Ellie's P.O.V
Did you ever experience walking alone in the dark creepy street with two grocery bags in hand?
Well, I'm currently in that situation and guess what?
It freaking sucks.
*2 Hours earlier*
"Ellie! Wake up. It's 5:30 pm Mrs. Gonzales will be expecting you to arrive at 6 pm to do the chores." Mom shouted.
I groaned and force my body to move on a sitting position. After our talk earlier I decided to take a nap before I go to Mrs. Gonzales and do my chores.
Mrs. Gonzales is a 63 yrs. old lady who is our neighbor (not exactly) since I was a baby. She was the one who would baby sit me when Mom had some errands to do.
Suddenly Mom came through my bedroom door like a wrecking ball.
"I said wak-Oh look your awake." She pause,"No need for this then." She continued while waving her camera.
"Get out mom." I said giving her a pointed look.
"Relax dear. I was just trying to add a few pictures of you on my camera." She said before shutting the door leaving me alone with my thoughts.
My Mom likes to take alot of selfies of me asleep. I don't know why but she says I look like an angel or something.
I stood up from my bed and headed straight to the bathroom to wash my face.
I changed into a tank top that says 'I like cucumbers' and a blue jeans shorts with my flip flops; leaving my hair into its own style and headed downstairs.
"Mom, I'm gonna go now. I'll be back around 8. Love ya!"I said before closing the door shut.
Mrs. Gonzales house is only 2 houses down. She lives alone now since her husband had died 12 years ago in a car accident.
My thoughts drifted off to the events earlier. I still can't believe that The bad boys talked to me. I literally thought they would kill me or beat me to pulp because of the stunt I did.
I came to an halt when I noticed I was at the front door of Mrs. Gonzales; I pressed her door bell three times to let her know It's me.
A few moments later her front door opened and I was greeted by her still flawless face.
"Hi Mrs. Gonzales I'm here to do the chores as usual." I said before giving her a full hug.
She hugged me back before pulling away,"Thank you so much Ellise. I could never thank you enough." She said giving me a smile.
"It's nothing Mrs. Gonzales, It's atleast I could do after all those baby sits you did for me." I said while she opened the door for me to enter her house.
"Aw. Ellise How many times do I have to remind you? Call me Ma Charlotte." She said.
Ellise is the nickname she gave me when I was younger. I don't know why but she tends on calling me that.
I laugh," Oops. I'm sorry Ma charlotte I totally forgot." Again.
"No need to say sorry Ellise." She paused before snapping her fingers like she remember something,"Do you want some muffins? I have some in the kitchen." She said.
"You are really the best Ma Charlotte." I said before dashing to the kitchen.
"Be careful dear they are a bit hot." She said as I took my bite from the heavenly sweet.
After I was done eating I started my chores. I only have 2 chores to do and that is:
Sweep the living room
and
Mop the kitchen
But Ma Charlotte said I also need to do the groceries today since her rheumatism is been getting alot worser.
It took me exactly 1 hour to finish my two chores before I slumped down on the old yet comfy couch exhausted and sweaty.
Ma Charlotte emerged from the kitchen with a clockwise paper on her hand.
"This is the List of the Groceries Elise and here is the money." She said before handing the money to me.
I stood up and brush my shorts,"Well, I better be going now Ma Charlotte." I said before taking the money and the list.
"Okay Ellise. Be careful." She said
"I will Ma. Charlotte." I said before closing the door behind me.
20 minutes later. I finally arrived at walmart and let me tell you That was the most boring walk I had.
I opened the list and my eyes went wide at what I saw.
25 Pickles
3 boxes of Condoms
5 Skittles
6 Root beer
What the fuck? Why the hell does she need condoms? and I mentally shudered at some pervert thought that creep into my mind.
I sighed.
This is going to be one of those awkward moments. Fun-fucking-tastic.
*End of flashbacks*
I feel like I'm in one of those movies where a girl happens to walk by a dark scary alley and she gets rape at the end.
My wrist are starting to get sore from the pressure of Grocery bags.
Screw you pickles for being heavy.
A cold breeze of air whips at me violently making me shudder as fear started to ran through me.
The exact moment where I turned in a dark alley and I mentally gasp as I was greeted by an unexpected sight.
This gonna be an interesting walk back to Ma. Charlotte's house.
