Roman's POV(Wednesday)

I want to know more about Virgil, I want to hear his voice, I want to help him, he was shaking so much yesterday, I wish I could help.

At break

I see Dolion and Remus

Me: "Leave Virgil alone"
Remus: "You think we'd do that"
Dolion: "Yeah, come on Roman he's been here for two months and hasn't said a single letter let alone a word"
Me: "Oh well, why does that give you reason to beat him up"
Remus: "How do you know"
Dolion: "Yeah how, I doubt Virgil told you"
Me: "I've seen you"

I haven't but they don't need to know. They just laugh and walk away, I hate them, like so much

Virgil's POV

I'm fed up of being beaten up so I go to my dorm during break and lunch, I sat in my room painting and listening to music singing along quietly, all of a sudden I heard the front door open so I shut up

Roman: "Virgil, are you here"

Why is he asking he knows I can't answer, he opened my door

Roman: "I don't know why I asked I know you can't answer, we've got English"

I get up and walk to English with him, I'd consider Roman as a friend, but I still won't talk

Patton's POV

Me: "Hey Logan got any ideas to make Virgil speak"
Logan: "Maybe he needs to trust us and we haven't tried making conversation, Roman has but we haven't"
Me: "You're right but what should I do"
Logan: "Or he might never talk, you can't force him"
Me: "Why do you have to be right"
Logan: "You love that I'm right for most things"
Me: "Woah you said most things"
Logan: "You know the emotional stuff and I know the logical stuff"

I wish Virgil wasn't mute he seems cool and kind and I want to know what he's like its hard when he won't speak and I would make conversation but me and Logan go out most of the time maybe one day me and Logan should stay in, Logan might say no but he said we should speak to him

Virgil's POV

I hate school, the only good part is break and lunch, I'm alone then and I don't have to worry about being mute

Roman: "Hey, on Saturday me, Patton and Logan are going to the fair, wanna join"

I shook my head no, that means I have Saturday to myself

Roman: "Okay, do you want me to bring you back some food from the fair"

Again I shake my head no

Roman: "Okay"

Me and Roman make our way to gym

"Same pairs as last time"

Phew I'm still with Roman

Roman: "Virgil, you're gonna win I might as well not try"

I smirk at him and kick the ball to his feet

Roman: "Stop smirking, you are way better than me"

I roll my eyes, I have a random bit of confidence but obviously my body won't let me speak

Roman: "Okay, Come at me Hot Topic"

I froze, he technically just called me hot, I felt my face heat up, HE SCORED, he distracted me by calling me Hot Topic

Roman: "Did you let me win, you didn't even move"

He made me confused

Roman: "Umm thanks, if you did"

I ran and hid in the changing room

Roman: "I'm sorry, you like running away don't you? That was a joke I'm sorry come out"

I stay still so he doesn't see me but I twitched so he found me

Roman: "Found you"

I rolled my eyes, he's cute, stop Virgil if you can't speak you can't have feelings

Roman: "Come on, it's the last of the day and there's five minutes left"

He holds a hand out to help me up, I accept the offer and he pulls me up

Roman: "Race ya?"

I nod and bolt away, I won, I laugh when he finally catches up

Roman: "Stop laughing you cheated I didn't say go"

I just shrugged at him

Roman's POV

Okay can he stop being cute, his laugh is even adorable

Me: "Okay let's go to the dorm, Logan and Patton are on a date"

Patton and Logan were always out someone it didn't surprise me anymore
