The way I feel
The wind on my cheeks
The serenity of slowly swimming underwater
The joy of goofing around with those that I love
The way that they make me smile
Even when I don't feel like smiling ever again
I can't forget
The way my heart aches
For the mess that is the world
For the earth as it slowly withers away
The way everything broke
And hurt
And shattered
In my hands
But I did
I did forget
The hurt
The anger
The pain
I forgot it all
And I don't intend to remember it
