On Monday, much to Jared's confusion, Isaac acted like nothing had happened- like Jared hadn't just seen him so vulnerable in his own house. He smiled and played the yellow CD in the car, tapping on the steering wheel to the rhythm. Jared wanted to rip the CD out and demand Isaac tell him what was wrong, but whenever Jared even hinted at the subject Isaac tensed so horribly that he felt an utter dick and backed down immediately.
By Wednesday he'd given up. Isaac would tell him when he was ready, he told himself, and hoped it was true.
