Day 22 - By Firehedgehog
While Cross was no longer crusading across the multiverse to recreate his AU, it never stopped hurting.
It ached, knowing that nothing could bring it back.
That his life, and so many others, were just a game, a toy, to a Gaster seeking perfection that didn't exist.
His only comfort, although also a painful reminder, was X.
The broken Chara who had lost even more then himself.
Both of them had lost their brothers.
Their old friends, too, were gone.
Dust in the wind.
He rubbed his face, wiping away magic tainted tears.
One day, he hoped it would hurt less.
He'd found some new friends... but they would never replace the ones he lost.
Slowly, he and X were finding their way into a new future, one day at a time.
The Dark Sans were not that bad, despite their reputation.
Maybe even... a new family.
