"Grandpa!? What's this?"

Aizawa turned around to see his granddaughter waddling up to him, holding a book that was clearly too big for her. Seeing it nearly gave him a heart attack, she was so cute. Her hair wound back in dusty blonde curls, black strands interwoven between the blonde, tied into a braid that met at the back. She was wearing a Ground Zero brand children's dress, with a little orange X printed on the bottom. He scooped up the little mess, moving over to a chair and opening the book, helping her crawl onto his lap. When he opened the book he couldn't help but hold back his surprise.

"It looks like a photo album." He said, turning the first page and opening a little built in pocket. He pulled out a black metal eye patch, Anzu's symbol carved into it, stained slightly red from overuse. The paint was chipping off a bit, with several knife slashes and dents pushed into it. He immediately recognized it as the first eye patch she had ever received, the one she gave to Bakugou before she returned to that room so long ago. He smiled thinking about those old memories, and noticed the girl pick up the contraption in her little fingers. She began to take off her own plastic eyepatch, and he knew she wanted to try it on.

"Careful, you don't want to open that eye. You could blow something up on accident." He said, referring to her left eye and helping her put on her mother's old one, noticing the fact it was far too big for her. It was a shame her quirk manifested so early, she now had to wear an eye patch full time unless she wanted to spontaneously combust any random objects. None the less she looked up at him, the black metal covering half her face, but still looking undeniably cute.

"What do you think? Do I look like mom?" She asked, shining her little crimson eye up at him as playfully as his son in law. He pocked her freckled nose with a smile and only had to tap on it for the contraption to fall off.

"I think you'll grow into it." He said, helping her put her old one back on, as she began to open the book further. The first page was black, with the words cabin on it. She opened it to see a quaint little cabin in the woods, snow covering every inch of it. In front of it, she saw her parents in hiking gear, the words; Just graduated. Written next to it.

"Why'd they go to a creepy cabin after they graduated?" She asked, staring at it, her nose scrunched up in confusion. Aizawa snickered at her, turning the page to show her the story line that went with it. Bakugou and Anzu were sitting on the balcony of the top peak, a sunset behind them. It was the same platform they had previously hiked up, the one he promised to take her back to. This dumb ass got us lost half way up. The words were clearly written in her mother's handwriting, a picture of a very frustrated Bakugou to accompany it. The map they were using was very clearly burning in his hands.

"That was somewhere your parents and I went when we were escaping some bad people. They wanted to go back under less stressful conditions." He said, trying to avoid the topic of her mother's murder case all together. He had sworn an oath to never tell the child about Ketsurui, and to that he had sworn his life. He didn't intend to break it. She turned the next page to see a frame by frame picture. Her much younger mother was standing in the kitchen, taking a selfie with her father while he chopped up some form of ingredients. He was frowning at the camera was the happiness was evident in his eyes. The next frame was of Bakugou holding an icing bag in front of what looked to be a cake. Next to it was written : We finally made a cake that didn't taste like nothing but salt. The next frame of pictures was Bakugou putting icing on her face, the picture blurred from the fast movement of Anzu trying to get away, Bakugou's arm wrapped unmovingly around her waist. The last frame was of them on the ground, it seemed she had jumped on him after he did that. They were both smiling.... until the last frame, of her father attempting to lick to frosting off her face and her mother having one the most appalled faces she had ever seen. Next to it, Your fathers a little shit. Aizawa flipped a couple more pages to the next section labeled; Work. Next to it was a news article, stating;

Pro heroes; Ground Zero, Deku, and Nerve Breaker competing for top symbol of peace in the country.

There was a tear in the page, until another section, taped in from a different article.

Nerve Breaker and Ground Zero Officially united as a hero team! What a strange turn of events!

Another Article, in slightly bigger letters.

Ground Zero seals the deal in an impressive proposal to young hero Nerve Breaker. What could be next!?

Next to it was a picture of Katsuki, holding the camera incorrectly as he took a picture of the ring, next to it was in his handwriting. I asked some people to help me set up a fake villain attack. She has no clue, I'm gonna scare the shit out of her. There was a picture of a fake crime scene, a jewelry store was blocked off by lines of yellow tape, a supposed villain hiding inside. She saw her mother, suited up preparing to go in, Bakugou following behind. When they entered in the room she saw a supposed scuffle, and an individual lying on the ground. He was in a black ski mask, but Aizawa remembered that Kirishima had volunteered to play the part. When Anzu turned the supposed thief around, Bakugou grabbed a box out of the thief's grasp. There was a frame of Anzu asking him what it was. I told her it was something super important he must have been trying to steal. It was a good thing he didn't get away with it. Then there was a frame of Bakugou proposing to Anzu, who seemed incredibly confused. Then a frame of her understanding. From then, Aizawa skipped past some wedding pictures, then arrived at a black page labeled; New chapter. There was a big letter written by Anzu,

So I just got three positive tests, and I'm gonna break the news to him. I typed out a document stating the fact were adding a new member to our hero team certificate. I'm going to tell him, that he hasn't met the person but they will be moving here in nine months. I wonder how long it will take him to get it. I can't wait for you to get here so you can make fun of this prickly flower with me.

Prickly flower was crossed out in red pen, but still legible. Clearly The supposed Prickly flower wasn't too fond of that nickname.

There were then pictures of Bakugou, getting incredibly angry at her proposition, looking bitterly at the form. He was so pissed. Then another frame of her handing him one of the tests, and his face changing to utter confusion. That was when I found out he didn't know what a pregnancy test looked like. Your father is incredibly clueless at the worst times. Then was another picture of realization, pride..... and then one more frame of him sobbing into Anzu's shirt. It seemed to be rather bent, with a couple of scratches on it.

"Oh I remember that picture. Bakugou was so pissed she caught him crying on camera he tried to destroy it multiple times." Aizawa said, watching the toddler giggle at the idea of her all powerful father tearing up at the mention of being a dad.

Aizawa was about to turn the page again, when the door to the apartment opened up, both her parents coming in. They were both scratched up and covered in blood from the obvious fight they had just come from. Their suits were tattered, and both of them looked exhausted.

"Aizawa. Thanks for coming on short notice.... I told them to stop with the late night calls, but they haven't gotten the message yet." Anzu said, hanging up her cloak and scooping up the toddler that came running up to her. Bakugou put down his gauntlets, which caused the whole floor to shake a bit from the weight. He put out his hands and Anzu plopped his daughter in them, while she went to grab the first aid kit.

"I don't mind, I told you I have nothing better to do now that I'm retired. You guys look pretty terrible, you want me to get something at the store?" He asked, eyeing the very blatant burn marks on them.

"Thanks but we'll be okay. Fire quirks are always annoying." She said, hooking up a tiny blood I.V. into her arm. She did hate doing that, but it was the only way to keep her from getting anemic like her father. Bakugou put his child back onto the couch while the both of them changed into better clothes and patched up their wounds. Bakugou noticed the photo album laying on the table, and squinted his eyes.

"Where'd you find that old thing?" He said, pinching her cheeks, only for her to push away in agitation.

"I found it on the book shelf. I wanted to know how you guys became heroes, but this is all just couple stuff." She stuck her tongue out at the notion, and handed it back to her father with disappointment. "I hope when I become a hero, it'll be more exciting." She huffed, putting it back on the shelf and returning next to her father. He put a hand on her head while him and Anzu exchanged glances.

"I hope for your sake...." Bakugou let Anzu finish.

"It's no where near as exciting." She said, smiling to herself. Their daughter's eyes instantly widened. She ran over to her mom, pushing past her, and tugging on her shirt.

"What do you mean! What happened?" She asked, her eyes lighting up like fireflies. Anzu stood up, perplexed, and ran her hand through her hair. She heard Bakugou from the living room.

"We'll tell you when you're older pip-squeak, now come eat before I get pissed." He said, sitting down, and helping her into her chair. Anzu set some food on the table, and took her own seat, rolling her eyes at Katsuki's blatant disregard for language.

"Trust me Yurnia, if you take the path of a hero... there's no way your life can be boring. That's a promise."

"For me and your mom, it was the best thing that ever happened to us."
