Ellie's P.O.V

Scared.

That was the feeling I was currently enduring since yesterday. After I found the letter I completely freaked out and rushed to my room.

I remember having a panic attack and me passing out. I woke up with my mom shaking me. She was quite worried and asked me what happen and if I was alright since she found me laying on the floor unconscious.

I told her I was fine and was just feeling tired and so she didn't question me anymore and left me alone but not before asking if I wanted to eat dinner which I declined.

I didn't get a sleep last night because I was scared that whoever wrote that letter might kidnap me in my sleep or worse. So, I just layed in my bed waiting for the sunrise to arrived.

Todd's voice made me snap out of my thoughts.

"You're doing it again." Todd pointed out as we both sat at our history class.

"Doing what?" I answered blankly.

"Spacing out. Are you okay? If this is about me ditching you then I'm really sorry." Todd said worriedly.

I gave him a small smile," No. It's okay. I completely understand. I just have a lot in mind." I answered truthfully.

"Like what?" He asked.

"If I'm gonna buy the puppy that I saw yesterday." I lied before turning my attention to the board.

I feel horrible already for lying but I can't just get myself to tell him about the letter. I keep convincing myself that probably it was just a prank made by some kids but what if it isn't?

"Oh. Well, You should because dogs are great companions." Todd answered.

I gave him a small smile which he frowned.

"You look tired Ellie. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked with knitted brows.

"Yes." I said forcing out a smile.

"Your eyebags are telling me the complete opposite." He stated before giving me a pointed look.

"I'm fine." I assured. I wasn't even sure who I was convincing. Todd or myself.

The rest of the class passed by Todd and me making small talks. When the bell rang I immediately stood up and took off not waiting for Todd.

I don't want to meet paths with one of the badboys. I've been avoiding all of them since earlier and I'm doing a pretty good job.
I made my way to the library and hid in my special place.

It was at the last row of book shelves and was kinda deserted since it was consist of books that aren't important much. There was a small bean bag and a small table that I put there.

I was a volunteer last year here at the library. The librarian whose name is Vivian is close friend of mine told me that It was okay if I put some table and chairs in there since no one really enters that row of selection.

I let out a sigh of relief before opening my bag and taking out my lunch which is a turkey sandwhich and some orange juice. I ate silently while cautiously looking at my surroundings.

My phone suddenly rang making me jump in surprise and choke on my food. I let out a small gasp of breath once I manage to get rid of my choking.

Looking at the caller, I saw it was Todd and ignored it after a few rings it stopped. My phone beeped indicating it was a text message.

It was from an unknown number. My brows knitted in confusion.

I have eyes everywhere.
