Roman's POV
I'm glad Remus and Virgil agreed to try and be friends, I hope it goes well, since Virgil is now apart of my family to me, I also hope Dolion leaves Virgil alone, he's gone through enough
Virgil: "Remus is disturbing"
Me: "You'll get used to it"
Virgil: "Really?"
Me: "You'll learn to ignore it?"
He nodded and sat next to me and we watched Heathers. Virgil's head fell on my shoulder so I assumed he was asleep, I carried to his room and put him to bed, he needs some sleep I know that he doesn't get enough. I felt my phone go off
Remus: Dolion isn't going to leave Virge alone
Me: Why
Remus: Idk
I'm going to kill Dolion if he goes anywhere near Virgil, he did nothing to Dolion he literally didn't say anything and he gets beaten up, how is that fair
Patton: "You don't look to happy"
Me: "I'm not"
Logan: "How come?"
Me: "Dolion isn't going to leave Virgil alone and I don't know what to do"
Patton: "Try and speak to Dolion"
Me: "Like he'd listen, Remus already tried"
Logan: "Keep trying?"
Me: "You think he'd listen? He'd lie and then go punch Virgil"
I don't want Virgil to get hurt, if Dolion hurts Virgil I will kill him, I can't let anyone hurt Virgil, I love him
Virgil's POV
Me and Remus have been trying to get to know each other, he's actually alright, a bit demented but alright, he said he'll try and keep Dolion away but he's not sure if he can. I hope Dolion will just stop himself
Remus: "He might get bored since you're talking"
Me: "Or I might make it worse by talking, make him find other reasons to bully me"
Remus: "Maybe, maybe not"
Me: "I think he would, there are many reasons to hate me"
Remus: "There's actually not, I wish I realised that at the start"
Me: "I don't believe you"
As we were talking Roman came up to us
Roman: "How's it going guys"
Remus: "It's alright, Virgil's cool I should've been his friend ages ago"
Me: "I'm not cool, I'm the opposite isn't it obvious"
Roman: "Sorry what was that, apparently I can't hear lies"
Remus: "I got to go Dolion is asking where I am"
Remus left and me and Roman went back to our dorm, there was a notice, the head teacher puts them on everyone's doors to make announcements, like assemblies or trips
Roman: "Oh it's parents evening in a few days I can't wait"
Me: "Oh, um where do people like me go on that day"
Roman: "Umm, I think you can stay in the dorm"
Me: "Hopefully"
Obviously no one comes to parents evening for me, which is fine I'd prefer not sitting by someone in silence while they talk about my behaviour in school
Next day (Wednesday)
Mr Picani said he wanted to talk to me at lunch, I think about parents evening, I don't know why it's be about parents evening but it might be. I arrived at his office, I hesitated with knocking but I obviously knocked
Picani: "Good morning Virgil"
Me: "Good morning"
Picani: "So this is about parents evening, do you know if anyone is coming?"
Me: "As far as I know no"
Picani: "Okay, would you be able to guide parents to the hall to meet the teachers"
I mean I should be fine as long as I dint have to try and have a conversation with them
Me: "How much do I have to talk?"
Picani: "Not that much"
Me: "O-Okay, I can do that"
After Mr Picani gave me other details about the parents evening he let me go to my lessons, I'm scared since its been five minutes since lesson started, I'm glad that I have art first though.
At break
I ran from my lesson to my table, I haven't seen Roman yet since we had no lesson together this morning. I tripped over someone's foot just outside the cafeteria
Dolion: "Hey freak"
Me: "Go away"
Dolion: "Never, why can't I talk to you now that you speak"
Me: "Because you bully me, dickhead"
Dolion: "We can still speak"
Me: "Leave me alone"
I walked into the cafeteria and looked for Roman, once I found him I bolted over to the table
Logan: "Hello Virgil"
Patton: "Hi Virgy"
Me: "Hi guys"
Roman: "Are you okay"
Me: "Umm yeah, Dolion just tripped me over"
Roman: "Did he hurt you?"
Me: "No, no he didn't honestly, he just tripped me"
Remus started walking over, he walked straight pass Dolion and came to our table
Logan: "Salutations Remus"
Remus: "Hey whale penis"
Me: "How come you're here and not with snake face"
Remus: "Because I want to be your friend and he doesn't"
Patton: "Well welcome to the group Remus"
Roman: "Yes welcome"
Remus: "Oh parents evening is tomorrow I can't wait"
Logan: "Oh yes I forgot about that"
Patton: "Oh after parents evening we should all hang out in our dorm, even you Remus"
Remus: "Sure"
Me: "Yeah, I'm helping out at parents evening so I wouldn't mind have a chill session after"
Roman: "How come you're helping out?"
Me: "Because no ones coming for me so I'm just taking parents to the hall"
I caught Dolion looking at us, he looked angry yet sad, maybe he misses Remus?
In English
Dolion kept giving me dirty looks for most of this lesson. Most of this lesson was boring, just preparing for the upcoming exam which I'm terrified for but I've study as mush as I can so hopefully it'll go fine
Dolion: "Yo"
Me: "Umm hi?"
Dolion: "Here"
He gave me a note saying message me with his number at the bottom, what? I typed his number in and messaged him
Me: Why
Dolion: Why is Remus hanging around you
Me: He wanted to
Dolion: Why
Me: Because he wants to be friends
Why is he being weird about Remus hanging out with us
Parents Evening
I'm waiting by the door for all the parents, Roman said if I feel panicky I can message him which is good and at the end he's meeting me by the cafeteria. It's half way through parents evening and it's been calm, boring but calm. Someone else came in when I was sat scrolling through my phone I didn't look up because I assumed it was a teacher because why would a parent come in now?
"Virgil"
Shit, no no no no, it can't be him please no
"Don't ignore me"
I messaged Roman because I felt like I was going to have an attack
"Look up bitch, I know you're not deaf"
Me: "H-Hi"
"Oh he speaks now as well"
Why is he here I didn't think he knew what school I was sent to
Me: "Umm yeah I speak"
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Roman and Remus but they stopped coming closer, I messaged them to stay there
"Stop playing on your phone"
Me: "Why are you h-here"
"It's parents evening isn't it and aren't I a parent"
Me: "A shit one"
"Don't talk to me like that"
Me: "Sorry d-dad"
Roman and Remus: "What?"
Dad: "Oh who are they"
Me: "None of your business, just fuck off"
He got closer to me I flinched back afraid of what he was going to do, Roman and Remus came over and stood on either side of me
Dad: "Fuck off kids he's my son"
Remus: "Oh well, you're not exactly a dad are you"
Roman: "Yeah just go back to your shack"
We all walked back to the dorm we kept checking just in case he was following us. We made it to the dorm without him following
Roman: "Why was he here"
Logan: "Who?"
Me: "My dad"
I hope he goes home and never comes back, I messaged Thomas saying how my dad found my school, Thomas was going to try and move here so me and him could see each other more often.
Remus: "Ugh Dolion won't leave me alone"
Me: "He must miss you"
Remus: "What do you mean"
Me: "He gave me his number just to ask about you"
Everyone looked confused. Maybe me and Dolion should try and be friends
