Virgil's POV(Thursday)

I woke up at 5:00 in the morning I couldn't go back to sleep so I plugged in my headphones and went to the kitchen to make some cereal

Patton: "You're up early"

I jump, why is he awake, could he not sleep or does he just generally wake up at this time. I point at him confused as to ask the question and surprisingly I got an answer

Patton: "Oh I normally wake up this early"

I nod and carry on with my cereal, then I felt another presence in the room, Logan,

Logan: "Virgil? Good morning"

I wave and give a slight smile to not seem mean

Logan: "Patton, where is my blue tie"
Patton: "What blue tie"

I could tell by his voice he was lying

Logan: "I can tell when you lie Pat"

Patton gives in and hands him the tie

Logan: "Thank you, Virgil, you look paler than usual"

I smile and do an okay sign to say I'm fine and he nods. Finally Roman awakes

Roman: "Good Morning"

I hand him a pop tart since I made four

Roman: "Oh thanks Virg"
Patton: "Are you coming to the fair on Saturday"

I shake my head no again he looked sad but didn't ask again

Logan: "I'll see you guys at break, Virgil you should join us"

I like being alone cause I can actually use my voice but I guess it won't hurt to join them. I nod

Roman: "I'll take you to our spot since before break and lunch I have lessons with you"

I smile, these guys aren't that bad

At break

Roman is dragging me to the hall, literally dragging me, by my wrist

Roman: "Welcome Virgil"
Patton: "Hey"
Logan: "Salutations Virgil"

I wave and smile again

Roman: "Come on, Heathers is the best Patton"

They all have their weird conversations while I scroll through tumblr until I receive a text, it's from my old friend Thomas

Thomas: How's it going
Me: Its been alright
Thomas: Do they know about you being mute
Me: Yeah the headteacher told them before I met my room mates
Thomas: Plural? How many of them
Me: Three
Thomas: Too many
Me: I agree but they're cool and are fine that I don't speak, I can answer there questions without speaking
Thomas: That's good

Roman: "Who are you messaging"
Logan: "He can't answer Roman"

I just write it on a napkin

Roman: "Ooo, a friend"

Thomas: I gtg ttyl
Me: Ttyl bai

I go back to scrolling through tumblr

"VIRGIL"

Shit

Roman: "Oh my god what did I say"
Remus: "I don't listen to 'Princes'"

I just give a death stare to Remus and he walks away

Patton: "He's a jerk"

I nod

Logan: "He's just an idiot"
Roman: "Everyone is an idiot compared to you"

I laughed, again, I need to stop laughing

Logan: "Fair point"

It's the end of break and Roman grabs my arm, I have the next two hours with him

"Roman, why doesn't he speak"
"Roman, does he have a voice box"

I wish they'd satin asking questions like I'm not there, I can't speak I'm not deaf, Roman shrugs and tells them to go away

Roman: "You okay buddy"

I did a thumbs up

Lunch

Patton: "Logan, you swore"
Logan: "Why does that mean I'm not allowed my muffin"
Patton: "Because swearing deserves a punishment"
Roman: "You guys are adorable"

I grab the muffin since Patton wasn't holding it tightly

Logan: "Can I have it back Virg, please"

I look at Patton and back at Logan

Logan: "I'm sorry I swore Patton"
Patton: "You're forgiven"

I chuck Logan his muffin

Logan: "Thanks"

I noticed Roman starting at me, again, I look at him and shrugged and gave him a look like 'What do you want'

Roman: "Ah sorry"

Thomas: Guess what
Me: What
Thomas: I'm coming to visit you on Sunday
Me: Wait really, can't wait, are you coming to see me in school
Thomas: Yeah

I smile which obviously drew questions

Roman: "Is it your friend again"

I nod

Patton: "What did he say"

I show the message to Roman and he tells the others

Patton: "Oh can we meet him?"

I nod me and Thomas would probably chill in the dorm, I'll just have to be mute around Thomas, I speak around Thomas

Roman: "Can't wait"
