It's been since months I was not very active. In fact, I was active but mostly as a reader since I was focusing on studies so I couldn't write a lot of things.
There might be errors but I will check it later after I will get some sleep first because it's 04:00 am although I wanted to watch Hana Macchia's Pokemon live stream since she's actually doing it but prioritize to rest first.

- In your house -
- 3rd POV -
You're looking to the outside of the world. You can see a land full of grass and flowers and a tree with a swing. You moved out from the Kagutsuchi for various reasons but the most important is :
"You were here ?" A calm voice appeared and various gentle steps can be heard.
You turned back to see a girl with her long and elegant blond braid hair along with her ahoge, her pretty blue sky eyes and a little smile. She's Es Mitsurugi and she's your wife.
You looked back to the landscape. When you were born, an unfortunate fate took away your voice so you couldn't talk at all. People mistook you by mixing deaf and mute so they usually do their language signs or write something to "communicate" with you even though you can hear them.
Back when you were at the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi, a big city among the others Hierarchical City, you were a young writer. You write mostly books and fairy tales for children which is linked to disabled people. You want the next generations to care about the disabled people without looking down to them. After all, you were one of those disabled people in this world.
"I made the breakfast, you can come if you want." Es said before she left to the kitchen.
After a while of looking outside, you decided to join her and eat with her. When you got there, you can see some breads with your (F/F) jam on and fruits. Es usually wakes you up and do the same routine with you and you usually wait her in the kitchen looking at her. That's why she was looking for you when you weren't there because you were reminiscing some memories.
- Flashback -
You were walking in the market outside to buy foods. You always greet people with a bow and a smile and they greet back either with their hands and their expressions or by their voice only for some people who already knows about your mute voice.
During the walk, you bought some puddings for dessert but you bumped into someone and you fell down. Unfortunately for you, it was a local thug which people were afraid of but lesser than the famous Bloodedge.
"Watch where you're going !" He yelled at you and you couldn't help but looking away because of how intimidating he was.
It doesn't happen often to meet someone dangerous on this street.
"What !? Did you suddenly lose your voice ?" He said before he grabbed your chocker.
You knew he's waiting for your begging. You looked around and nobody dared to save you and people said how unfortunate you got there. It was quite sad especially when the victim has to be a mute person.
"Let him go." You heard someone interfering the moment.
When you looked to the person who talked, you felt for the first time your heart racing faster. A cute yet emotionless girl came to save you. Men usually felt bad when girls save them but you were already used especially since school.
"Or else what ? You will hit me with your little hand ?" The thug said before he released you and went to the girl.
You felt scared for implying the girl in your situation. You don't want to see her getting hurt because of you. You mustered your courage on and you ran to the thug but you stopped when you saw her making appear a sword in her hand and sliced the guy in an elegant way. You checked him and you noticed the cut wasn't very deep but enough to hurt him well.
"If you dare to hurt anyone else, I will make sure to eliminate you." She said with the same calm tone and she walked to you.
"Are you alright ?" She asked you and you answered her with a nod.
You nearly forgot about the puddings so you looked where you fell down and unfortunately, some of them were fallen apart while the others are intacts.
You looked back and you got surprised by the girl who's looking at you like a puppy who wants to eat. You looked back to the puddings once again before checking her and you're sure she wants them. You know you have to thank her somehow so you made sign to her to come with you to a place where she can eat.
You and the girl went to a close plaza with benches under a large tree. After you sat down, you gave her a pudding and a spoon and she's letting a little cute blushing before eating the pudding. It made you happy to know she's not completely emotionless at all.
"I love puddings." She suddenly spoke. You didn't expect her to start a conversation.
"What about you ?" She asked you.
You really wanted to talk to her but unfortunately, you couldn't. The worse is she was staring at you with the same emotionless face for a while waiting for your answer.
"...Are you mute ?" You got surprised by her sudden understanding.
"I take your expression as a yes." She said and you rubbed your back neck nervously.
"Don't worry, I will do my best to understand you and besides..." She took a pause to eat her pudding.
"I saved you because the Azure asked me to search my way of life." She said and you got confused.
"I might have a clue for now and when I saw you, I noticed something awakening within me so I want to be friend with you to know more about those...feelings." You can see a slight blush on her face which make her so cute.
When she was looking at you, you answered her with a smile and a nod. She slightly smiled and she finished her pudding. You don't understand why she really wants to learn them even though she can already express them so casually. Maybe she doesn't notice it yet.
"Give me an another one." She said and you couldn't help but letting out a happy smile and giggling silently while giving her an another one.
- Present -
While you're eating, you're reading the newspapers to know about news. You learnt there are new associations to aid disabled people and they thanked you who gave them the inspirations to do it.
"Judging from your smile, something good happened." You heard Es talking. You looked at her and you two smiled each other.
"You may already know but I'm glad the Azure let me to be with you." She said and you nodded.
She already told you about the Azure, a sort of power who can literally change the world itself. You remembered that Es told you it's the Grim Reaper who has it. You're quite scared but if he can listen to one of your request, it would be to let Es with you forever.
"You know...I kinda want to go on a date with you." She asked you and you smiled at her.
She understood your expression and she smiled.
"Well, what about right now ? It's actually pretty outside and there won't be a lot of people there." She said and you nodded in agreement.
After eating the breakfast, you and Es went to put your outfit for the date. For this day, you're quite nostalgic so you decided to put the outfits you had when you and Es met for the first time. When you checked on your wife, she's also wearing the clothes she had on your first meeting.
"I knew you will wear this one." She said and she smiled sweetly.
When you're done changing, you and Es left your house and you decided to go back to the city where you spent most of your life with the train station.
After being in the city, you and Es went to check on different spots. The first place is a clothes shop.
You wanted Es to have more clothes since she has not a lot of clothes. So you decided to take her there.
"Oh, there's a lot of clothes." She said while she's looking to them interested and curiously.
While your wife is looking for clothes, a vendor walked to you.
"Hello sir, may I help you ?" She asked you and you shook your head and waving your hands.
"Why not ? I'm sure you will be pretty in...these !" She finished after she got an outfit in your liking.
Because of the effort she made, you're kinda hesitating. The vendor got confused because of the silent and you're getting embarrassed.
"(Y/N), can I have your opinion ?" You heard your wife calling you over the dressing cabinet.
You approached her and when she opened the curtain, your heart went crazy for a while.
"H-How is it ? I-I'm not used to wear a corset and this kind of clothes..." She said shyly with a blush and you thumbed to her and she smiled.
"T-Thank you." She said and she closed the curtain to put her clothes.
After buying the deep blue dress, you went to the parc where you and Es spent a lot of time in the past.
You sat under the same tree and Es leant her head on your shoulder.
"I remembered our first meeting." She started to talk.
"At first, the Azure ordered me to search an objective in my life and be more expressive and during my research, I was attracted by the puddings you got." She continued to talk and you heard the kids having fun on the streets.
"I always asked you the pudding you bought but the longer I spent with you, the more I forgot about it and the more I found my objective and...that is to stay with you." She said and she smiled while closing her eyes.
You grabbed her shoulder to keep her from falling and you closed your eyes as you're remembering every moments.
- Flashback -
After your first encounter with Es, you were looking forward your next meeting with her. You found out it usually happened when you got your puddings during the weekend. She usually waited you at the same park and she usually asked you to eat the puddings. Sometimes, when you forgot to buy or it ran out of stock, she pouted. It's like she's a pet, a cute yet emotionless one. Maybe it's more appropriate to call her a doll.
In any case, you saw her as a person even though she told you she's under the order of the Azure as a doll or weapon. But recently, you noticed she's getting more and more expressive and she smiled very often when you showed her your works and she asked you less and less of your puddings, like she's happy only by being with you.
One day, it was raining and you were running toward the same tree. When you saw the tree, you didn't expect to see Es under the tree. You were confused since you didn't buy a single pudding and it's not the weekend.
When she noticed you, she smiled and you went under the tree with her.
"You're here (Y/N) like the Azure told me." She said while you're panting.
"You're wet. Do you want me to bring you back to your home ?" She asked you and you shook your head.
"...Sorry but I have to bring you there. You will catch a cold." She said before she picked you up and she quickly leapt on a rooftop of a random house nearby and she continued to leap until she reached your house.
When you looked at her, she looked determined and worried at the same time. It's the first time you saw those expressions.
After some leaping, you finally reached your house and Es got your keys out before she unlocked the door and went inside while still carrying you.
"We're at your home." She said before she put you down.
"Now, let me aid you and get your clothes off." She said and you blushed a lot.
"I noticed your heartbeat went faster. Did I do something wrong ?" She asked you and you looked away embarrassed.
"...I see, I should let you undress by yourself first." She said and you nodded before you went to the bathroom.
While you're undressing, you heard Es coming.
"Excuse me but I wonder if you need my assistance to wash you." She said and you blushed once again before you shook your head and hid some parts of your body.
"I noticed some peaks of your heartbeat." She said while she's getting closer to you.
You slowly backed up until your back met the wall and you felt Es touching your neck.
"Don't worry, I'm checking the heart pulse." She said and you couldn't help but looking at her and smelling her.
Your heartbeat continue to go fast and for some reasons, you notice you're starting to love her. Is it because she really cares about you until now and she's the one who's always talking with you and enjoying being with you ?
You don't know if you can confess to her. She's still emotionless so it's hard to read if she has a feeling for you but you don't want to let it get you down so...
You gulped before you kissed her. Her expression turned into a surprised one and she hesitated before she gave in. Her lips are very soft and making you feel easy. You really want to continue but you had to get some oxygens so you separated and panted.
"(Y-Y/N)...." She called you with a blush.
"I-I don't know what to say..." She said and you stared into her eyes shyly and leant your lips toward hers.
She nodded shyly before she kissed you again. This time, the kiss became more sensual and full of love. After you separated, Es leant on you and grabbed your arms.
"(Y-Y/N), I-I think I found the objective of my life." She said and she looked at you.
"...I-I love you." She said before she kissed you again shyly and then cuddled to you for a while.
After then, you and Es started to go out together and she's getting used to live like a human being which made you happy. She's finally the one you need in your disabled life and you helped her to live among us.
- Back to present -
You opened your eyes and you noticed it's already the afternoon. You checked on your wife and she's opening her eyes too.
"It's already the afternoon ?" She said and you nodded.
"Maybe we should go eat." She said and so you and Es decided to go to a restaurant.
While you're walking, you could hear someone crying. You quickly joined the noise and you saw someone on the ground and a certain person you recognize.
"I'm back ! I will make you pay back for everything I went through !" This person was the thug who threatened you.
He turned back and he saw you. He clenched his fists while he's walking to you.
"I remember you. Today will be your end !" He said and he was about to hit you until Es came and blocked his fist with her sword.
"Don't hurt (Y/N)." She said before she pushed her back.
"Oh you—" The thug stopped to talk when he saw your wife leaping toward him with her weapon.
He expected her to slash so he tried to block with his arms but Es jumped on him and made him confused. He looked to the sky and Es slashed downward while falling making him knocked out.
"Stop threatening the villagers." She said before she drew her weapon and joined you.
"How is it (Y/N) ?" She asked you and you patted her head.
She started to blush and you heard people crying in joy and then people gathered around your wife and asked various things but all she can say was :
"Thank you but I did it for my husband. He's really important for me." She said before she clenched to your arm and everyone awed.
The guards came and arrested the thug and the villagers wanted to reward you but you didn't want and Es told them, by following your thought, that you just want to enjoy your date with your wife.
During your walk, you found a restaurant you used to eat when you got a lot of time. You looked to your wife and she looked at you while nodding in agreement. You remembered it's the first time you will bring her in a restaurant.
After getting your table and your orders, you're waiting the meal and you noticed Es is looking around curiously. You giggled when you thought she's very cute.
"The meal is ready." The waiter said and put your (F/F) and puddings on the table.
You looked at your wife and she blushed.
"I-It's because they put it on the menu." She said before she hid her reddened face with the same menu and you pat her head.
While you're eating, you noticed Es handed her spoon full of pudding in front of you. You immediately understood what she wanted so you took a bite of it and you smiled happily.
"C-Can I have a try of yours too ?" She asked you and you nodded before you did the same thing to her with your (F/F).
"I-It's delicious..." She said surprised while savoring the taste.
After the meal, you decided to take a walk together in the city. During the walk, you noticed some guards running after a certain white-haired man.
"Don't let Ragna the Bloodedge running away !" A recognizable voice can be heard.
"Sh•t—! Why they don't want to let me go !?" The man said before he passed you and your wife.
You let the guards running after him and a blond girl noticed your presence.
"Ah (Y/N)-kun ! It's been a while." The girl is none other than Noel Vermillion, a lieutenant of the NOL and one of your friend who knows you very well.
She also noticed your wife and she got confused.
"...Did we meet before ?" Noel asked Es and your wife shook her head.
"I don't think so Norl Vermillion." She said and Noel got more confused since she didn't meet your wife.
"I-I..." She tried to ask her about her doubt but a call interrupted her.
"This is Noel Vermillion of the NOL...Alright, I will try to stop him." She said in her radio phone before she hung out.
"That was fun to talk with you but I need to catch Ragna the Bloodedge so see you again (Y/N)-kun !" She said before she left.
You smiled while Es looked at you.
"To think you're friend with her." She said and you looked at her confused.
"Nothing, it's rather difficult to tell you right now." She said and you nodded before you two resumed your walking.
You finally reached the train station and you decided to end the date. Es was quite satisfied and happy and so you did too. You hope you can redo it again.
During the return to your home, Es leant her head on your shoulder and she closed her eyes like before.
"I feel comfortable when you're around." She said calmly.
"I hope you too think the same way." She continued and you brought her closer making her smile.
"I'm glad you think too." She said and you didn't say anything for a while only to listen the train moving.
"You know...I may said it a lot of times but I'm really grateful to be on your side. I would never imagine what would happen if I didn't meet you." She said and you patted her head.
"So...thank you (Y/N)." She said and you looked at her and found out she's sleeping again.
You giggled and you took off your vest before you put it over her and you're waiting the train to reach its destination and so you're walking during the sunset toward your home with your wife in a bridal carry.
