Logan sat on the couch, reading a book in the living room of the mindscape. Hearing footsteps, he looked up. Roman was walking into the room looking uncharacteristically nervous and shy.
"Roman, are you," Logan started, flipping through his vocab cards and holding one up, "Gucci?"
"Yes, my wonderful nerd, just a little nervous! Don't you worry your pretty little head about it!" Roman proclaimed. Logan went back to his book, and tried to focus on the page, but hearing the constant loud footsteps of Roman's heeled boots was making the task much more difficult.
"Do you need anything, Roman? I am trying to read and your pacing is making it extremely difficult."
"Uh, actually yes, I do need something."
"And what would that be?"
"Te quiero mucho, significas todo para mí. No sé qué haría sin ti. Eres mi todo" Roman said hurriedly, then quickly ran out of the room.
Logan's brian immediately jumped into action. He had been trying to learn Spanish, because he knew Roman spoke the language and he had wanted to surprise him. He thought back to the first phrase 'te quiero'. But that means I love you. Logan must have misheard him. There was no way Roman would love him. Roman was strong, brave, a huge romantic, and so much more. Logan was just Logan.
Roman dramatically flopped face first onto his bed. He was such an idiot. He had been trying to come up with some way to tell Logan, only for him to blurt it out. In Spanish no less. Logan doesn't even speak Spanish! He's probably sitting down there confused at what Roman had been trying to say. Logan hates it when he's confused.
A timid knock interrupted his thoughts. He sat up, quickly checking in the large mirror on the other side of his room that he looked ok, before walking over and opening the door. Logan stood there looking down at the ground, hands fiddling with his tie.
"Do you need anything?" Roman asked. Logan's head snapped up. He seemed to be considering something. Squaring his shoulders slightly he leaned forward, grabbed Romans sash, pulled him down towards him so their lips were almost touching. Logan paused briefly, searching Roman's face for any signs of discomfort before slowly connecting their lips. The kiss started out chaste but Roman quickly kissed back, turning it into something more passionate. Chills ran up Roman's spine and fireworks seems to be exploding in his stomach. When Logan pulled away, Roman found himself pouting slightly.
"Yo también te quiero," Logan said causing Romans pout to change into a grin.
I actually wrote this in my Spanish class at school cuz I got bored lol.
