Our first real mission---------ok so this chapter I sorta had her get lost in the story a lot.... sorry. But the reason is not because I was lazy! it was because she just does that.....
Still Layla's prov
G-pa listed a couple lame missions and Naruto shouted "Nooo!!!! I want to go on a real mission!! Something exciting! Not this little kid stuff!"
"Yeah, I agree with Naruto G-pa... I don't like this..." I said.
"G-pa!!" My whole team said in unison.
I rubbed the back of my head with a sweat drop and said "Oh, sorry... Hokage sir." I smiled at them and they just looked at me like I was crazy.
Hokage's prov
I noticed that she stopped wearing her hood over her eyes and hair and now she just wears a red head band thing... How am I suppose to know what these kids at doing and what it's called? With and orange puffy thing and tones of little red strings dangling off it, on the right side of her head.
Iruka yelled at the kids to have respect for me and the system. Kakashi then hit Naruto on the head to silence him for a little bit.
I explained the system to him but..... They got a little distracted...
Layla's prov
G-pa started to explain the boring system so I got distracted with Naruto's story about ramen when I hear G-pa yell at us to be quiet.
Kakashi apologized for the interruption and Naruto yelled "Gah!! you always lecture me like your my grandpa but I'm not the little brat who used to pull pranks believe it!"
Kakashi mumbled "In going to hear about this later...." I smirked.
"So be it, since you are so determined I'm going to give you a C ranked mission." G-pa stated and my smirk grew at this... I always knew that he was a softy... "You'll be body guards on a journey." he told us which got Naruto excited.
"Really!? Who?!? who!? are we guarding are we gauging a princess or a big weight counselor?!" Naruto asked... stupid Naruto it's probably a bridge builder or something...
Grandpa had the visitor come in and an old man with tattered cloths and a bottle of alcohol in his hand walked in. I stared him in the eye.
"Am I suppose to trust my life in the hands of a demon? And you the little one with the stupid look on your face, am I suppose to expect that your a ninja?!" he spoke quite loudly I growled very deeply and very loudly at the old man and he backed off.
"Whoa there, Layla. Don't scare him to death." Kakashi said waving his hands in front of my face. I just grunted shot my head to the side, puffed out my cheeks and went over to stand by Sauske. Who not to mention, I still dislike, I just don't hate him now, but I still dislike him.
Naruto laughed and asked "who's the little one with the stupid look on his face?!" We all stepped in a little closer to Naruto, I was the tallest, Sauske was next, Sakura was after him and last but not least Naruto, who might I say is the shortest. He started to run at the guy but Kakashi held his shirt collar so he couldn't reach him.
I'd didn't pay attention to much but I kept an eye on the old man... He smells of deception... yes... I can smell emotions now... G-pa helped me with training over our chores for missions. He took a swig of his drink and said I am Tazuna a master bridge builder,"....... I stopped listening to the rest..... I never expected to be right.... about the builder part......
We walked in silence to the village gate. "Yeahhhhh! Alright!" Naruto yelled. I smirked... again.... I know.... me with my stupid smirking...
"What are you getting all excited about?" Sakura asked.
"This is the first time I've ever left the village! I'm a traveler now believe it!" Naruto said excitedly so I joined in " This'll be exciting! I can just feel it!" ok yes I did feel something but it wasn't excitement it was more like the feeling something huge was going to happen, and not something good...
"Hey! am I suppose to trust this runt and demon with my life!" Tazuna complained. Naruto got pissed but I held him by the collar. I looked at Tazuna, my eyes started to glow,I growled deeper and louder then in the office and Tazuna froze. Everyone on my tee am made no move except for Kakashi.
"Hey now Tazuna, I wouldn't recommend calling her that or calling her friends names. even I would have trouble holding her back if she actually got serious." Kakashi said while giving a closed eye smile. "Also, I don't like that you can't control your anger." he said to me now right next to me.
I flung my head in his direction and said in a deep threatening tone "I am in full control, I am just allowing this." Kakashi gave me his very serious face and I huffed and stopped the glowing of my eyes. I remember... he did have trouble....

I was growling with my hair on end and I couldn't control my body it just moved on its own. I attacked him multiple times but he dodged most... I want it to stop!! please stop!!! tears came out of my eyes as I continued to attack Kakashi. He noticed and he softened his expression.
After hours of him dodging and blocking he finally mocked me out. when I woke up he had bruises everywhere and cuts.

"I'm sorry again about that..." I trailed off and he patted me on the head and said "You've all ready apologized multiple times... and I've told you over and over its fine."
We got weird looks from the group, but I didn't care. We started walking and nobody has said a word until Sakura had to break the silence... stupid Sakura... She asked about his country and other ninja and crap like that.... I didn't listen.... I really need to work on that habit... how can I fix that.... maybe I should start listening... no... Rather not...
"There are no ninja battles in a C ranked mission..." Kakashi said putting his hand on Sakura's head.
"Huh! Ninja battle! Where!" I shouted getting in a fighting stance and they all sweat dropped.
"So.. the we won't run into any foreign ninja enemies or anything like that!" she asked energetically.
Kakashi chuckled and reassured her answer while Tazuna smelled of even more deception and this time with a hint of remorse... I walked up to the old man and sniffed him a little, getting a weird look from everyone but Kakashi. I then whispered to the old man "You smell of deception, no... You reek of it." He stiffened and I continued walking like nothing happened. the rest of them followed my lead and continued walking.
After a little while and I saw a puddle u ahead about 4ft so I tripped, on purpose, landing my face right next to the puddle. I sniffled my nose which seems normal for someone who just fell face first. I smell them... two... grown men. I listened... yep! two heart beats. I got up pulled my hood down because my eyes started to glow. Oh! I forgot to tell you! my eyes also glow when I'm in danger, or angry, or on cue. hehehe.... sorry.
Naruto helped me up and I thanked him and we continued walking until the ninja attacked Kakashi's substitution. They appeared behind Naruto and I leapt on one dragging him to the ground pulling the other one down too but they got up and where about to kill Naruto!
Sauske threw a shiriken and a Kuina, the shuriken hit the chai. In the middle then hit the tree behind them. The kunai hit square in the middle of the shuriken getting the chain stuck on the tree. Here it comes!!!! I smirked and jumped onto one of the guy's big metal arms and Sauske did the same except for the other guy. and in sync we kicked their heads. And boy! Did the one I kick fly! But they soon re-gained their stability.
One went after the bridge builder and the other went after Naruto! Sakura stood in the way of the ninja. first thing she's done right. Here is is again my smirk has joined the field!!! Sauske saw that she was going to be attacked so he jumped in front of Sakura.
Sakura would be fine so I leapt at the ninja heading towards Naruto. I jumped at him but then Kakashi caught him in a head lock causing him to pass out.... darn you Kakashi why didn't you come out earlier?!?
"Hey, your not hurt are ya?" Sauske asked Naruto in a sarcastic ton as Kakashi complimented us except for Naruto...
"Oi! that's not nice this was the first time Naruto has been in real battle!" I said to Sauske as I walked over to him with my hands on my hips.
"It's my first real battle too..." he said sarcastically.
I narrowed my eyes "Your lying...i smell it." he opened his eyes in shock but went back to his normal expression in no time.i looked over to Naruto and noticed that got cut I could smell the blood and then I smelled poison!
While I smelled for poison Kakashi knocked the other one out in the same way and explained the obvious! that they were after Tazuna. So I snuck behind him and touched the claws. I rubbed my fingers together with a purple liquid in between. I sniffed it, yup! its poison. everyone looked at me. "uh.... did I say that out loud" I asked and they all nodded their heads. I walked up to Sauske and whipped the poison on his shirt sleeve while he gave me the 'wtf' look... I laughed it off... I'm weird...
I walked over to Naruto and said "Naruto your poisoned." In a completely calm tone. "There is no hope..." I anime cried with streams down my face I said "Your a goner!"
Kakashi anime fell and said "Naruto your not a goner..." he sighed "but we will have to go back to the village to get that out... She was just trying to scare you..." I smirked... Ok! It's official! I have a smirking problem! "I have
smirks-a-tosis! I'm going to die young!" I yelled at Kakashi's vest while anime falling.
Kakashi's prov
I think she's coming out of her shell.... but what surprises me is that she's come out of her shell so soon with these guys... yes, when she comes out of her shell she acts pretty weird... it shocked me too... She got weirder every week... But now she's getting weirder every day....
I tied them to a tree and they asked me how I knew that they would ambush us... so simple really...
"A puddle on a clear day... And it hasn't rained in weeks..." I told them.
"Yeah... I thought it weird too... so I tripped myself to smell and so I could see if I could hear your guy's heart beats..." Layla muttered to herself. I smiled underneath my mask... so she did notice... I wondered why she lifted her hood...
Layla lifted her hood only to be called a demon again by our attackers, her response was the usual low beast like growl.
Sakura having to ask questions especially on touchy subjects asked "Why do people keep calling you a demon?"
"Well there's this thing that was spread by my clans history... any child born with white hair and red eyes had demon blood and well..." she was explaining but I stopped her because I know it would kill her to tell them.
"That's why, now back to them." I said.
Then Layla interrupted me "So this is a B rank now?" We all looked at her and then she asked "What didn't you explain that they were after Tazuna already, or... was that in my head?"
"That would be in your head..." I responded... She is quicker than I thought... well she has private training with the Hokage every day, when she's in the village....
Sakura explained that we had to go back but now I knew that Naruto wanted to go on this mission... So, *smile* I provoked him "hmm yeah Naruto's hand could become a problem, I guess we need to head back...." I said discouraged.
Naruto brought out a kunai and stabbed himself so the poison would come out... I didn't think he would go that far... Layla shot daggers at me and I shrugged innocently.
"I spent so many" that's the last thing I heard because I got distracted... how much blood is he loosing?.... I think that's too much blood to loose.... oh crap! Layla is going to kill me! Ok after he's done with his speech I'll patch him up before he dies... that way I don't die.... yup....
"Naruto... Uh... that was Telly cool how you took the poison out and all but if you loose any more blood your going to die..." I told him that and he freaked.
I slid behind him with a closed eye smile "Good time to stop the bleeding, seriously." He flailed around for a little bit and gave me his hand.
Layla's prov
Naruto let Kakashi patch him up and during that period I smelled some horrible, nasty chakra. I didn't mention it to anyone as to not worry them... but it came from Naruto... that's what worries me...
***Pesky time skip***
We are now on a boat, in the dense fog. Well... You know.... being myself.... I tried to walk over to Naruto but.... yah..... I tripped...... and sorta..... you know, fell... onto Sauske...
He smirked at me and said "Wow, I didn't know.... what are you doing?" I blushed a little because you know, I'm still a girl! I came up with a smart aleck reply and smirked "Oh I'm just thinking of how many ways you fangirls are going to kill me... why?" I said tilting my head to the side feigning innocence, as I got off him and decided to give up on walking to Naruto so I just sat back down in my seat while Sakura stared daggers at me. I just mentally laughed it off.
Tazuna had to explain, some person, some guilt trip, yada! yada! yada! I didn't listen... again... I seriously need to work on that... I mean I might die if I keep doing that... I really need to work on that.... Nah!!! Not knowing makes things fun!
Ok sarcastic mode right now. For some 'magical' reason the mist completely disappeared after we got close to land........ amazing.... sarcastic mode off.
"This sight is amazing!" I yelled and the boat guy shushed me... "Shut up, wimp... why don't you bust your ass to protect a complainer..." I mumbled to myself and I swear, I mean swear! I saw a smirk form on Sauske's face!
We docked the boat guy said " that's as far as I go..." then Tazuna said "thanks for taking that risk." and I growled at him "Why don't you thank us for risking our asses for your complaining one!" I mumbled to myself and this time I hear Sauske chuckle! Does he like me or something!
At this I blushed deeply and looked down. Ok, hold your hormones! This is quite annoying... yes it is... I nodded yes to myself.
"Hey you ok?!" Naruto yelled and I looked up... big mistake.... "Gah! you look like you have a fever!" Naruto then put his hand to my head and said in a confused tone "Nope... no fever.... what is it then?..."
"It's something you'll never know..." I whispered into his ear creepily. I watched him get chills and I gave my best evil laugh "MWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!" I laughed quite loud.... hehehe... oops...
