Katsuki's going to scold Izuku for not listening to him.
But Izuku couldn't shake off the feeling that something terrible is going to happen and so, he left the house. He planned to chase after Katsuki but when his nose caught the smell of a human and a vampire together, he knew that he need to change his direction and go save that person from becoming a victim.
When Izuku saw the black haired vampire is going to stab the hunter, Izuku immediately jump in between them and caught the knife with his bare hand. It hurts but still somewhat bearable. Izuku can tell at first glance that this vampire is way stronger than him but he's not going to regret coming here. After all, Izuku manage to stop someone from dying by the hands of this vampire.
The vampire... Yamato was it? Izuku believe that he heard the blond haired hunter calling him by that name. The smell of blood on Yamato was really strong and Izuku wanted to cover his nose to block out the smell.
Just how many people has he killed? Does all pure blooded vampires smell like this?
Yamato was shocked to see Izuku at first but he narrowed his eyes and smiled. "You... are a vampire right? Not to mention that you smell like 'him'."
"'Him'?" Izuku thought as he keep his eyes locked on the vampire ahead of him.
What does he meant by that? Could it be that this vampire... know who his sire is? They know each other? If so then this could be really bad. When he was attacked, he was merely a 'meal' that was left to die from blood loss. His sire probably never thought that Izuku'd survive and become a vampire.
Will Yamato go back and tell his sire that he's alive? Will his sire come and finish him off for good this time? Izuku can feel the fear gripping onto his heart and a bead of sweat ran down the side of his face. This is bad... this is really bad!
"Hey, you're a fledgling who hasn't tasted blood right? You're kind of cute so I won't mind sharing my meal with you." Yamato continued. Without warning, he pull the knife out from Izuku's grip, causing him to wince from the pain.
Izuku growled and took a fighting stance, blocking the hunter behind him from the pure blooded vampire's view. With his uninjured hand, he did a hand signal to tell the hunter to run away. Izuku might not be able to defeat this vampire and he doesn't know how long he can hold on but at the very least, he can buy time for the hunter to escape.
It seems like the hunter didn't understand his hand signal because Izuku can tell that he's still there, probably frozen in shock.
"Hurry up and run!" Izuku shouted with a hint of desperate in his voice. And that works, the sound of the shuffling feet reaches Izuku's ear and the hunter is running away. That good, it wouldn't be easy if he has to fight and protect someone at the same time. On top of that, Izuku doesn't have any fighting experience so he don't know how well he can fight.
"Oh, I get it. You're still clinging onto your humanity. Not a very uncommon behavior to be found in the fledglings." Yamato said.
In a blink of an eye, Izuku found himself slammed to the wall beside him while Yamato is grinning at him with a crazy look in his eyes.
"He's fast!" Izuku thought. His back hurts and he couldn't even react to the attack even when he saw it coming. Izuku's aware that he wasn't strong enough to defeat this vampire but to think that the difference between their strength would be this big. He widen his eyes when Yamato lean in forward until their face is just an inch away from each other.
"But it's the best that you listen to your instincts. Once you tasted blood for the first time, you'll immediately understand how delicious it is. You'll be able to become stronger too."
Now that they are this close to each other, the smell of blood on Yamato is stronger and anger begin to build up inside Izuku for the first time in his life. How many people has lost their friends, family and beloved ones to this vampire?
From the look of it, Yamato doesn't seem to be feeling bad for all the people he has killed. No sense of guilt to be found in the eyes of this monster. Izuku may not be a human anymore but he refuse to let himself sink to the level of these cruel beings.
"Never..." Izuku growled.
Yamato quickly back away in time as sharp claws slash across the air in front of him. One second late and he might have gotten himself a few deep slashes on his face, although such wounds will heal and close up in no time.
"I'll never drink blood and I'll never attack people!" Izuku snapped.
Yamato's grin turn into a sadistic smile as he watches how the fledgling's green eyes changes to blood red. When a vampire's eyes changes to blood red, it usually happen when they are hungry, drinking blood, ready to fight or is using their power. Based on this situation, it seems like this fledgling is angry and he wanted to fight.
Although this vampire is still a fledgling who is clinging onto his remaining humanity, he has shown aggression and tried to attack him with the intent cause blood spill, which is something that almost all vampires does when they got angry or feel threaten.
"You're cute even when you're angry." Yamato said as he licks the blood off his knife. "Guess I'll play with you for a while."

Kaminari knows that it's not cool to flee from a battle.
However, Aizawa has told them many times before that they should never fight against a pure blooded vampire alone. No matter what, their lives always come first. One of the older hunters Kaminari met before told him, 'There's no shame in running away. What's impotent is to treasure your own life. Challenging an opponent that you cannot win against is something only the foolish people does.'
Still, Kaminari's confused by what just happened. First, a fellow hunter turns out to be the pure blooded vampire they are looking for. Then, a different vampire show up to save him, which is something that has never happen before.
Kaminari has never witness two vampires fighting each other before but according to what the older hunters saw, they said that a battle between two vampires can be full of violent and well... a bloody mess. It's not a pleasant sight, that's for sure.
He heard Yamato addressing the other as a 'fledgling', which means that the hooded vampire is a newly turned vampire. The chance of a fledgling vampire winning against Yamato is really slim. There's a huge different between their strength and ability.
Kaminari knew that he shouldn't be having thoughts like this but he really hope that the hooded vampire that saved him can remain that way, protecting other people instead of hurting them. But he knew that it was impossible. Once a vampire become hungry, they are no different from a beast.
Once Kaminari was sure that he's far away from the two vampires, he stops in his track and pull out his phone. He was about to call Kirishima to inform him about the current situation when he spotted a pair of feet in the alley in front of him. It's a bad idea to approach the alley carelessly but something tells Kaminari that there's something he need to see with his own eyes.
Reaching for his gun, Kaminari gulped and slowly make his way towards the person who is lying on the ground. When he saw the face of the victim, he can feel his blood run cold. The corpse is been completely drained of his blood but there's no mistake about it.
This is Yamato...
But this isn't making any sense. Kaminari just saw Yamato as a vampire a few minutes ago. Could it be that this is the real Yamato?
Does that pure blooded vampire has the ability to change his appearance into someone else? If that's the case then that vampire must be captured or defeated as quickly as possible. Because if the enemy can disguise themselves, there's going to be a huge problem. That vampire can sneak into the hunter's headquarter and steal information or kill someone behind their back.
Going to his contact list, Kaminari search for Kirishima's name and hit the call button.
"Hello, Kirishima? You got to listen to this!"

Izuku tried to dodge the knives that was aimed at him. But he wasn't fast enough to avoid all of them as one has graze his cheek while another one has graze his knee. At first, he was able to dodge all of the knives and claws without any problem. But as the fight drag on, the more speed Izuku lose and the more hungry he become.
The rest of the knifes that misses Izuku stab into the wall. Yamato did a pulling motion with his hand and the knives return back to his hand. He has attached strings into the knives so that he can pull it back whenever he wanted.
Now with his back against the wall, Izuku's trying to think and come up with the fast way to defeat this vampire. He need to hurry or else the chance of him losing to his hungry and bloodlust is going to-
Izuku blinked when he felt something trailing down from his mouth. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he widen his eyes when he saw the transparent liquid.
He's... drooling?
"Are you getting hungry?" Yamato asked in an amused voice. He didn't wait for Izuku to give him a reply and continue to explain what's happening to the clueless, confused and hungry fledgling. "For us to be able to use our full power and healing our wounds, we all need 'energy' and we can only get it from blood. And as we're using those energy to fight, we'll start to become hungry."
Glaring at the vampire, Izuku knew that he need to put an end to this battle as fast as possible. The cuts he got from before is starting to heal but the urge to bite into a warm body that's full of blood is starting to become difficult to ignore-
Wait...
How could he forgot about it?
"That's right... why am I hesitating for? What am I afraid of? No matter how badly injured I got, I won't die. Also, this guy isn't taking me seriously at all. Which means that I've a chance to catch him off guard." Izuku thought as he narrowed his gaze on Yamato, who is still grinning at him while waiting for his next move.
Without warning, Izuku charge at Yamato with the fastest speed he has, causing hood fall off his head and revealing his full face to the enemy
As expected, Yamato wasn't expecting Izuku to choose to close the distance between them out of the sudden. Yamato immediately react by throwing his knives at Izuku, who shows no intent of avoiding the knives at all.
"He didn't try to dodge it this time?" Yamato thought. The fledgling who has been dodging until now is actually charging straight at him?
Despite the blades embedded itself deep into his body, Izuku didn't stop even though it hurts. Once he's right in front of Yamato, he lift his leg up and did a roundhouse kick. At the same timing, Yamato move his arm up to block the attack since Izuku's too close to him and he won't be able to move away in time.
"Since my strength is starting to drop, I won't be able to deal much damage with punches. I read that kicks are more powerful than punches so this is the best move for me to use." Izuku thought. Pushing more strength into his kick, Izuku let out a battle cry as he send Yamato flying across the empty street.
When Izuku landed the hit, he heard a sickening crack and he can tell that he must have broken the bones in Yamato's forearm. He doesn't know how fast a vampire can heal broken bones but if he keep this up, he might have a chance too-
Izuku gasped when Yamato stood up. The arm that should have been broken is perfectly fine. This couldn't be happening right?
"To think that his bones has already heal in such a short amount of time when it took me a few minutes to heal a few simple cuts. So this is how strong a pure blooded vampire is huh. Without the weapons that the vampire hunters used, it's impossible for me to defeat him."
Yamato begin to laugh out loudly and his eyes turns blood red. Izuku has a very bad feeling about it and he can tell that Yamato is now serious.
Izuku wanted to run for the time being as he think a plan to get out of this situation. If he can find some really experience hunters and lead Yamato to them, they will be able to take him down-
"What could you be thinking about?"
Izuku gritted his teeth to stop himself form making a pained noise when the knives that are embedded in his body was pull out forcefully. He widen his eyes in shock when Yamato appear right in front of him, the first thing that came to Izuku's mind is to use his claws and tear the skin and flesh off this pure blooded vampire. Izuku'd be horrified at himself for having such thoughts if Yamato didn't stab both of his hands and pin him down to the ground while straddling him.
Unknowingly, Izuku glare at Yamato and bares his fangs in a threatening manner.
"For a fledgling, you sure are strong! I like you even more now! I bet you'll look even more wonderful if I were to cut you up a little." Yamato said. Before he can proceed to stab the fledgling, the smell of a human reaches his nose.
BANG!
The sound of the gunshot was loud to the ears of both vampires. Izuku was stunned when Yamato drop his knife and his hand starts to bleed. Shifting his gaze to the side, Izuku couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Katsuki standing there, with his gun pointed at vampire on top of him.
"Get the fuck off him, you bastard!"
