"Let me go" I mumble to Elijah who was holding hostage in his sleep "Elijah"
"Shush" Delilah whispers rubbing his face watching him sleep
"Little girl" I flick her nose
"Dada sleep" she sighs dramatically
"I know" I nod making my eyes big causing her to giggle
I know Elijah can hear our conversation, the second Delilah and I moved he was conscious. Fucking light sleeper!
"I know your up" I sigh pushing his hair out of his face "I need to leave now if I want to make it to the airport on time"
A knock on the door catches my attention, Mary wakes in with her head down calling for Delilah.
"Breakfast is ready" she says holding her hand out for Delilah
"Yay!" Delilah squeals in response sliding off the bed then running to Mary
I wanna eat too
As if hearing my thoughts Elijah let's me go opening his eyes, I barely made it out of the bed before he pulls me back and hovering over me.
Tiny footsteps approached the door, Delilah peeks in making kissing noises.
"Mama kissy!" She whispers loudly, laughing at her I shook my head
"Go eat!" I chuckle, and just like that her footsteps get fainter
Elijah lays himself on my body closing his eyes, he takes in a deep breath before pulling the covers over us.
"What are you doing?"
"Going back to sleep" he mumbles
"I have to leave now or I'll miss my flight" running my hand through his hair he shrugs dismissing my concerns
"Take one of my personal plans"

"I already paid for the plane ticket, that would be wasting my money"
"I send money into your account every week, I'm sure you won't miss it"
I stared at him shocked, he noticed and sighs loudly looking up at me.
"Your going to yell at me aren't you?"
I shook my head no and I continued to stare at him.
"Why would you do that?" I ask barely over a whisper
"I seen your bills on the coffee table the last time I was at your apartment, I wanted to help"

"Thank you" I hug him
"I also paid the rest of your college t-" he stops talking as the door moves slightly
"What did I miss? Did they kiss yet?" We heard Alex loud mouth ask
"No" Delilah whispers back
Oh my gosh
"Princess?" Elijah sighs
"Yes Dada?" She comes in as if she wasn't watching us the whole time
"Did you eat or did you watch us instead?" he rises a eyebrow at her
"Both" Alex whispers pushing a plate into the room, it only had three pieces of bacon and a biscuit.
"Eat eat" Delilah giggles picking up the plate coming over to my side. I took it and placed it on the bed along with her. She sat quietly watching us as she stuffed her face with the bacon
She's been around Alex for too long
"Alessandro has corrupted our kid" Elijah mumbles shaking his head, rubbing my breast discreetly
"I have not" Alex walks in frowning "I'm just teaching her life skills she can use when you guys are too stubborn to talk things out or are just being stupid"
"Yeah" Delilah nods
"You should be teaching her the alphabets, numbers, colors. Not how to intervene in grown folks business" Elijah kicks Alex as he sits on the edge of the bed on his side
"I did, I'm not completely irresponsible. Lila count to ten"
Delilah starts counting in Italian, Elijah smiles giving her a high five.
"Wow" was all I could say, and they all looked at me
"What's wrong?" Alex ask
"Nothing, I just never thought my baby would be learning Italian so soon"
"The sooner the better" Elijah says slipping his hand into my bra
"Stop it" I swat his hand away
"Kissy!" Delilah points sternly "now!"
"Stay in a child's place-" I was cut off by Elijah kissing me roughly
Alex and Delilah explodes with happiness as they clapped loudly smiling.
"Humans" I laugh
"Our job is done, come along little one" Alex takes Delilah in his arms and picks up her plate then leaves the room closing the door
Elijah flips us over and claims my lips as his again, more gentle this time and passionate.
I could feel him growing underneath me, straddling him I sat up.
"Why do I have to wait until I'm twenty?" I ask rubbing his chest as he folds his hands behind his head
"Alex and his big mouth" he mumbles before answering "Bakari told me if I was serious about you and our relationship I would wait until your twenty and if I wasn't to leave you alone before anything could progress between us. I'm just respecting his wishes"
"When did you have this conversation with him?" I ask confused, they were never together without me
"The night at the hospital when the nurses took you to runs tests. He told me that along with other things but I couldn't understand because he wasn't speaking English"
"I feel so dumb"
"Why?"
"I thought you were sleeping with someone else-" I was cut off by Monty running into the room with Geovani
"I apologize for interrupting but Sir there has been a wildfire in the area where Lauren lives and her apartment building has caught on fire"
Tears started rolling down my face rapidly as I tried to getting out my words. Elijah sits up hugging me confused.
"If your crying about your clothes and other things in your home I'll replace everything" he says wiping my face but it was no point because the tears kept coming
"Tatum" I managed to get out
"He's on his way here, Remo went to get him when the fire started" Geovani says then leaves the room with Monty
I nod as I looked up to Elijah.
"Looks like it's time to go house hunting again" he kisses my head
I nod in response getting out of bed.
"All my weapons were in my apartment and my suitcase. I can't leave and do my mission" I sigh

"I have a weapons room on the second floor, you can take some"
"Is it by the room you keep your Katy Perry posters and Lady Gaga bobble heads?" I ask chuckling at the expression on his face
"Alessandro!" He yells running out the room
