As soon as I get out from the chopper binuhay kona ang cell phone ko na halos sumabog na sa sobrang dami ng messages na pumapasok.
"Ma'am ihahatid napo ba namin kayo? "
Tanong ng piloto sakin.
"No. My driver will fetch me here. "- I said.
Nagulat ako ng bigla na may dumating na babae. If I'm not mistaken it's Annie's boss.
She's wearing her casual attire.
"Ikaw lang?"- gulat na sabi nya at tinignan pa ang likuran ko na parang may hinahanap.
"Ma'am Dianne sya lang po ang pinabalik"- sagot ng piloto na ngayon ay nakatayo hindi kalayuan samin.
"What?, where's Anne? "- she asked and then she look at me.
So all along she knows where am I. Hindi nako magugulat pa kung bakit at kung pano nagawa ni Annie na kunin ako. May kasabwat pala sya.
"Naiwan po sa isla nyo"-sabi ng piloto.
She sigh in frustration.
"I thought she's coming with you. "- she said to me.
"I didn't let her. "
I lied. Dahil sobrang gusto ko na makasama si Annie.
"I can't believe it. How can you just throw her away as if she's not matter to you anymore?"- she asked.
Umiwas ako ng tingin.
"Your words won't matter. Nandito nako"- sabi ko.
I know I shouldn't be angry over this confrontation dahil Dianne Alfonso also help me before. But I can't stand the accusation she have in her eyes. She's mad.
Natanaw kona ang paparating na kotse. Andyan na ang driver ko. It's time to go home now and face my family.
"Look Ms. Carvajal.... "
Tinignan ko sya waiting for her upcoming words. Kapagkuwan ay napailing sya.
"OK I'm sorry, forget it. " humarap sya sa piloto. "Take me to the island. I know Anne needs me there"- ang huli nyang sinabi at binigyan ako ng isang tingin bago lumagpas at sumakay sa nakabukas na pinto ng chopper.
I didn't mind the constracting pain I felt in my heart. I compose myself at lumakad nako palayo sa chopper. Sinalubong ko ang kotse na tumigil din naman kaagad. Bumaba ang driver ko at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto.
"Salamat naman po at umuwi na kayo. Nag aalala napo silang lahat----"
I cut him off.
"Not now. I just want to go home. "- sabi ko.
Yumuko sya at tumango.
"Yes ma'am. "- he said at bumalik na sa loob ng kotse.
Bago ako pumasok lumingon muna ako sa chopper na nagsisimula ng umandar. I saw Dianne also looking at me through the window.
Winaksi kona lang ang mga bagay na pumapasok sa isip ko at pumasok nako ng diretso sa kotse at umuwi na ako.
I receive a call from Mich.
"Hello? "
"Thank God you answered. Ilang araw kadin hindi macontact. Nasan kaba?, Everyone was so worried about you. And hey you're all over the news. Ang nawawalang tagapagmana! "- she exclaimed.
"I'm on my way home to the mansion. I'll just see you all there"- I said matter of fact.
Wala ako sa mood makipag usap kaya pinatay kona ang tawag.
After a few hour nakadating na kami sa mansion. Ang bahay na iniwan kona simula nung matuto akong maging independent at magkaroon ako ng sariling condo.
Hindi kona inantay na pagbuksan ako. Agad akong bumaba at dumiretso papunta sa loob.

Tumungo ako sa sala and there I saw my family. With Tito and tita and as well as Marlon.
Pagod akong tumingin sa kanila.
"Anak!"- my mom said as she hurriedly came to me to hug me.
Umiiyak sya sa balikat ko.
Dad stand up on his seat at lahat sila ay lumapit sakin.
"Where were you? Bakit hindi ka macontact?"- mom asked.
"I just went somewhere to unwind my mind"- I said.
"Hija wag mona uulitin. Lahat kami nag alala sayo"- said my tita Lyn.
"Ikaw lang ba mag isa?"- asked tito.
I nodded my head.
Nagulat ako sa biglaan na pagbukas ng pinto. Revealing Marvin and Michelle.
"Ate! Grabe buti buhay kapa"-sabi ni Marvin na agad naman sinuway ni Mich.
"Are you okay? "-she asked. And one just look I know she knows I'm not kaya pasimple nya akong tinanguan.
Humarap ako sa iba. My eyes met Dad's eyes.
Pagkatapos ay napatingin ako kay Marlon.
"I'm tired. Can I just go up? Let's just talk later. "- I said.
Nabalot ng katahimikan. Well it's my first time to demand like this.
"Melissa, come with me to my office. "-seryosong sabi ni Dad.
Huminga ako ng malalim at pinili nalang na sumunod.
Pagkasara ko ng pinto narinig kona agad ang boses ni Dad
"I don't like how you treat Marlon. Hindi mo manlang sya binati and also I don't like how you went missing. Don't do that again. "- he said to me.
I remain standing near the door. Tinignan ko si Dad na ngayon ay nakatalikod sa akin.

"You don't want to marry him because of your ex boyfriend sister? "- he said at humarap na sakin.
Natahimik ako. He knows everything. Hindi ko alam na matagal na pala akong pasimpleng pinapamanmanan ni Dad. Since I'm the heiress lahat pala ng galaw ko inaalam nya.

Humakbang ako palapit sa kanya.

I didn't let her finish her words. Agad ko syang niyakap at umiyak ako sa kanya.
"My life is a mess. Dad don't wanted to listen to me. "- I said.
She patted my back and caress my hair.
"Let it all out Cous. Iiyak molang. Everything will be fine. "- she said.
"No Mich. I already told Annie to go away."- I said.
"You what?! "- gulat na sabi ni Mich at dahan dahan akong tinulak palayo.
"Sya ang kasama ko. She abducted me, she's hoping for me to tell her everything. We stayed in an island. It was so hard Mich how I wanted to hug her and ease all the pain I caused to her because of all the mean words I said. Pero hindi ko magawa. I'm afraid that if I choose her she will be ruin. "Ssshh calm down cous. And what did she say?"- she asked.
Duon ako napatigil. Hinawakan ko ang kwintas sa leeg ko.
Napatingin si Mich duon.
"She gave this to me before I left. She even wished me a Happy birthday.And..."
Huminga ako ng malalim ng makaramdam nanaman ako ng sakit.
"And what? "- she asked eagerly
"She... She said I'm free. "- walang buhay na sabi ko at humigpit ang hawak sa kwintas sa leeg ko.
Laglag ang panga ni Mich pero wala syang sinabi. She just look at me na para bang hindi sya makapaniwala sa nangyayari ngayon sa buhay ko.

I can believe that I turned my back and left the person who didn't do anything but to accept and love me.
It's better this way. Kesa naman makita ko na masira sya. Okay na na ako nalang wag lang sya.
