was looking for had already moved past him at the same time he had set foot inside the bar.
"Was he really that woman's husband?" Zhang Chenric heard someone from the crowd said.
"Maybe, she did not resist him when he carried her princess style." Another person amongst the crowd replied.
"I also heard her say the man's name."
Another person had joined the conversation.
"Husband and wife or not, it's none of your business."
Bai Wufei suddenly appeared behind them right after he had disposed of the two guys.
The people who were talking about Qin Sho and Wang Reiji immediately went silent as they recalled how this guy had thrashed the men who bullied the woman.
They then exchanged glances at each other before they decided to escape the scene.
For whatever reason, Zhang Chenric somehow felt that the woman they were referring to was Wang Reiji.
However, the idea that a man, the woman's alleged husband had shown up to pick her up, threw him into confusion.
Frustrated at the same time experiencing jet lag, he pulled his phone, or what initially he thought was his, out from his coat's pocket.
When he was about to dial his assistant's number a sudden realization had hit him when he saw a photo of a lovely little girl on the phone's screen.
The phone he was holding wasn't his. It was Wang Reiji's.
He then heaved a sigh of disappointment before his eyes had locked into the screen of Wang Reiji's phone.
If Wang Yuvin wasn't her husband, who's the father of her child? His heart suddenly skipped a beat when the possibility that the little girl was his daughter had crossed his mind.
According to Lee Qingya's report, the little girl just turned five this year.
Zhang Chenric swallowed an invisible lump in his throat, he and his beloved had done 'that' many times.
They did it inside his office, his car, on his bed, and even inside his father's office.
Could that little girl with plump cheeks and pretty face be his child?
His weary face immediately brightened.
He then returned the phone to his pocket and started to walk away from the bar as he thought of heading to Wang Reiji's villa.
🔘Chapter 98 — Don't Turn Around
Qin Rong was lying on his bed, lazily scrolling down the list of trending posts in the cyber world.
While he was looking for something to pique his interest as he waited for Reign of Violence's daily reset, he came across a link with a relatively high number of likes and comments.
"This seems intriguing." Qin Rong told to himself before he tapped the link entitled: Mr. and Mrs. Badass.
As soon as the link had loaded, a window had popped up the screen and showed a video about five minutes long.
He then played the video. However, to his dismay, the video quality was substandard.
It seemed like the device used to record the footage had low specs.
Still that setback didn't stop him from watching the video.
"This will do the trick!" Qin Rong murmured as he used a video quality enhancer tool to sharpen the video image.
When he was about to play the newly enhanced video, his phone buzzed.
His older brother had just sent him a text message stating that he'd be home late.
Right after he received the text, Qin Sho sent a reply right away so that he can go back to watching the video peacefully.
The moment his eyes landed on the screen, his jaw dropped.
"B-big brother is Mr. Badass?!" Qin Rong cannot believe that his low key brother became the talk of the town all of a sudden.
"But wait a minute, who's the girl?"
Qin Rong asked himself as he squinted his eyes to carefully examine the woman in the video.

"Everything's been taken care of, CEO Qin."
Bai Wufei said as he stepped inside the black Mercedes Benz and sat in the front passenger seat.
"Very well. Let's now head to Wang Residence." Qin Sho lowered his voice when he gave his instruction.
"Okay, CEO Qin. I'll be in charge of the directions to the villa."
Bai Wufei replied before showing the chauffeur the map of the Wang Residence.
After familiarizing the sketch, the chauffeur placed his hand on the ignition key to start the engine.
Just about the same time the car engine roared, Qin Sho spoke.
"Drive safely." Qin Sho reminded his driver, his eyes not leaving Wang Reiji whose head was resting in his lap.
"Understood, sir." His driver replied as he placed his hands behind the steering wheel and gazed straight ahead.
When the car had finally moved, Qin Sho straightened his coat that was covering Wang Reiji's lower extremities.
His movements were swift and heedful so as not to disturb her slumber.
Right after he had finished what he was doing, Wang Reiji suddenly moved her legs, startling Qin Sho.
"..." Qin Sho just paid little attention to it for he was already done fixing the coat which served as her blanket.
However, her following movements almost gave Qin Sho a heart attack.
Wang Reiji began to spread her legs as wide as she could.
She even lifted her left leg up causing Qin Sho's coat to slide against her dress and fall down the car floor.
When Qin Sho was about to bend down and reach for his coat.
Wang Reiji bent her other leg, causing the skirt of her lace cheongsam dress to rise higher and expose her undergarment.
Qin Sho's breath quicken as the enticing view unfolded before his very eyes.
The woman beside him was wearing a black lace short panties which perfectly complimented her flawless white skin.
Being the gentleman that he was, Qin Sho didn't want to take advantage of Wang Reiji.
So he had chose to avert his eyes from the sinful scenery.
"C-crank the aircon up! It suddenly became hot in here." Qin Sho ordered his assistant.
"And don't you dare turn your heads toward our direction." Qin Sho added.
"Understood."
Bai Wufei and the driver almost answered in unison as they silently exchanged glances with each other.
"Whew... What a tease!"
Qin Sho mumbled to himself as tiny beads of sweat rolled down his face while he was picking his coat up to cover Wang Reiji's exposed body parts.
Soon after he survived the calamity, his phone suddenly rang. It was his younger brother Qin Rong calling.
Qin Sho smiled as he heaved a sigh of relief. His brother had called at a very crucial moment.
If he had called a little later, his agony might have been prolonged.
Thanks to Qin Rong, he can now divert his attention to calm himself and his third leg down.
🔘Chapter 99 — Explain Or Divorce?
"Are you still on a date, Mr. Badass?!" Qin Rong didn't even bother greeting his older brother as soon as their communication lines got connected.
"Huh?" Qin Sho's forehead slightly creased as disappointment took over his excitement whilst thinking that his brother had probably dialed the wrong number.
"I am your older brother, not Mr. Badass." Qin Sho replied as he sat up straight and gazed outside the car window.
"Yes, I am perfectly aware of that. But are you also aware that you are now virtually known as Mr. Badass?"
Qin Rong asked as he scrolled down the comment section and took some screenshots.
"By the way, are you with Mrs. Badass? Who is she? The video quality is bad so I can't clearly see her face."
"Huh? What Mr. and Mrs. Badass? What video?"
Qin Sho wore a puzzled expression and became more confused than he already was.
"Your video is all over the net. I will send you the link. Go check it for yourself." Qin Rong was about to send the link to his brother when he got interrupted.
"Don't send the link to me, send it to Bai Wufei instead." Qin Sho spoke a bit louder so that his assistant can hear him
"Wufei, check the link that my brother will send you. He was talking about a video. Investigate it for me." Qin Sho said to his assistant.
"Right away, CEO Qin."
Bai Wufei did not waste any second and hurriedly opened the link he received from Qin Rong.
"I already sent the video, bro. Call or text me after you finished watching it, okay?"
"I will be home in an hour. Let's just talk later." Qin Sho paused before he added, "Please tell Yuvin that his sister is with me."
Qin Sho then ended the call before instructing Bai Wufei to mirror the video to the car's tv.
"Connect your phone to the car's USB cable. I'd like to see whatever is in that link."
The efficient assistant did what he was told and in no time the video had started playing on the car tv's screen.

"Why is Hanzo not picking up his damn phone?" Wang Yuvin scowled, this was his nth attempt to connect to Hanzo.
Worried and frustrated he slammed his body down his bed and huffed.
He wanted to search for his sister but his gut feeling was telling him not to leave Europa behind.
While he was contemplating what his next course of action would be, his phone rang.
He then immediately answered the call without even glancing at the call register.
"Hey, bro! I have news for you!" The owner of the cheerful voice was none other than Qin Rong.
"Can you call me some other time? I need to keep my communication line open just in case my sister tries to contact me. She is not home yet and her phone is in the hands of a stranger."
"Hahaha you worry too much! Your sister and my brother just went out for a date."
Thinking that Qin Rong was joking him, Wang Yuvin became irritated.
"I'm not in the mood for your jokes. If you have nothing important to say, I will hang up now."
"Hold on! Sorry if I wasn't straight to the point. Actually, I called you because my brother Sho told me to. He said sister Reiji is with him."
"R-really? How sure are you that your brother is not lying?"
"Wow, I did not know that you have trust issues bro! But like you, I also doubted my brother. But when I watched the video again, I was able to recognize that the woman in my brother's arms is sister Reiji."
"Video? What video? Explain the details carefully."
Wang Yuvin had just calmed down but the word video threw his mind into panic once more.
"I don't want to explain the details! Just watch it! I will send you the vid-
"You will explain or I will divorce you in Reign of Violence? Your choice!" Wang Yuvin ran out of patience.
"Waaaa bully!" Qin Rong shrieked.
"Good luck finding a strong wife. I am hanging up now!"
"Nooooo! I will narrate everything! Just don't divorce me! Please my beloved wife!"
"Hmm okay. I will give you three minutes to explain. You have to finish before RoV's reset."
Right after he was done speaking, a soft knock on the door snatched his attention.
"Hang on, someone's knocking on my door."
"Yeah, I heard that too. Get it. I can wait."
Before walking to the front door, Wang Yuvin glanced at the CCTV monitor and saw Ai and Bai standing in front of his room.
"Is there a problem?" Wang Yuvin immediately asked when he opened his door.
"Good evening, master. Sorry for disturbing your rest. But someone is insisting to get inside the villa." Ai spoke first.
"According to the guards, the man told them that CEO Wang's mobile phone is in his possession. Also, he would like to personally give the phone to her thus requesting permission to enter the gate."
Bai carefully relayed the information to Wang Yuvin.
"Hmm were the guards able to get the guy's name?"
"Yes, master. The man also gave them his ID as well." Bai replied.
"The man's name is Zhang Chenric. And we already did a background check..."
Wang Yuvin did not wait for Ai to finish talking. He then rushed down, his fists clenched, his top and bottom teeth pressed hard in silent fury.
Unknown to him, a pair of worried orbs was observing him from inside his room.
"Uncle Yuvin looks really scary! But why does he look super angry?"
Europa whispered to herself as her grip tightened around her plushies.
🔘Chapter 100 — No Need To Verify
Wang Reiji's slow and shallow breaths pummeled with her heart beat as her consciousness drifted in to dreamland where a fragment of her memory suddenly started playing inside her head.
"Oi, Xing Yin! Are you sure your plan is gonna work? Let's not make trouble for ourselves!"
"Oi , Yang Mei! Are you really my friend? How about you trust me more?"
Wang Reiji was busy prepping herself in front of a life size mirror inside her walk-in closet while her best friend was sitting on her bed, impatiently waiting for her.
"You just have to wait and see! Even Detective Di Renjie won't even see through my disguise!" Wang Reiji giggled as she donned a pair of oversize white cat ears eyeglasses to finish her get up.
Her smile broadened as she scanned herself from head to foot and felt overly satisfied with her look.
She wore a gray off-shoulder V-neck cross sweater paired with a black high waist pencil skirt.
Her hair which she usually let loose, was tightly pulled into a bun.
She also wore make up and tinted her lips with a bright red lipstick in contrast to her usual bare face.
"Huh! Even my ancestors won't recognize me!" Wang Reijie said proudly.
She then marched out of her closet, eager to see the surprise look on her best friend's face.
As soon as she was in the closet door, she paused, stood up straight, shoulders back, core in, and chest out.
She then asked, "How do I look?"
It took a second or two for Yang Mei's brain to process the scene before her eyes.
Even she knew that the person in front of her was her best friend, she can't help but stare at her in awe, wondering if she was admiring Xing Yin's beauty or she wanted to look like her.
Unfortunately, she was originally born a male, thus she didn't possess the natural charm of a female species.
"Hey, Yang Mei-Kao! Don't tell me you are starting to get attracted to me? Too late my dear! You already have your mighty sword cut!" Wang Reiji grinned at Yang Mei, teasing her a bit.
"Ewww! I was just admiring your beauty, stop putting malice to it!" Yang Mei grimaced at the grinning woman in front of her.
If she wasn't friends with her for a very long time she would love to strangle this vulgar female species and imprint some decency in her.
"Hahaha! What a hot headed chick! You're not being cute at all, Mei-Mei!" Wang Reiji ignored her friend's words and wore her newly bought black suede ankle boots.
"Maybe we should not push through with this, let us find another way." Yang Mei spoke, anxiety was evident on her face.
"Whaaaaatttttt?! After all the preparations we went through? You want us to back down now?"Wang Reiji crowed as she stared into Yang Mei's eyes, appalled.
"Okay, let's try to be logical here! I'll admit, you definitely nailed the look. BUT! How about the attitude? Can you really pull such feat?" Yang Mei huffed as she placed her arms across her chest.
"Of course I can! I am proud of my acting skills!" Wang Reiji replied quickly.
"See! That's exactly I am talking about! Your haughty pride is all over the place. You can't just go there, display yourself, and expect the problem to be solved and not care about the possible repercussions." Yang Mei's tone and expression suddenly became serious.
Sensing her friend was not in her usual playful mood, Wang Reiji slowly walked toward her bed, sat down and gently rested her head on Yang Mei's shoulder.
"I want you to be happy. I know how badly you want to become a lawyer. I will support that dream of yours.
Besides, what's to be afraid of when I already incurred the wrath of your entire clan when I paid for your operation anyway?"
Yang Mei abruptly raised her shoulders, tossing Wang Reiji's face away from her.
"You! Don't tell me you are just helping to become a lawyer so that I can repay you when I become successful?!"
"Wow! You are really smart, Atty. Yang Mei!" Wang Reiji chuckled as Yang Mei hit her with a pillow.
"Thank you, Yin. I thought you only have big boobs and ass. You also have a big heart too." Yang Mei smiled warmly as she tightly embraced her friend.
"How can you sound sweet and disgusting at the same time?"Wang Reiji asked as she hugged her friend back.
"Of course, my mentor is an expert."
As soon as the best friends' drama was over, they hurriedly drove toward Yang Mei's university.
Their plan was to make Yang Mei pass the final stage of the student exchange program which required an interview with any member of the applicant's family.
However, since the Yang clan had already turned their back at her, this final stage became a major obstacle.
And the only solution they have in mind was to find a person who will post as a member of Yang Mei's family.
Initially, they opted to hire a con artist, but dismissed the idea later on due to safety reasons.
"You ready, sister?" Yang Mei halted her steps, her voice almost tremble from too much nervousness.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? Geez, Mei-Mei! Act natural!" Wang Reiji discreetly reminded her friend.
The two of them began walking toward the waiting area again.
As soon as they reached their destination, they sat on one of the couches.
It didn't take long for a university staff to approach them.
"Excuse me, are you here for the interview?" A woman in her mid 30s politely asked.
"Yes. My cousin Yang Mei's interview is today." Wang Reiji swiftly replied.
The face of the staff suddenly paled, seemingly hesitant to tell them the bad news.
"I regret to inform you but the last slot for the student exchange program was already reserved for General Prosecutor Zhang's son."
"WHAT?!" The two yelled in unison.

"Damn it! Using his father's influence to secure the spot?! I am gonna whip that cheater's ass!"
Wang Reiji mumbled to herself while her eyes were tightly shut, still unaware that she was not on her bed but inside Qin Sho's car.
When her hands wandered around to blindly search for her daughter's warmth she realized that her soft fluffy body wasn'f there, so she suddenly jolted and woke up from her sleep.
The moment she opened her eyes, she felt a stinging pain on the sides of her head.
The pain made her want to roll over her bed to find comfort in her soft cotton bed sheet.
The moment her palms came in contact with the car's leather seat cover, realization hit her hard like a speeding bus.
She was not on her bed but inside a car she was not familiar with.
She didn't feel any hostility towards the people in the car though.
'Where am I?' Wang Reiji silently asked herself, still clueless that her head was resting on a man's lap.
She was about to rise up when she heard Bai Wufei spoke.
"Apologies, CEO Qin. I failed to protect you and CEO Wang from ill mannered people."
"It's not your fault, besides you are a secretary not a bodyguard. Also, there are a lot of people inside that bar. You can't possibly take down all those recording the scene. Anyway, make sure to remove all the circulating video for this night's fiasco."
Wang Reiji almost fell from the car seat when she got hold of the situation. Despite her aching head, things seemed clearer now.
She was able to recall the incident inside the bar and she also remembered how Qin Sho carried her in his arms as they escaped the crowded the bar.
And to make things more embarrassing ,she was using his lap as her pillow!
Wang Reiji's face promptly burned red in shame.
She should have called her brother to come over the bar to accompany her.
But because of her carelessness and being unmindful of the possible repercussions of her actions, she was now facing a dilemma.
Should she wake up or pretend that she was still in a deep slumber?
Wang Reiji then carefully thought it over. After a silent argument with herself, she decided to fake her sleep.

Wang Yuvin's footsteps sounded the hallway as enmity welled up inside him.
His aura exuded a suffocating animosity ready to burn down the person who deserved it.
As he reached the main entrance of the mansion, he saw a guard rushing toward his direction with worry plastered all over his face.
He glanced at the gasping guy as his heart beat a little faster both from irritation and anger.
"Mr. Wang, the guy claiming to be Prosecutor Zhang Chenric just left."
Seemingly exhausted from sprinting, the guard still managed to deliver the information.
Hearing that the target of his rage had already left, Wang Yuvin stood frozen, the animosity surrounding him faded to a chilling atmosphere.
The guard who had just caught his breath suddenly felt his heart froze just by looking at his boss.
"We tried to tell him to wait a little bit more but he said he had other things to do. But before he left, he gave us CEO Wang's mobile phone."
The guard added, trying his best to keep his hands from trembling as he handed over the object to Wang Yuvin.
"Are you sure the guy really left the vicinity?" Wang Yuvin's intuition was telling him otherwise.
"Yes, sir. The guards posted in gate A had confirmed the car's departure."
"I see. By the way, the next time that guy pays a visit, I want you to deny him access, never let him in no matter what."
Wang Yuvin paused momentarily before he continued, "You may now go back to your post."
He said as he turned his back from the guard.
When he was about to take a step away from the entrance, the two way radio inside the guard's pocket produced sound.
"Alpha elite, this is Bravo1. Another car wants to get in, plate number is F-9Q765. There are four people inside. The man sitting at the backseat claimed he is the CEO of Dragon Claw Enterprise, CEO Qin Sho. He also said that CEO Wang is the woman sleeping inside the car. Help us verify their identities and let us know if we must deny them access or not, over."
Before the guard can open his mouth to answer his colleague, Wang Yuvin who was now looking at his direction spoke.
"Let them in. No need to verify." Wang Yuvin ordered the guard.
The guard slight nodded his head before he spoke on the radio, "Bravo1, identity confirmed. Let them pass. Over and out."
As soon as the person from the other line had replied, Wang Yuvin decided to stay in the entrance and wait for his sister, unknowing that this simple act will become his greatest regret in the days to come.
