I know that I already posted The Unexpected Series by roxann_season, however while this book contributes to the story line, it can also be read as a standalone. This book is just so great and very emotional. Some parts of the story can be a little brutal so this is a possible trigger warning, for anyone who has suffered abuse in the past. However it is still an amazing book!
